Toyama City Hotels with Wifi

"Came here to relax with the natural hot spring that Toyama is famous for. The waters here are dark brown like soya sauce. The public bath has several baths including one that is outdoor. There are ample lockers, dressing tables and shower berths. The laundry room is inside the public bath area. They are separate machines from the dryer. While the washing machines are free, it costs money to use the dryer. The shower cubicle in the hotel room has no shower rail to hang laundry to dry. The double bed room has a private cypress wood bath tub. It felt good to soak in onsen water in the morning before breakfast. It’s deep enough for someone tall to sit in. A short walk away is the tram stop. A free tram ride coupon can be obtained from the front desk for international tourists."

"It's conveniently located about a 5-minute walk from Toyama Station, near Toyama Castle ruins and the Glass Museum. The tram station is also nearby, making getting around easy. Apparently, you can choose your pillow, but when I looked, there was only one. There were two pillows on one bed in the room, which was sufficient. The welcome drink bar only had drinks; there were no snacks. Breakfast was delicious. I especially liked the kinpira (braised burdock root and carrot)."

"I stayed in Toyama for two nights to visit Tateyama Kurobe. The hotel is very close to Toyama Station and Toyama Chiho Railway (which I took to Tateyama the next day). From Toyama Station, turn right and walk to the main road, then cross the street, and you're there. Right across from the hotel is a large shopping mall and Toyama Bay Shokudo, where we had a delicious seafood rice bowl. The hotel service was decent. You can pick up toiletries in the lobby, and each floor has a water dispenser. The room also came with a capsule coffee machine, and the room was clean and well-maintained. Upon arrival, you can ask the front desk for a city tram ticket (pictured in Figure 2). Each ticket is valid for two uses. We used it to take the tram to and from the Toyama Prefectural Museum of Art. You can walk to the Canal Park & Fugan Unga Kansui Park."

"The hotel is conveniently located near Toyama Station. Downstairs, there's a Japanese restaurant and a sushi place, but unfortunately, neither accepts reservations, so you have to queue. There's also a convenience store on the first floor. The front desk is on the second floor, where you can pick up toothbrushes, toothpaste, makeup remover, skincare, tea bags, drip coffee, and bath salts – a really good selection. You need your room card to access the elevators. The room itself is a bit small but quite new, and the layout is pretty efficient. My only complaint is the narrow and long entryway; with a 24-inch suitcase open, only one person can pass through at a time. It would be perfect if that hallway were a bit wider. The bathroom gets a huge thumbs-up! It's spacious, with a separate bathtub and shower, and the shower floor dries very quickly. For room cleaning, you need to put a sign on your door. If you only need fresh towels and trash emptied, you can leave them outside your door in the morning, and they'll hang new ones on the doorknob. They provide two bottles of water daily. Toyama Castle and the 'most beautiful Starbucks' are both within walking distance."

"The hotel is right next to the JR Toyama station & the Dentetsu Toyama station, which is super convenient if you are going to nearby cities like Kanazawa or planning to go to Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route. The plus point is the location. The hotel has standard facilities though a bit dated while the room is the typical small size as other JP hotels(not as spacious as mentioned in other reviews). There are free beverages and two massage chairs for guest use in lobby."

"Before trip, I think this hotel is located close to Toyama station but I walked from Toyama station to the hotel around 20 minutes (However, this was my own fault for not reading the hotel’s location information carefully). For this hotel, the facilities is very well and various such as public bath, electric body massage machine, vending machine. For the public bath, if you use it during the daytime, you’ll probably get a beautiful view of the Japan Alps surrounding the city. Unfortunately, I used it at night, when it was too dark to see the view."

"The location is super convenient, right across from the station square. I arrived a little after one and the front desk kindly checked me in, which was a nice touch. My room had a view of the snowy mountains, the City Hall Observation Deck, the Glass Museum, and the green roof of Toyama Castle. If you stay multiple nights and opt out of full cleaning (only trash emptied and towels changed), you get a free drink voucher redeemable at the vending machine on the first floor. Foreign guests can also get a free tram ticket at the front desk, valid for two rides. Breakfast was decent, and you can even take coffee to go."

"Due to a booking error made by the agent, my check-in experience was terrible. I spent the entire night communicating with Ctrip (the booking platform), and while it was eventually resolved, I was still disappointed that I didn't get the room I wanted. The hotel is right next to Toyama Castle, and you might get lucky and see the Tateyama Mountain Range from the side. There's a convenience store and a tram station across the street, which is generally good. However, the room itself was very basic, and the service wasn't particularly warm. Overall, the experience was just average. A small surprise was the mochi pounding and sake offering on New Year's Day morning."

"Our room so spacious (based on japan standards hotel room size). Me and my friends came (14pax) and the receptionist was so helpful with a bit of chaos 😄. We’re so lucky got the booking for the very last minute."
