Although a stretch, one of the reasons we bought this quirky property was because it reminded us of our travels to the Amalfi coast: steep cliffs, fast cars and a short trek to the water....IYKYK. Our home is well situated. It has lake access, a private dock and two kayaks for your enjoyment (must wear life jackets). ( Dock is not set up for motor boats) Its walking distance to the LakeHouse Restaurant and Crystal Beach, a mile from the Taproom at LB Restaurant and Neshobe Beach. A kayak ride from all of those as well as Bomoseen State Park. 7 minutes to the town of Castleton, 10 minutes to the train station, 20 minutes to Rutland, 30 minutes to Middlebury, 40 minutes to both Killington and Okemo/Jackson Gore ski areas.
