"We chose SOOK Hotel for one night in Ranong during our rental car road trip from Bangkok to Phuket, and we were very happy with our choice. The hotel is beautifully designed, making you feel comfortable right from the start. The rooms are very comfortable, with large and very cozy beds. The air conditioning works perfectly, and the rooms are clean with separate wet and dry areas. There's ample parking right in front of the hotel. The location is also very central, with restaurants, cafes, natural hot springs, and attractions all within close proximity. During our stay, the public park, just a 10-minute walk from the hotel, in front of the Rattanarangsan Palace (a historical teakwood replica), was beautifully lit up at night. If you're passing through Ranong and looking for good accommodation at a fair price, we can highly recommend SOOK Hotel."

"This was my second stay at the hotel, and overall it was a pleasant experience. The location is excellent—very convenient to get around and explore the area. The staff were friendly and provided good service throughout my stay. One downside is that the soundproofing in the room could be improved, as noise can be heard at times. On a positive note, the hotel offers complimentary tea, coffee, snacks, and bananas at the lobby, which is a nice touch. Overall, it’s a good stay and I would consider coming back again."

"Looking at the photos, it looked like there was an old and a new building, so I booked a ”Superior Twin Room (Main Building).” It was actually quite different from the photos, but I still had a comfortable stay. There were no problems with the amount of water and temperature in the shower, and the bathroom was kept reasonably clean. Considering the price, the service was quite satisfactory. Ranong has several hot springs, and I think it's a great tourist destination for Japanese hot spring lovers. It was a very fond memory."

"I and my father came to Ranong for some errands and wanted to try staying somewhere new for a change. This hotel is located in the city centre, making it very convenient for getting around, and it also offers parking, which is why I decided to stay at The Galla. However, upon check-in, we found that the air conditioner wasn’t working. After putting up with the heat for about half an hour, we decided to inform the staff. The hotel sincerely apologised for the inconvenience and immediately offered to move us to the new room, or provide a full refund if we preferred to move to another place. We were very impressed with how quickly and efficiently they handled the situation. We would definitely consider staying here again if we return to Ranong"

"We had a great stay in this family hotel run with great kindness and attention to travelers. We felt at home and it was really enjoyable for us who travel as a family with a backpack. The rooms are very clean, large, functional, quiet with very comfortable bedding. Little touches are left available (coffee, water, chips). The breakfasts are cooked locally, plentiful and personalized. The managers and their boy tried to make our days easier by finding us local taxis for our travels. Really, we were pampered :-) an address that we recommend with our eyes closed to all those who wish to stay in Ranong for a night or more (we stayed there for 3 nights and took a day trip to the island of Koh Phayam), especially for families. Thank you for this very appreciated interlude ❤️."

"This is actually a lovely hotel with an ambitious 1990s design, an infinity pool on the roof, spacious rooms, and good art on the walls. My main issue was the noise from the poorly maintained air conditioning units, which apparently weren't properly insulated from the building and produced a loud humming sound throughout the evening and night. Someone really needs to address that; sleeping without earplugs is impossible. I also found it disappointing that I couldn't even get a coffee at the hotel in the morning, let alone breakfast, as the hotel's cafe only opened in the late afternoon. The hotel really has charm and great potential."

"The hotel is very well located, very close to the main street. The room was large with a small balcony. The pool is nice, although it only has a few sun loungers (just 3). The breakfast is also very good. Communication with the staff is difficult as they speak little English; I even wrote an email but never received a reply."

GGuest UserGreat spot and a nice little cabin style accommodation. Bathroom was open around the edges but not too many mossy s came in that way. There was a lot of mossy s around when opening the front door. The room had aircon and a fan, fridge hairdryer and kettle. No coffee or tea sachets provided. Breakfast was good with a selection on 2 days from the buffet and then last day alacarte. Great spot on beach. A lot of places seemed to be closed due to low season.

AadsoGot here in peak season everywhere was booked out I had pre-booked on line for only 1 night the owner was amazing when we got here he said we can stay an extra night we was so happy he also rented us a brand new scoopy for only 200 baht a day.And he also arranged cheaper speed boat back to mainland.Was very happy with what the owner had done for us great man.

ZZhongjiwujianThe ambiance is worth the price. Lanón is indeed a very small city. This hotel is located in the city center. There are several restaurants on the street in front of the hotel; although I didn't eat there, the buffet looked extremely crowded.

PppkaThe room is clean, big, the bed is big and comfortable, there is a balcony, there is a sink for washing dishes, it is worth the money. There is a songthaew passing in front of the apartment, opposite there is a restaurant, a very delicious rice soup restaurant, there is enough parking space. If I go to Ranong again, I will definitely stay here again.

GGuest UserIt's just a very cheap hotel, so you can't expect the world. The room is OK, everything you need for a short stay, small balcony, hot water, TV, but the internet is super slow. The staff are pretty unfriendly, but I don't want to go out to eat with them. There's free coffee, water and a little cake downstairs. The bars opposite can be annoying at night, but whatever. Definitely better than Nalin Place!!

DDoc o the BayVery friendly staff. Unfortunately when we booked their website said ‘Queen Room’ - weren’t expecting a tent. The facilities were fine with power, private toilet & shower next to your tent. The very reasonable price was too good to be true. If I had have known the rooms were tents & I was on a budget I would stay there no worries.
