📍 Pahlavon Mahmud 33, Khiva

"Nice and easy place to stay. Walkable to all locations. Nice and friendly host that promote and share the nice food to have nearby. Great place."

Arkanchi Hotel

Arkanchi Hotel ★★★★

📍 Pahlavon Mahmud 10, Khiva

"The location was good, however the bathroom in my room smelt very bad, getting worse on my second day. Additionally the shower head holder was broken. The breakfast was also not that good. Otherwise the room was comfortable enough, however I wouldve expected a bit more attention to detail for the price"

📍 Farovonlik 1, Khiva

"The room was incredibly spacious, I could literally do a Pamela (dance workout) session in it! Breakfast was abundant and delicious, with hot food options too. Although it's 2km from the old town, the hotel provides a convenient on-demand shuttle service. There's also a pool, and the water looked quite clean. We had a really good rest."

Darvaza Boutique Hotel Khiva ★★★★

📍 Xiva Koshona street, Kalta Minor Mahalla, 75/1, Khiva

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The service was excellent from the very beginning: the staff was always kind, professional, and helpful. The hotel is new, modern, and extremely clean, with great attention to every detail. The location is also perfect, very close to the city walls and convenient for visiting the main attractions. We also really enjoyed the massage experience, which was pleasant and deeply relaxing after a long day of exploring. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and excellent service!"

📍 Abdulla Boltayev, Khiva

"Everything else was fine, except that the ventilation in my double room relied entirely on a small window on the door, which was several meters away from the outside. The odor inside couldn't dissipate at all. If this is a major concern, please carefully consider whether to book. I don't think every room is like this; my room just happened to be in that location."

Zukhro Boutique Hotel
9.2 (41 reviews)

Zukhro Boutique Hotel ★★★

📍 99H5+XGR, Khiva

"Do not hesitate to stay at the Zukhro hotel. It is a family run hotel located within the old city walls. Zukhro is centrally located with beautifully decorated rooms. It has a beautiful terrace with wonderful views of the Ichon Qala. Ali and his cousin at reception are warm and welcoming. Ali speaks excellent English and is very friendly and engaging. This hotel added to a truly wonderful experience in Khiva. "

Farovon Khiva Hotel Hotels in Khiva

Farovon Khiva Hotel

"The service level is definitely not 5-star. Check-in is strictly at 2:00 PM. If you arrive early and don't want to wait an extra couple of hours, you have to pay 50% of the room rate, which is basically what they forced you to do. They even skimped on breakfast, saying you have to pay extra for it. The booking was for $178 per night, but we actually paid $190. There was someone else's hair on the bed. No toothbrushes. The outlet near the bed didn't work. Cheap renovations. Very cheap perfumes, definitely not 5-star quality. The shower barely runs, there's no pressure. The breakfast is okay. The alcohol selection is almost nonexistent."

"Good location between Khiva train station and the old town. Parking is available in front of the hotel. There's also a swimming pool. The rooms are spacious. For a private trip, I would recommend a hotel directly in the old town. A swimming pool is available for the summer."

"We stayed here for one night in April. It was acceptable. The rooms were nice (though the bed was a bit hard). We phoned the front desk because our AC wasn't working, and they came right away to fix it. Though it never got cool in the room. An hour after that service call, we phoned the reception to ask for conditioner, and they said they'd send it up right away - but it never came. The bidet also didn't work properly, but at least they had one. There was a kettle in the room, but no tea or coffee. There were items in the mini fridge, but no indication whether they were free, available for a fee, or left over from past guests. The garbage can in the washroom was full of previous guests' toilet paper "remains", which was rather disgusting. We didn't bother phoning about it, since they didn't bother showing up last time they said they would. The breakfast was acceptable, fairly basic and only one coffee machine for cappucinos etc. so it was a long queue for that. I don't think there are a lot of options in Khiva, so we can recommend this hotel. A few annoyances, but overall it was good."

"It's quite clean and the location is great. Breakfast is decent. However, it can be a bit dark if you're coming back late at night. The biggest drawback, at least for my room (101), was the lack of a refrigerator. Other than that, I'd say it's pretty good."

"Good location in the old city. All attractions are within walking distance. The rooftop terraces provide a good view. Room is small and furnitures are dated, but acceptable, breakfast buffet average with limited selection. Overall not too bad but expensive for what’s on offer."

"The hotel's location is very convenient – it's in the old town, not right in the center, but on the outskirts, yet it's a 3-minute walk to the center. Because of this location, the hotel is quite quiet. We were given a room with a balcony on the second floor, which had a wonderful view of the old town. However, the room and bathroom were very small, and the bed linens were fresh and new. The breakfast was meager and cold, but quite tasty. There was no coffee beans. The hotel has a terrace with beautiful views of the city."

"The hotel is in a good location, located under the east wall of the ancient city of Khiva, with convenient parking, suitable for self-driving travel. The hotel has good sanitary conditions and a good breakfast. It is very convenient to visit the ancient city. The ancient city scenic area is on the right when you go out. The area of the twin room is larger than described, more than 15 square meters, and there is also a large table in the room, which is very convenient for placing things. Overall, this is a very good value for money hotel."

"This hotel is inside the city walls. Being in the room made me feel claustrophobic despite their best efforts with multiple wall hanging etc trying to brighten up this very dark room. There was one small window high above the door and one in the ceiling. The room was entered through a long narrow corridor. Some clients would love this hotel, but it was not for everyone. It was very clean and the bathroom was big and very clean. There was a kettle (no tea or coffee) a fridge and air con. The water pressure very weak. There were good toiletries. There was no water when I returned to my room in the evening, and the water was off again the next morning and during the day. The water in the washbasin and shower was horrible, cloudy and not good quality. The breakfast had a good selection with a hot and cold selection. The staff in the dining area were very grumpy and unhelpful. On the second morning the breakfast was very basic, I was leaving early and they couldn’t be bothered to provide a decent breakfast for those people leaving early. Clearly they didn't want to serve those people leaving early (I only mean 30 mins earlier than the breakfasts normal opening hours!)"

"Stayed here for 1 night. The hotel is in an excellent location to see the sights of the city and plenty of restaurants close by. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful. I reached out beforehand to book drivers and guides. The guide they used for the city tour was fantastic. My room was on the second floor. Very quiet and clean. Bed was comfortable as it had a mattress topper. AC worked well. Good hot water and water pressure. The WiFi worked well inside the room and better outside, but good enough to FaceTime and do work stuff online. I would recommend!"
