"Incredible ryokan, the best stay I've ever had in Japan. Staff were very helpful and kind right from the warm welcome. The food was absolutely incredible with a good dozen of plates for one person at dinner and another 6-8 plates for breakfast. The garden in front of the building also adds a magnificent touch to the mountainy-traditional side of the trip. Especially the dining venue is very beautiful and the food is really delicious. ☑️ Depending on the type of room, some rooms do not have a bath, but there is a private bath. Amenities such as toothbrushes and bath towels are available. I stayed with my husband and wife on weekdays. The type of room is ”mizumari” with the river floor deck. The price is 37200 yen. The parking lot is right next to the inn or near the Kawai Suspension Bridge, which is about a 3-minute walk away. It is recommended because it is easier to park near the Kawai Suspension Bridge. The inn may be a little old depending on the location, but it has been renovated overall including the rooms and is very clean. The toilet is also a washlet. There is a beautiful river right next to it, which is very beautiful, but some people may feel a little noisy. The stairs in the inn are steep, so the bad leg is a little hard. The cooking venue is beautiful. You can enjoy the meal in a very calm atmosphere. The dinner content is a dish that uses plenty of mountains and river food such as amago, cherry blossoms, and wild boar. I also added a soy milk pot, but all of them were very delicious and very satisfying. Some rooms have open-air baths, but there are also private baths (with private open-air baths). It's pretty. Although it is an inn in the mountains like this, the facilities are very beautiful, the food is delicious, and the price is not so high. It was an inn that I definitely wanted to stay next year."

"We were absolutely delighted with the ryokan. The owner is very nice and good-natured. Everywhere is perfectly clean, the linen and yukata are snow-white and smell fresh. Two layers of tatami, super comfortable to sleep. The room is spacious, bright and cozy. The wood flooring in the onsen/wash area has been updated. Tea, treats and kaiseki are all delicious! "We stayed at the hotel for one night and regretted not staying for two. The journey from the station was an hour-long bus ride along winding roads, so if you're traveling with a child, pack a bag beforehand, as it can cause motion sickness. From the bus stop to the hotel, it's a 10-15-minute walk (at a leisurely pace). You'll see your name on the sign at the entrance. The hotel is modern, but it creaks when you walk, which is actually a plus. The room is traditionally furnished with two rooms, and they offer complimentary tea. There are plenty of closets, though I couldn't figure out how to turn off one light. I also recommend booking the room with a traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast. Everything is delicious and fresh. There's a small local brewery next to the hotel, which is a nice place to stop in after the onsen in a yukata."

Both dinner and breakfast were satisfactory, and the rice in particular was delicious, and I really felt the benefits of ”Gorogoro Mizu.” The only thing that was disappointing was the loud creaking sound made by the indoor toilet door when it was opened and closed.
