This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling as a couple.

"I stayed at this wonderful hotel in May. It's a perfect place. Every detail has been thought of, ensuring a comfortable stay for guests. 1) The hotel grounds are large and well-maintained, with lots of greenery. The bamboo arch and several bridges are particularly eye-catching. Every corner of the hotel invites you to take a photo, and it will be beautiful. The lobby is spacious, with a beautiful view. Monitor lizards roam freely throughout the hotel. 2) The rooms. I stayed in the most basic room. Again, everything has been thought of for a comfortable stay. The bathroom is spacious and perfectly clean. The bed is super comfortable, with plenty of pillows to choose from and crisp white linens. The TV has a wide selection of channels. The room has plenty of shelves for storing things, which sets it apart from other hotels. A large bag with large towels for the pool is provided in the room. The terrace is spacious. I felt as comfortable as at home. 3) Pools and beach. The central pool, although small, is clean and chlorine-free. The water is always clean. There's a second pool where there weren't any swimmers. I liked it because it's suitable for professional swimmers. Klong Dao Beach is clean and well-maintained, located near the hotel. In the evenings, there are great sunset views. During the day, there were very inexpensive happy hours on drinks from the restaurant. 4) Spa. Special thanks to Su, who has golden hands. It was a wonderful relaxation experience. I want to come back again and again. In May, there was also a free happy hour. The spa at this hotel is worth the money! 5) Food. The breakfasts are varied and varied. It's impossible to go hungry. The breakfast spot has a gorgeous view from any angle. The coffee is delicious! In the evening, you can dine on delicious dishes at the Barracuda bar. I recommend the tuna salad and minestrone soup. Finger-licking good! 6) Staff! These are the people I want to express my deepest gratitude to and thank the hotel management for such great staff. Michelle, Nina, and others whose names I didn't recognize helped me every time I asked for help. Whether it was me not being able to turn on the TV, or there was a huge scorpion outside my room, or I urgently needed laundry, they always helped promptly. The staff is pleasant to talk to; everyone is smiling, tactful, and ”in their element.” At breakfast, in the bar, by the pool, in the lobby, at reception, in the spa, and even the drivers in the car—everyone is very pleasant! 7) General. The hotel is located on a clean beach, near the pier. After the taxi, a minicar will meet you and take you to reception, then to your room. You can rent a bike and ride around the island. There is a place for volleyball. I liked the hotel perfectly; I promised to come back again! It's a shame you can't stay with children during high season, but that's the hotel's policy. Everything is done to ensure a quiet and relaxing stay for guests. 🤷🏻♀️There are three separate, comfortable areas for smokers. Smoking is prohibited on the terraces. The only minor drawback for me was the forks. They were so uncomfortable that I wanted to buy a plastic fork and eat with it. We will definitely come back here! I recommend it 100%!! 👌❣️"

"Here’s a more polished and natural version of your review: ⸻ The hotel is perfectly located in Long Beach and makes an excellent base for a relaxing stay in Krabi, away from the crowds. Although the property is quite large, it never feels overcrowded or overwhelming, even when it’s busy. It’s also within walking distance of many fantastic restaurants. The staff is wonderful, and the lady at the tour desk deserves a special mention. She is incredibly efficient, helpful, and genuinely kind. A few things to keep in mind: • The WiFi connection is unreliable, so if you’re planning to work during your stay, make sure you have a good eSIM or mobile data backup. • The rooms feel a bit outdated, which is especially noticeable in details like worn towels. • The toiletries provided are of low quality, so you may want to bring your own. Overall, it’s a great option for a peaceful stay in Krabi with an excellent location and friendly service."

"Hotel has a great location and the beach is just amazing. Rooms are clean and the staff was always very helpful. I also loved that they have yoga classes (at extra cost) 3 times a week, and the teacher is amazing, the space they have for the classes is right on the beach, making the stay at the hotel so much more enjoyable. You can sit on the beach and watch the amazing sunset...The only bad thing is breakfast does not include a good coffee. If you need a coffee in the mornings, you might consider not getting a deal including breakfast, instead go to Escape Cafe right next door and have a great coffee and breakfast as well."

"If you like mountain this resort is perfect hide away, there was a small beach but there were many rocks underneath. I wouldn’t call it 5 stars maybe I have stayed in 5 stars luxury resort likes Rayana Resort and Spa . I trusted Avani + brand because I stayed in Avani+ Bangkok before that’s why I chose this. The Resort itself was great for hidden away from the crowds however it felt lack of character and didn’t feel touch or wow when I walked in . The staff looked cold and uncomfortable. I didn’t get my room done until evening I guess when low season they didn’t have enough staffs. I didn’t mind but I felt weird when the housekeeper asked me if I wanted my bed done . If I ever go back to Koh Lanta I wouldn’t stay here again it is not quite relaxing much. TV is not smart TV and even cable channels were terrible 😂 Breakfast was just okay and little boring after second night. It was just experience to stay."

"The staff are courteous and helpful. As soon as I arrived, I noticed the mattress was sagging and uncomfortable, and they immediately offered to replace it with a new one. The location is excellent if you want to be close to shops, services, and the walking street. The hotel is a bit dated but has a beautiful sea view, though the beach isn't directly accessible from the hotel. The tide goes out, making it perfect for a lovely sunset stroll in the evening. The sheets were clean, but the pillows less so; they had a very strong smell, and I had to put a towel over them to cover it. We didn't use the pool because we rented a scooter and explored the island, which has beautiful, secluded beaches. However, we did notice that the pool area was very crowded (the sun loungers), but it was clean. We understand that the price was in line with the quality of the property. The breakfast is plentiful and varied. Overall, it's a great hotel if you want to save some money and be close to amenities."

"We stayed at rawi warin for 4 nights in one of the hillside rooms. The room was spacious with a small balcony. The bed in particular felt huge as it was 2 beds pushed together. As other reviews mention, the hillside rooms are about a 10 mins walk away from the main pool. Walking is quite pleasant though as you are surrounded by greenery. And there's a closer hillside pool that has a great view. The facilities were great esp. the main pool which was huge, chlorine free, and very empty past 6pm - we were often the only ones using it in the evening. Also enjoyed the table tennis and pool tables. My only piece of feedback is that the resort could be better lit at night - it was too dark walking down paths/stairs. Loved seeing lizards and monkeys around the resort. Didn't try the hotel food much - there are some good restaurants a short walk away. The stretch of beach attached to the resort was beautiful and good for swimming."

"The reviews giving this place give stars as their favorite place are a bit overzealous. The views are definitely spectacular but the deficits aren't lacking. The pros do not justify this hotel; simply that ko lanta is a great destination. Keep in mind: there is no lotion nor conditioner here: curly hair, especially type 4, will suffer. The is no washcloth, phone in the rooms, nor hot tub. Wifi is guarded more than the nuclear football, rooms are certainly worn, there are no USB outlets. For couples: there are definitely young kids here who will never remember the trip, so you may hear crying during breakfast or when trying to get a massage. The maids are neglectful at replacing room amenities, the safe is broken and this place is not vegan friendly. They served me egg in the first dish ordered after recommending I simply let their restaurant know. I did not get the impression that they really understand how to handle dietary needs. The restaurant is awfully overpriced and the food is okay if you even trust the restaurant. Breakfast I stuck to fruit only... I had to go into town for food; Drunken Sailor tasted amazing. Staff friendliness could use improvement. They could at least try to hide their disdain for tourists better. This is expressed with body language and also verbally as we were told false information more than once, when greetings don't even preface with a hello and when staff prioritize chatting with each other rather than assisting a guest. When I asked for Sfiff's name, since nobody wears name badges nor introduces themselves.. to properly greet her. She acted like I was asking for her first born son! They conveniently don't mention that due to Ramadan, there's closed shops and you have to rent a bike to reach the nearest one. That would have saved an hour of time. If you opt in to the hotel taxi service, it will take 3 hours to reach the hotel at 3,000 baht one way. No food or water after a long flight and travel were provided, so please get it from the airport. Google ”Mun Lanta” taxi for 2200 baht taxi via Whatsapp, where they also provide food and water. Furthermore, the system to rent a motorbike is convoluted as you will incur late fees if not returned in time. Why not simply charge for the actual time instead of playing games with late fees and guesstimating return time? This hotel is far overpriced. Get something for half the price, rent a motorbike in town to access better restaurants and the same street. That's my STRONG recommendation."

A lovely small, family-run hotel that is spotlessly clean with very friendly and helpful staff. The room was spacious and well-kept, with a kettle and complimentary tea/coffee replenished daily during housekeeping. Its location is excellent, with restaurants and shops just outside the door and also only a 15-minute walk into Saladan. The only minor downside for me was that the bed was a little firm, but overall it was a wonderful stay.

Upon arrival at Lanta Triple Novel, we were warmly greeted by the owner, who was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. His hospitality truly made us feel at home, assisting us with everything we needed. We stayed in the bungalows, which were spacious and well-equipped. There was a clothes drying rack inside and another on the porch—this was the first hotel where we had ample space to dry our clothes. The porch was furnished with plastic chairs and a table, perfect for relaxing outdoors. The bungalow featured a small kitchenette accessible from the porch through a side door, which is convenient if you're planning a longer stay. Inside, there was a small plastic wardrobe for storing clothes and a mini-fridge. The only thing missing was a table and two chairs inside the room, which would have added to the comfort. The air conditioning was strong and kept the room cool. The location was very quiet, allowing us to rest peacefully. The only minor inconvenience was during heavy rain when the metal roof became quite loud. We rented a scooter from the owner at a decent price, making it easy to explore the island. Although there's a restaurant as part of the hotel, we didn't have the time to dine there. Originally, we planned to stay for three days but ended up extending our stay to four because we enjoyed it so much. The location is perfect—it's close to the beach, and there's a 7-Eleven just around the corner where you can get everything you need for your stay. It's a 4-minute drive to Saladan Pier, so you'll have an easy time catching ferries or speedboats for further travel. Overall, our experience at Lanta Triple Novel was excellent. The friendly owner, comfortable accommodations, and convenient location made our stay memorable. The house is clean, the bedding is comfortable, the boss is very attentive and considerate, and the recommendations are all good. The facilities need to be improved. There is no hair dryer or kettle. You have to ask for it before you can get it. It feels so strange. Is there a hair dryer for washing hair? Why bother? The deposit of 1,000 is also strange. I stayed in 6 hotels during the whole trip, and this is the only one that requires a deposit. It may be due to the peak season. I booked a room on Ctrip. 8 Chairman Mao tickets for one night are too expensive and do not match the facilities. I think 4 or 5 tickets are OK.

There are many good things about this hotel: - located close to the Saladan Pier where the boats dock, and just next door to the night market that offers food and shopping - welcoming and helpful staff (the hotel has no elevator, but the receptionist offered himself to carry my bag to the second floor - free use of washing machine on the rooftop, all you need is buy a detergent in the supermarket nearby (5 baht) - small kitchen if you would wish to prepare some food of your own - vivid lobby brightened up by graffiti, with free water and a small library - rooftop terrace with a hammock, with sadly not spectacular view (the roof of the market is quite unappealing - some graffiti artist should cover that too ;)) What could be improved? - big bed is actually two twin beds connected together. Also, they are wrapped in that plastic which you can feel under the sheets :( - I felt the cleanliness of the room could be on a higher level, especially floors and bathroom - no handsoap in the bathroom (I used the shower gel, but even that one was fixed for the wall, so it doesnt get stolen, I guess?) - just two big towels per room (no small towels, or a floor towel) - even when at maximum, water temperature never gets hot or truly warm - the hotel looks a bit run down, and could use some facelifting. There are holes in the floor of the common area, the bathroom seems unfinished, with exposed walls and some ventilation openings plugged with - plastic bags? - i think key deposit of 500 baht is such an unneeded nuisance in these modern times - cant they just charge you if you lose it?

Wonderful find. I spent hours trying to find rhe right place and I did. Rim Khao is a lovely little group of bungalows that back into the forest, but are conveniently on the main road and just a 10 minute walk from the beach. This is a brilliant place for a really good price. I spent hours watching the monkeys, ants, lizards, frogs, birds and butterflies that were very present. As I had no transport and only a walking budget, was limited where I went. But there was enough. The beach is beautiful for swimming and sunbathing. There is little shade, but if you walk to the end of the beach, theres a lot more shade there. If tou are happy to scramble the rocks, there is plenty of wildlife there too....fish, a billion crabs and brazen seabirds.there are plenty of restaurants, both local and tourist all just a stones throw away and the walking street is as good as any. The room was very quiet with air con and a fan that were efficient. The hot water was plentiful in the shower and cleaners were operating every day. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and English was really strong which of course is always appreciated , but never expected. The pool is more of a plunge pool, but thats all i personally ever need. You may consider it needs a bit of tlc, but it didnt bother me. The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, and the road could barely be heard.just remember that the call to prayer can be heard almost everywhere. Oh, and a 7/eleven right next door. Amazing, and i hope to go back.

We stayed here in what was the peak season…many resorts and hotels were sold out in Ko Lanta. The staff are all friendly and genuinely will help and be kind if you are respectful and kind too. The location is perfect. Right in front of the beach and close to cafes, restaurants and local eateries as well as 7/11. The hotel itself has so much potential but it is looking very tired and run down. We stayed in a room that should have had a pool view but all we saw was trees. The room did smell a bit musty at first but this soon disappeared with the smell of sunscreen, and personal fragrances. Previous reviews people wrote about the old, musty towels. This is true. They smell musty, old and are tired looking (bring your own if you can). The beach loungers in front of the pool were perfect each day but it’s a real hit and miss game of who can “bags” a lounger first. Many tourist staying at the hotel would place their towels on the loungers first thing in the morning and wouldn’t even be seen on the loungers until after lunch. In my opinion, the hotel staff need to change this and man it in a different way during peak season. Too many entitled people thinking they own the sun loungers because their shoes were placed next to them 🙄🙄 Overall, if you’re looking for somewhere to rest your head at night, with hot showers, friendly staff, okay breakfast options and mostly clean premises this resort is good. If your more of a person who prefers to spend time inside their resort and looks forward to all the extra amenities then I suggest you try somewhere else 😬

We traveled as a family with young children and stayed at Chomview Koh Lanta. The room was spacious and big enough to comfortably accommodate four people, which was very convenient for our family. However, there were several issues during our stay. The walkway to the room had no lighting at night, which felt unsafe, especially when traveling with children. We also experienced water shortages, and the room had an unpleasant smell coming from the toilet. The location is quite far from the main road, so transportation is necessary to get around. This may not be convenient for families without their own vehicle. On a positive note, the staff hospitality was good and they were friendly and helpful. Overall, the hotel has good room size and kind staff, but improvements are needed in maintenance, lighting, and water supply.
