"Good points Staff were very helpful and welcomed us, Amy at reception checked us in and was very polite and explained everything. Breakfast was good. Lots of choice in aviary suite, buffet full English, and the views from this floor were amazing. Beds are very comfy, toiletries provided, bathroom clean with good size shower, coffee/tea making facilities. Mini bar, everything you need. The spa area was clean, and although small, it was very nice. Bad points. For the spa, you had to change into robes provided and use your towels from room, but obviously, these get wet, so if you go back to your room for a shower, you'll have wet towels. (But to be fare, they ordered dry ones to our rooms as I moaned about this, and they came straight away). The room could have been a little cleaner, a few stains on the floor, etc, but it wasn't too bad, just marked down on. We would definitely stay again, and for price range, a lovely hotel."

"Bus stop right outside the hotel. We took the bus most of the time instead of the tube. Tube station is just across the street. Very convenient. There are many fast food restaurants close by. Waitrose is just right opposite, perfect for a late night supermarket shopping. Natural history museum, V&A are a few minutes walk away. Room is huge for London standard. Do note that hotel only provide 1 time free bottled water on the day of check in."

"Irecently stayed at Axiom Park Hotel in Battersea. The location was excellent—just steps from a bus stop and near Battersea Park, which made getting around London easy. My studio apartment was spacious by London standards, clean and equipped with a kitchenette, a comfy Select Comfort bed, and fast Wi‑Fi. I appreciated the helpful 24‑hour reception staff and daily housekeeping. Noise could be an issue if your window is open, and I did notice some signs of wear and tear in the decor. The deposit process was also a bit slow to refund. That said, for the price, this hotel offered great value. I’d recommend it to those wanting practical and affordable lodging in London."

"Pros: - Decently sized, standard layout and comfortable rooms. - Rooms are quite clean, service in general was nothing too special but gets the job done! - Convenient location near buses and metro to Central London / Oxford for a day trip, close to Westfield London which has great number of F&B outlets, supermarkets and shops. Cons: - Housekeeping was inconsistent; stayed for 6 days, everyday was missing something different, not being replenished in the room; could be tea, coffee, hand towels, tissue paper, toilet paper etc… had to keep calling for service every night throughout the stay. If housekeeping had set up the room in standard, hassle could be alleviated from all parties as it takes the housekeeping more than 20 minutes every time to bring the items. - Both toilet paper rolls were removed unexpectedly one night, even when we certainly left the room with them both in the morning which I find a bit funny as there wasn’t even a need to replenish - but simply removed. - Clock timing was incorrect 6 days throughout the stay and nobody clocked that nor changed it. - Slight wear and tear in the room but nothing too major affecting our stay apart from the bathtub glass panel seam being broken and water kept coming out of the shower. - Emergency alarms went off at 730AM with no explanation. - There was daily construction noise and one day the workers and equipments were all outside our room for a good 4 hours in the morning to afternoon time. Again, I don’t blame it because maintenance is important but a notice would be nice. Overall, I think the hotel gets its job done, the room and location were decent and comfortable. It’s the housekeeping and maintenance fell below expectations."

"This was our second stay at The Ark Hotel in London, and once again, it exceeded all expectations. The service was absolutely amazing—staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome from the moment we arrived. The entire hotel is spotless, and the rooms are not only clean but incredibly comfortable—the beds are some of the comfiest we’ve ever slept in! We chose to stay here again because it’s conveniently located near the O2 Arena—we were in London to see an artist perform there during our visit, and the hotel made everything so easy and accessible. The location is perfect for exploring the city, and the amenities are top-notch. We especially loved relaxing in the swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna—such a treat to have those available right at the hotel. We were impressed during our first visit, and this second stay just confirmed that The Ark Hotel is a gem. We’ll definitely be staying here again on our next trip to London! Highly recommend!"

"The hotel is perfectly located and easy to reach. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes located nearby. The best view from the window is guaranteed no matter where your room is located: river or marina side."

"Stayed at Ark for one night when watching a concert at Wembley. The location was amazing, a 5 minute walk to the stadium and all the food outlets. Didn't really get a chance to use the kitchen facilities, but having a fridge was great for having cold drinks and tea/coffee was provided. Check in was easy, bed was comfy and after the concert we were back in the room within 10 minutes. Highly recommend."

"The staff were especially wonderful and I felt at ease. As others have written, there is no elevator, but the staff carried my heavy luggage up to the third floor, which was very helpful. All the necessary amenities were provided. I was a little worried because hot water was taking a while to come out of the shower, but after waiting for a while, it came out fine and I was relieved. If I have the opportunity to go again, I would like to use it! Thank you very much."

"Average booking. We spent an important milestone here, informed them prior to booking. No verbal acknowledgement by staff upon check in. Just a small card in the room, appreciated, but expect more for the price. Staff weren’t very friendly aside from a small handful. The cleanliness of the room was good especially the bathroom, but the dishwasher absolutely stunk, anybody who had opened it prior to the booking would have been able to tell, indicating to me this wasn’t checked before. The room we stayed in was right next to the train tracks which were so loud in the early hours of the morning. Literally waking you up every 30 mins, especially if the window is open. The view was absolutely terrible. Our room was on the third floor allegedly supposing to have city views. Just a view of platform 9 and 3/4s honestly. Have much worse words to use to describe it but can’t use it here. If the room was half the price I paid I would be okay, not impressed, but okay, but for the money spent I expected more."
