"This stay was truly a poor experience. The front desk staff weren't bad, but their professionalism was severely lacking. Many staff members seemed like interns, giving uncertain answers to every question and offering almost no clear explanations. The room was cold, and toiletries were incomplete, even conditioner was missing. Cleanliness and comfort were also disappointing; the towels were of mediocre quality and not soft enough. Overall, the stay was far below what one would expect for this price range. Even more outrageous, for a Novotel, this hotel's actual experience was worse than some more basic business hotels. I was assigned a room at the end of the corridor with a poor view, suggesting that the quality of the room assigned is rather random unless you specifically request it. Overall, the value for money is low, and I would not recommend it."

"The hotel is next to the zoo and the train station, and the location is very convenient. It's a hotel with a very period feel. The rooms are heated and very comfortable in winter. Because the shelf is relatively high, the room looks spacious. Compared with many European hotels, the room size is quite large. The hotel has a parking lot, which costs 18 euros a night, which is more convenient for self-driving."

"This hotel is somewhat hidden away in a beautiful part of southern Germany. It's full of charm, with comfortable rooms (with spectacular pastoral views of the wooded hills around Waldbronn). Unfortunately Cedric's, the Michelin-starred restaurant was closed the night I was at the hotel, but Pur, the hotel's other, somewhat less fancy, restaurant was open -- and the meal there was outstanding. The staff was gracious and welcoming, and although my stay was only so that I could visit the nearby village where my great-grandmother had been born in 1870, I hope I'll have the opportunity to go back and stay for a few more days. Highly recommended!"

"Another good experience , wet ave stayed her about three or four times now and it's always pleasant , the great thin about the Styles is teh consistency of product, we really enjoy staying here , it's basic but it has everything you need, if you are running late you can get something simple to eat at the bar along with a drink, breakfast is good and its a short walk into Ettlingen which is a lovely city. A spacial thanks to Sabina who saved the day with my reservation"

"Overall good, the price/quality ratio! But how is it possible that the parking lot is full? People, the hotel is located on an industrial estate and many people who work in the area stay here. They all come to B&B Bruchsal by car and not on foot! Proposal: take a closer look at the parking lot and create space for more parking spaces. This is possible; a different landscaping layout needs to be created so that additional parking spaces can be added where trees/shrubs currently stand. P.S. that generates more revenue for you (€10 per car per day), which you are currently partly giving away to the neighbors! Here is some free advice please! Normally this is a bit more expensive with us, so do something with it! Kind regards, Raoul Claessen"

"Free parking. Room is clean and just nice. There's a small kitchen but without any cooking tools so unless you're bringing cooking tools, you can't cook. It is out of nowhere and it looks like a conversion of office building to hotel rooms. I have no issue with it and it worked out for me."

"Excellent! My wife and I checked into the "Hotel am Markt" on April 23rd/24th, 2022 for a short trip with friends. Check-in was absolutely smooth and quick, the staff at the reception on the 4th floor were very nice and accommodating. Our room (208) was very nice with a direct view of the Karlsruhe market square (pyramid). Thanks to the high-quality curtains, the windows could be completely darkened, which prevented us from waking up early in the daylight. The bathroom was also sparkling clean! So no signs of mold or other discoloration, which are often found in hotels there. Since the hotel is in a pedestrian zone, you can park in the "Schloßplatz" parking garage, which is a three-minute walk away, for a reasonable 8 euros per day. The hotel also impresses with its central location, so that everything you need in Karlsruhe can be reached on foot within a short time. If someone misses the breakfast offered by the hotel, there is a bakery right next to the entrance. New for us was a self-check-in machine at the entrance, which we did not need due to our online booking. ********************************************* Edit: We made good on our threat on June 18th, 2022 and stayed at the Hotel am Markt again. Here, too, checking in was absolutely problem-free and the receptionist was very friendly and accommodating. This time our room was 204, which faced Karl-Friedrich-Straße. Once again, the room was in perfect and clean condition. Due to the summer temperatures, a column fan was also provided in the room, which we saw as a nice service. All in all, our impression of the Hotel am Markt was confirmed again. ********************************************* Repeat offender: We stayed at the Hotel am Park again on February 24th/25th, 2024. Booked in advance online, this time we checked in and paid using the machine at the entrance. Based on our experience from last time, we deliberately chose a room facing the "inner courtyard" for a small surcharge. Our room (this time 211) had a large and bright bathroom."

Very clean throughout the hotel and rooms. Very nice, and I'll return for a three-night stay. There are restaurants right outside the station for dinner. A fantastic choice."

"Wish we could have stayed much longer. Such a beautiful huge room and as I hate all modern square clinical places without character, no matter how many mod cons, this Hotel was super cosy. Please, it is not the Ritz but you don’t pay Ritz prices except our room would have commanded such prices a few decades ago. Beautiful furniture, radio and speakers built into the lovely wooden headboard and many more features. For me it was bliss. Breakfast in a lovely sunny conservatory was superb. Anything one could possibly want. The choice was huge. Staff were extremely helpful from reception to waiting personnel. We had fun in next door’s Brauhaus. You drink the beer brewed on site. Such a quirky place. Lovely atmosphere and plenty of typical German fare. The Hotel is very central and in walking distance to the castle. Otherwise, Karlsruhe has a fantastic tram transport system. We will be back for as long as its unique characteristic is not destroyed by modern sterile planning. Long may it survive!"
