"The lady at the hotel front desk was wonderful. I checked in at night, and I was worried because I had lost my ID at the high-speed rail station, but they managed to sort it out in the end. The room was very clean. Since I also work in the hotel industry, the first thing I did was inspect it, and everything was great. There wasn't a single fingerprint or smudge on the full-length mirror, which I was very pleased with. It's near the airport but not noisy at all; the soundproofing is excellent. My friend and I came to climb a snowy mountain and saw this hotel near the airport, so we booked it. My friend said the bedding was very comfortable, but personally, I didn't care for the scent of the toiletries. I just didn't like the smell. In the morning, the breakfast was absolutely delicious. When I went to get some ice cream, I noticed there wasn't any staff around. I looked around, and a young man immediately came over. The restaurant staff were all very polite, and extra empty plates were cleared away promptly. One lady, in particular, was so nice; she was clearing a table nearby, and when I asked her for a fork, she immediately stopped what she was doing and quickly went to get it for me. When I left, she even said goodbye to me at the restaurant entrance, which was very polite, even though I don't know her name. Sichuan is beautiful; if I come again next time, I will definitely stay at this hotel. One more thing: the scent in the hotel lobby and the guest room corridors is absolutely lovely. "This is a must-stay hotel if you're flying into Tianfu Airport. The best part is you don't even have to leave the airport; just follow the signs from the transportation hub's connecting corridor, and you'll be there in a few minutes. Check-in was quick, and the room numbers are separated by odd and even, so you don't have to wander around aimlessly searching for your room. The soundproofing is excellent; you can't hear any planes taking off or landing. Breakfast was delicious and had a wide variety of options."

The handsome guys and pretty girls at the front desk were especially nice; we bought three breakfasts, and seeing there were four of us, they gave us an extra one. We were so grateful! The airport transfer service was excellent; we even got to grab some breakfast before heading to the airport for our early international flight. When we arrived at night, there was hot water, coffee, and tea available."

"I wouldn't recommend it, and here's why: 1. **Noise**: The constant roar of planes taking off and landing kept me up all night; it really affected my sleep. 2. **Soundproofing**: The room's sound insulation was terrible. From 5 AM onwards, there was non-stop noise in the hallway, including children shouting. I could also clearly hear people talking on the street below. 3. **Breakfast**: The restaurant is large, but it was packed with tour groups, shoulder to shoulder. It felt more like a chaotic feast than a relaxed breakfast. 4. **Hotel Condition**: The flooring in the room was buckling and bulging at the edges, making a creaking sound every time I stepped on it. In summary: Don't be fooled by the four-star rating. I'd suggest staying a bit further out at a hotel like Orange Hotel or Atour; a taxi ride wouldn't take long at all."

"They offer a free airport shuttle service, which was great because my family arrived in the middle of the night and the hotel picked them up without a problem. I was very satisfied with that. The hotel room was clean, tidy, and comfortable with full amenities and excellent air conditioning. They even turned the AC on for us in advance! The surroundings are also nice, with lots of restaurants nearby, so you can find anything you want to eat, which is super convenient. The driver's service was excellent; he even helped with our luggage. Overall, very satisfied! 👍"

"The hotel is located in the new district of Jianyang, which feels like a hotel cluster. There's also a tourist street nearby with plenty of local food and specialties you can buy. Funnily enough, I used to work in Chengdu for a year, and I remember local specialties like Zhang Fei Beef. This time, I discovered 'Dog Poop Candy' here, which was quite good! It's a bit like the peanut brittle from my hometown in Hubei, but less sweet and with a softer texture. It's very close to Chengdu Tianfu Airport, and the hotel offers a free shuttle service. I arrived at T2 and got on the shuttle at Gate 21. The ride was about 30 minutes. I also noticed that the hotel's shuttle seems to be the last one in the pickup sequence, so once you board, you can leave right away without stopping at other hotels to pick up more people. The shuttle departs on the hour for airport drop-offs, and on the half-hour for airport pickups at Tianfu Airport. For example, I got on the shuttle at 10:30 AM at the airport, which was perfect – I only waited 5 minutes. I was the only one being picked up at that time, so I had an entire tour bus to myself. There was a row of BBQ stalls across the street from the hotel in the evening, but I didn't have time to try them. To save time when I first arrived, I ordered takeout – a bowl of noodles for 22 RMB, which felt quite expensive. It might be because the surrounding area caters mostly to tourists, making things relatively pricier. In the evening, I had Jianyang lamb soup, half a catty, with two small pancakes, totaling 68 RMB. This is comparable to city prices, even a bit more expensive than some cities in the central and western regions. But the taste was good! The hotel's breakfast was a bit simple but sufficient. The room facilities were relatively new, and it was quite comfortable to stay in. I often saw foreigners in the lobby and elevators, which suggests this hotel really is a tourist hub. Holiday Inn is a global hotel group, so perhaps foreigners trust the brand, leading to more of them staying here. I suspect many people might stop over here when visiting Chengdu, using it as a base before heading into the city for sightseeing. The only downside is that the hotel is a bit far from Jianyang's old town, so you'd need a taxi if you wanted to visit and explore the old area."

"The space is large and the equipment is complete. The service attitude is good and the sense of proactive service is strong. It can be delivered to Jianyang South Station and can be picked up and dropped off. The service girl saw that I was not able to move easily and took the initiative to help me get my luggage to the car. Thank you."

"Perfect for travellers who had early flight to catch, as hotel provide stress free shuttle van services, only 15 mins already arriving Tianfu airport. Although it is contena box, but it assemble well as a spacious hotel room, with nice heater bed, big screen projector etc, only downside is the door is quite difficult to open n close, almost need to slam the door to close properly. I trust that all guests will appreciate more if hotel can provide take away breakfast box for early travellers who r not able to hv their breakfast due to their flight time."

"Positive - Overall a very nice hotel with spacious/luxurious rooms and ideal location if you are in transit or need to be close to the airport - Breakfast was amazing (11/10) - There is a nice (bit more western) cafe (open until 21:00 I think) and a supermarket - The facilities such as the swimming pool (make sure to check opening hours!) and the fitness are a big bonus! Very nice and tidy. Negative - Difficult communication with hotel people. 1) They did not find my booking and acted like they did not know trip.com (?!) even though in the hotel room itself there was an advertisment on trip.com (lol). 2) They also told me that swimming was not included in my reservation and I had to pay extra. I had to reach out to trip.com and luckily everything got sorted because it should have been included… Shout out to the customer service of trip.com who resolved this matter quicky and professionally 3) I got a smoking room even though I reserved a non smoking. But honestly at this point and due to high difficulty of communication you have to choose your battles. (I think the issues summed up were due to the fact that they did not find my reservation…) 4) When I wanted to ask where the swimming pool was (since no english speaking people you did not really get information on these things - you have to figure it out yourself), some people were cutting the line and even when I just let it be and waited patiently another person just moved me aside. Hotel people did nothing but honestly this was the least issue of all. 5) at the end of my trip they were probably were so fed up with this foreigner (aka me) that they were not friendly at the check out. - Very bad wifi (you maybe can check your emails or use basic apps but the network is weak protected)."
