"Very easy to find nice looking building the reception is on the 4th floor the lift as reported by many is very slow and the other lift has been refurbished since January 2026 and clearly it's now July it not going to be fixed any time soon. Reception desk is tiny and next to the dining area with a broken bell no one manning the desk saw one member of staff who was trying to do all sorts of different roles checked in room on level three entered the room all looked good saw the slot to enter card so did so then the lights didn't work called the reception number to b put through to a virtual receptionist who was completely useless and finally got through to reception who said they would send someone up after another chasing phone call half a hour later to be told they had the wrong room number finally a man turned up pulled the door car and managed to get the lights to work. Settled down to then realise that we only had one towel so back up to reception to ask for extra one. We didn't eat in the hotel but decided to eat out on touring the area we struggled to find any decent restaurants we found Nando's and a cocktail bar and was informed by other hotel guests of a pub ten mins walk down the canal path. We finally found a lovely Italian called love food Italia it's a six minute walk and the food was outstanding. Tips if you are only parking for the night then use the machine you can only do the night tariff on the machine you cannot do it on ringo. It was a typical premier inn but standards have dipped and you can see the stripping out of staff has made it go down hill but you cannot blame the staff who are trying to do their jobs in difficult circumstances."

"Location is beautiful!. Walked into the Travelodge and was met with a warm, friendly welcome by staff, checked in and went to the room. While walking to the room the hotel seemed very clean throughout, got into our room and noticed straight away just how fresh and clean the room smelt! Wonderful!.... On continued inspection the room, bedding and bathroom were spotless! Very impressed!. All shampo and soaps were topped up, as were the toilet paper. Tea/coffee facilities in the room were plentiful also if you ran out of anything there were spares you could freely pick up in the reception on a table which was a great idea!. There were extra pillows if we needed any already in the room and also a fan. The bedding smelt fresh and clean as did the towels. Great tv with remote control. Not really any noise, just the usual heating others coming out of their rooms but that's it! No shouting nothing. I really cannot fault our stay here!. We stayed for 2 nights. We would absolutely definitely come back here again! As the location is beautiful right next to the watermill pub by the canal. Thank you for such a pleasant stay!. "

"Visiting family in the area and booked the hotel for 3 nights. The room was clean and comfortable with a lovely shower and plenty of hot water. Certain areas of the hotel could do with updating or decorating as it seems to have been neglected a little. Breakfast was sausage, beans and hash browns, boiled eggs, cereals, yoghurt, tea or coffee and fruit juice. The bar had a bogof offer on drinks, but still charged us £6 for 2 halves of cider 🤔 Overall worth what we paid but could be a lot better."

"This is such a lovely little bed and breakfast! As a solo female traveller I can't emphasise enough how safe and relaxed I felt staying here. The room is clean, comfortable and very well furnished, the bath is a lovely bonus, the breakfast is incredible and I felt secure with a properly locking bedroom door plus two doors downstairs. It feels like a home away from home and to be honest I feel sad to be leaving already! The hosts are a joy to talk to and clearly have the travellers best interests at heart. I am already planning a return visit and will always stay here when I visit my family in Stourport in future! Thank you David and Debbie x"

"We were happy with everything here. A great place to relax. Catherine was the perfect host and made sure that we had a pleasant stay. We recommend the Sunday evening meal as restaurants in the Ludlow area tend to be closed on Sunday and Monday evenings."

"This Travelodge is excellent. All of the staff are excellent when I go - couldn't be more friendly or helpful. Rooms are always clean & fresh. Road noise is no problem & close to everything you need. I visit regularly so thank you to the staff who make it a pleasant time & so that I do t need to even consider looking for an alternative place to stay. Particular shout out to Gillian & Nancy who were/are always so helpful, pleasant & professional"

"I had a lovely two night break here and received a warm welcome. This is a period property with lots of character and charm. Peaceful and relaxing but close enough for a short drive or 25 minute walk into the village. For anyone with mobility considerations bedrooms are one level up. Roughly 10 steps up to a small landing and a few more to the bedrooms. I would definitely return for a future visit."
