"The sea is just outside the door, and there are barbecue facilities in the yard. There is a small kitchen and a large refrigerator in the room. I went to the supermarket to buy some seafood and cooked a hot pot, and then went to the beach for a walk in the breeze. It was a good stay experience."

"My wife and I went to the Outer Banks for a day and a half adventure that involved needing a hotel room. I chose shutters based on being located near one of the music venues we would be visiting. We are both free pleased with our stay. It was of course in the winter and off-season so we didn’t have any crowds anywhere which was perfect for us. It was everything we needed and expected and nothing we didn’t need. It was perfect."

Covered porch and propane grill greet you at the entrance which leads into full size kitchen and dining area for four. Spacious living room with smart TV, large L-shaped leather couch! Two bedrooms with closets & ceiling fans plus your own controlled AC/Heat in every room! One king bed and one queen! One full bath with tiled shower!
Enough parking for 1 vehicle preferably.
If your group is larger then 4 there are two other spaces that are available to be rented separately! Inquire with your host if you are interested in these spaces as well!

Everything in your space is for your enjoyment including the propane grill and outdoor hose at entrance. Inside is all yours except for the locked owners closet.

One bath towel, wash cloth, beach towel, and beach chair provided per person !
Private beach access for all Pelican guests is directly across from driveway.

Within easy driving distance of many local favorites such as Jeanette’s Pier, Jockey’s Ridge, Tanger Outlet Shopping, Bodie Island Lighthouse, Coquina Beach, and the NC Aquarium in Manteo, the property is also minutes from fine and casual dining, grocery stores and much more! The town of Nags Head is just down the street and offers dog-friendly beaches.

The nearest beach access is a 10-minute bike ride or a two-minute drive from the house.

The first level of living space (located on the second level of the home) offers two bedrooms each with an ensuite attached full bathroom. The master has a queen bed and balcony overlooking the courtyard and the second bedroom has a twin daybed with pullout trundle. The third level features the main living areas with an open concept living room, dining room, and kitchen as well as a half bath and front and backside balconies.
