"The hotel is modern and comfortable, and overall it offers good value for money. The breakfast was decent, although tea was not provided by default—I had to ask for it, but it was fine once served. There were some minor difficulties, such as figuring out how to use the clothes dryer in the room. Also, most instructions were in Korean, which made things a bit confusing at times. However, the service was generally good, and despite a few inconveniences, I had a pleasant stay."

My room was spotless, modern, and thoughtfully designed, offering a beautiful view of the surrounding city. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room amenities—ranging from high-quality toiletries to a well-stocked minibar—made the stay feel luxurious and convenient. One of the highlights was the breakfast buffet. The selection was impressive, with both Korean and international options, all fresh and beautifully presented. It was the perfect way to start each day. The hotel’s location is another huge plus—quiet enough for restful nights, yet close to notable attractions, the Expo Park, and convenient transportation hubs. Whether for business or leisure, it’s an ideal base in Daejeon. What truly sets Lotte City Hotel Daejeon apart is the service. Every staff member I interacted with was courteous, professional, and eager to help. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was flawless. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Daejeon. It exceeded my expectations in every way, and I will absolutely return on my next trip!"

"requested for quiet room - was put on 2nd floor which is odd since the room is right above the bsck entrance and carparks. Endless beeping sounds, drunks at night. Room was in the corner, which is the probably the quietest on the floor but the level negates it all. Wasnt quiet enough, kept waking up. Room 212 is to be avoided.  Appreciate the cooking equipment, which isnt as grimy and in as poor condition as the usual. Dishwashing liquid and scouring pad provided. Ondol is warm. Too many built in cabinets which goes unused and can smell a little musty.  Stayed 9 days, found a type of insect that resembles a very long ant with a forked behind and multiple sections. Encountered 5 of them in the bathroom, all on different days. I squished them so it isn't the same one.  There's bug spray in the room, Idk if it works on them. Got a picture of the 3rd day wormie for your viewing fun..."

"This hotel is perfect for travelers relying on public transport, as it's located in an area with a dense network of city bus routes. The bedding fabric was soft and ironed stiff, which made for a very pleasant sleep."

"Perhaps because it's in the Yusung Hot Spring complex, the water quality is definitely excellent! The room was also spacious and clean, which was great. However, the bed was much narrower than I expected, which was uncomfortable. It felt more like a double bed than a queen size. Also, the ventilation fan was very loud, and there was a lot of car noise from outside. Even with earplugs, the sound still came through. And it was a struggle not being able to use the hose shower. (No matter how much I turned all the knobs on the faucet, no water came out of the hose shower.)"

"Check-in was simple and smooth. The member of staff that checked me in spoke great English. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable, but I do wish they had more pillows. There was only one provided. There were lots of shops in the local area. The closest train station is about 13 mins walk away. There is also a Starbucks in the same building. I would stay here again."

"I really enjoyed staying in the hotel. Very clean and the price is awesome. Location is just great, right in the center of the City. You can easy access anywhere because there variety of busses. Bus stop at 1 min walk or even less. It was quite hard to connect wi-fi since I could not find password by myself but thanks to the staff that helped. Thank you again a lot!"

"This is a review of the iHotel. The location and view are truly exceptional. However, the amenities are quite poor, and noise remains a concern, so if you're sensitive to noise, I recommend finding accommodations in the suburbs. The air conditioner seems to pump water out of the room, and the refrigerator is quite noisy."

"I booked the wrong room and ended up in a room for disabled guests. It was a single bed, and since there were two of us, I was a bit flustered, but they gave us a bedding set to spread on the floor. The duvet was so cozy and nice. It had a luxurious feel that made for a great night's sleep. If you prioritize bedding, I recommend Continue Hotel. The facilities were clean, and the TV was huge."
