"This used to be an old mansion owned by a high-ranking official, which the current owners have beautifully renovated into a guesthouse and museum. The museum part vividly showcases the living conditions of a prominent family decades ago, and it's truly amazing to see. The guesthouse's interior design is equally stunning; not only are the design, materials, and furnishings incredibly tasteful, but all the renovation work is also executed with exceptional craftsmanship. The mattress, pillows, and bedding are all very comfortable. The soft services are impeccable too – the staff are warm, attentive, and even offer pick-up and drop-off services. The breakfast and afternoon tea are of excellent quality. And the night view from the balcony is simply picture-perfect!"

The hotel is linked to the mall with convenient store that opens 24 hours. Check In and Check Out were smoith and efficient. Miss FengFangQi and her other colleagues assisted very well. Next time we are in Kashgar, we definitely will stay in this hotel again."

"There were bloodstains on the sheets. When I called the cleaning staff, they were very rude and accused me of making them. They said that they do housework every day and there's no way bloodstains could be on the sheets, and that we made them ourselves. It was obvious the bloodstains were from a long time ago. The front desk asked the cleaning staff to change the sheets, but they refused and were extremely rude. Finally, I said I would give them a bad review, and only then did they agree to change my room. In the end, I didn't want to stay any longer and checked out late at night. I used to stay at this hotel regularly and thought it was quite good, but this time I was very disappointed. I recommend checking the cleanliness of the entire room before checking in."

"The outside temperature was three degrees and the hotel did not provide heating. I woke up with a cold. When I arrived in Ta County, all my friends went to play and I was waiting in the car. The Lavande Hotel was very harmful. The shower gel was in an empty bottle and I could only use it when taking a shower. Just use shampoo."
JI Hotel (Kashgar Ancient City Scenic Area Commercial Pedestrian Street)
"I arrived around 8 AM and they were able to check me in early, which was nice. However, when I was about to rest at noon, there was a sudden power outage, followed by the power coming back on, which completely fried my laptop charger! I was assigned a room at the end of the tenth floor, right next to an emergency exit. There was also some kind of fan noise from the rooftop above. Around 5 PM, the power went out again. I was in the middle of an online meeting and called the front desk at least 10 times, but no one answered. The power was out for half an hour, with no notification from the front desk, and no explanation given afterward. When I checked out, the three staff members at the front desk were cold and completely lacked any service awareness. They didn't even say a word. If you can't communicate, you shouldn't be in the service industry! Cleanliness: Standard. Environment: So-so. Service: Non-existent!!!!"

With EV charging stations, self-service laundry, and a gym, the amenities are comprehensive, making for a very comfortable stay. Highly recommended."

"The hotel is relatively new and clean. My friend and I were very satisfied with our stay. It turns out that not all king-size rooms are small. Our room on the first floor is small, but the one on the second floor is not small. The ladies at the front desk are all very nice and responsive. The hotel's small electric tricycle is also very powerful. It helped us transport a lot of things out of the ancient city to the entrance of Han Bazaar. By the way, Jingdong in Kashgar is very easy to use, and basically everything can be delivered the next day."
Mercure Kashgar (Gucheng Scenic Area)
"The room was tiny and quite outdated. The only good thing was the location. The service, however, was absolutely appalling. It was a complete farce: I booked a 'Family Room with Ancient City View' on Trip.com, which should have a large bed and a single bed. Upon arrival, the front desk told me that while they used to have that room type, they've since removed the single bed, so now it's just a double bed. They then suggested they'd just give me a 'family room' so I wouldn't have to wait for them to add an extra bed.... Seriously, are you kidding me?!?! I booked a 'Family Room with Ancient City View' on Trip.com, so that's the room type I expect to get. You can't just tell me there's no single bed when I arrive and then randomly assign me a family room. If you don't have this room type, why is it still listed on Trip.com? The front desk staff even said it in a way that made it sound like they were doing me a huge favor, saving me the wait for an extra bed so I could check in directly, as if I was getting some amazing deal???? Why didn't you mention the price difference between a 'view room' and a 'family room'? Rooms with a view are more expensive, so shouldn't you refund me the difference? The front desk completely ignored that point and kept saying there was nothing special to see in the ancient city anyway... It's not up to the hotel staff to decide whether a view is worth seeing or not. They just wanted to cut corners and fob me off with a regular family room. Is this really how a hotel operates? And this is Mercure, which is supposed to be a higher-tier brand within the Huazhu Group. Is this the standard of service? Then, when they realized I wasn't easily appeased, they told me to wait while they added the extra bed. I waited at the front desk for over half an hour. When I asked when I could check in, they told me to wait longer, as they were making the bed. Eventually, I couldn't wait anymore and called Trip.com. Within ten minutes of Trip.com's intervention, someone came and directly assigned me a room. When I went up again, the bed had just been placed – just the mattress, no bedding! I had to wait again for them to make the bed.... It was unbelievable, over an hour wasted in total. I've always felt that Mercure has poor management and a lack of service awareness. This particular hotel shares a building with Orange Hotel and Grand Mercure (Qianji), occupying different floors, with Mercure on the higher floors. In the evening, we bought a cantaloupe and told a staff member our room number, asking them to cut it for us. We waited an hour, and no one came. We had to call the front desk again before someone finally arrived. The breakfast the next morning was quite varied, but the hygiene was concerning. All the plates had water on them, and there was a hair in the bowl of bean curd skin in the noodle soup area. That hair stayed there from when I started breakfast until I went to get more fruit, and no one did anything about it...."
