Shimada Hotels with Wifi

"The hotel has good money value and provides excellent facilities and services, I can’t complain anything. From the photos it seems the bunk beds are not very good, actually quite good. It has public bath, very clean, washing machine (I saw the staff cleaning the filter, very good). Also it has library with heaps of anime books and free to borrow."

"Ten minutes walk from jr station. The door is opened with a key. You need to put the key at the front desk to keep it when you leave the store and come back to get it. The room is quite big, the foot of the bed can open 24 suitcases. The layout of the bathroom is relatively crowded. The sink is sandwiched between the bathtub and the toilet. When washing hands, the legs will not be together and the bathtub and the toilet will be touched. There is a large bath on the first floor. The pool is very small. It is estimated that four or five people will not be able to squeeze. There are three shower heads. There are many people who have to queue up for flushing. There is no cabinet for changing clothes, but it is quite comfortable to wash. Breakfast starts at 6:30. I don't know why everyone comes to eat at 6:30. I queued for 10 minutes to pick up the meal. The meal was quite rich, but I set off to catch the bus at 6:45, so I ate a little in a hurry. There is really nothing to choose from in this small place in Shimada. Overall satisfaction."

"Few people would likely travel to this area, as the city is practically a ghost town. Despite its ghost-like appearance, the city itself is quite clean and safe. Treat the hotel as a budget hotel. Oh, and if you're driving, the hotel has parking, which wasn't mentioned when I booked. The parking lot has a height limit of 1.7 meters. If the parking lot is full, you'll have to park nearby; be careful not to park in someone else's parking lot, or you'll get a ticket. Also, nearby parking is advertised as 500/600 yen for 24 hours, but less than 24 hours is charged per hour! Be aware of this."
