This custom built home sits just steps from the lake with a dock space and swimming area. Spend your days enjoying the lake views and sunsets on the wrap around porch and use the open floor plan for family gatherings. This home is meticulously maintained and offers year-round living for all four seasons. There is plenty of room for your family and friends. Close to Killington (45 min), Okemo (45 min), Rutland (20 min) and more!The property has a dock, swimming/fishing area, deck, front porch, ground floor deck, fire pit, grill, outdoor dining and seating access to tons of biking and hiking trails, and views of the lake with beautiful sunsets. The building is a historical landmark known as The Dog built in 1903 with modern electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling. This is a comfortable well lit studio. The boat slip is across the street and can accommodate up to a 20ft boat. We have completely renovated the building and furnished the units with modern appliances. Our home is well situated. It has lake access, a private dock and two kayaks for your enjoyment (must wear life jackets). ( Dock is not set up for motor boats) Its walking distance to the LakeHouse Restaurant and Crystal Beach, a mile from the Taproom at LB Restaurant and Neshobe Beach. A kayak ride from all of those as well as Bomoseen State Park. 7 minutes to the town of Castleton, 10 minutes to the train station, 20 minutes to Rutland, 30 minutes to Middlebury, 40 minutes to both Killington and Okemo/Jackson Gore ski areas.
