Koh Yao Yai Village
"This was my third visit. This hotel during the low season is brilliant. Not busy and great prices but a bit of a gamble with the weather. Very natural surroundings - hope you like geckos!"
Anattaya Holiday Home
"Convenient travel, the accommodation is near restaurants and 7-11 (the room smells very good)"
Santhiya Koh Yao Yai Resort and Spa
"Enjoyed a wonderful stay at this resort, where the service was attentive and prompt. The staff was polite, friendly, and eager to assist with any requests. The view from my room was breathtaking, offering a stunning panorama of the surrounding mountains and ocean horizon. Overall, a memorable experience that I highly recommend."

"It's a peaceful hotel with a good atmosphere. The rooms are clean and the staff are polite and lovely."
Elixir Resort Koh YAO Yai
"Absolutely lovely and great hotel in Koh Yao Yai 🙏 we loved the place Great rooms , good food , cost bar and a really nice athmosphere and the staff is amazing and so warm and good 😀"
THE REAL ESCAPE - Koh Yao Noi
"It’s nice the room I booked had no ac though but I still liked it, bathroom and toilet are lowkey the nicest I’ve seen for the price, owner is also very nice. Would recommend."
Baan Taranya Koh Yao Yai Resort
"Beautiful island, beautiful hotel. Kindly staff especially Chris the baar tender. Breakfast buffe was great, good food. Island and hotel were silent, you can totally rest in this place. If you go to phi phi islands the ferry is picking you up from the pier front of hotell. Quite expensive food considering to like Koh Lanta."
Royal Yao Yai Island Beach Resort
"A lot of room for improvement. Service - check in was chaotic, staff members almost too scared to look up to see who is there for them to help. Our room wasn’t ready which was fine as we were a little early. Came back a 3 hours later, 3 members of staff free all talking amongst themselves.. again no one wanted to look up. Eventually someone acknowledged me and got our room sorted. Beach bar - massively understaffed considering it seemed to be catering for the whole resort, on the beach, by the pool, the grass lawn and the beach restaurant itself! We stayed 3 days and service was slow and lacked organisation and urgency. no one seemed to know which food was for what table, Missing items etc. It’s a shame as food was good and place has so much potential! Breakfast was very much the same - not enough plates, Bowls, glasses etc. tables were slow being cleared. Eg. We had asked for a drinking glass and 1 was brought out instead of bringing enough to fill restock the area for others. Great location - beautiful sunset, has everything you need around. Convenience shops, restaurants etc. For a 5 star resort we were disappointed especially comparing to other resorts a long the same strip of beach. We saw little to no management presence to combat some of these issues or at least see them first hand and solve some of these issues."
Blue Bay Resort - Access to Pool and Beach-Phuket & Krabi
"Beautiful place. Rooms, pool and beach were excellent. Lots of families and couples so as a solo traveller felt a bit out of place. The restaurant was good but one night I was ignored for 30 minutes as there was a large party in. The staff, especially the cleaning and maintenance were superb over the four nights. So friendly and make you feel at home."

Sabai Corner Bungalows
"Let me start by saying that we took a two-week trip to Thailand and stayed in other bungalows nestled in the forest. We weren't expecting the comforts of a five-star hotel, but at least we were expecting an enclosed accommodation where we could rest at night in the middle of a forest full of animals. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case. It should be noted that these aren't bungalows, but huts open on all sides, allowing insects and animals to enter from anywhere. The bed was surrounded by a mosquito net, but it had holes in some places: after two minutes, the bed was covered in mosquitoes. The accommodation was at the top of the mountain (inconvenient to reach and without lighting). The bathroom was outside the room, downstairs. We didn't feel at all comfortable, so we asked to change rooms, but they were all occupied. We then decided to look for another accommodation, which isn't easy on such a small island where it's already pitch black by 6 p.m. The hotel offered no help, let alone a refund, zero, even though we had paid for two nights' stay. They called us a taxi and we left. The structure and treatment were terrible."
Koh YAO Yai Hillside Resort
"This resort does not disappoint! From the moment of arrival to leaving our stay was outstanding! This is our second stay at this resort and personally we wouldn’t stay anywhere else. The cleanliness of our room and our pool were second to none! Thank you to the whole team for another awesome 5 night stay!!!"
Artisan Koh YAO Yai Handcraft Beachfront Villas
"There were a lot of ants in the room, and the room itself was not cleaned well. The girl at the reception was friendly, helped me rent a bike. The hotel is authentic, interesting design, but I will not come again."
BJ Beachfront Hotel
"The atmosphere is very good, quiet."
Anantara Koh Yao Yai Resort & Villas
"Booked this hotel a week before my trip, and it was still a great choice. The staff were very warm and welcoming."
TreeHouse Villas Koh Yao - Adults Only
"The most magical stay, bucket list type experience. Stunning island, and just the most beautiful villas. The food was amazing, the atmosphere perfect. Our villa was incredible, very relaxing. Thankyou for making our 10 year wedding anniversary one not to forget!"
Samsam YAO Noi - Andaman Magic & Art Villas
"Perfect team and seevice Beautiful hotel Great view Big and beautiful room Good value for money Clean Great and fast laundry service Quiet and private Amazing restaurant next to the hotel- Lek’s restaurant"
Six Senses Yao Noi
"The hotel's location and service truly embody wild luxury. Each villa is equipped with a swimming pool, the room is very spacious, and the main concept is natural and environmentally friendly. All configurations are humanized. The housekeeper Kate accompanied us from the beginning of our stay to the end, and customized activities for us. During our stay, it happened to be my daughter's birthday. She prepared a birthday cake and arranged the table attentively and meticulously. Thank you very much! Every employee of the hotel is very enthusiastic and meticulous. I will definitely come again when I have time in the future!"
Dan's Koyao Retreat
"If you want a quiet retreat away from the hustle and bustle of Phuket, this little piece of paradise is almost perfect. Staff were great (Sin was very friendly and helpful), room was clean and spacious, bed large and comfortable, great views, breakfast, pool etc. Room for improvement: the shower was decent but could have been better, the small white desk/bedside table was not comfortable and didn't really fit in with the rest of the decor in the room, and I didn't get a reply to the email I sent prior to my arrival asking about transfers to the property. Overall though, still great and we would have loved to stay longer."
YAO Bada Badoo Boutique Resort
"We stay at the resort for 3 nights, overall good experience except the hot water is just too hot and it has no control to lower the temperature of the hot water and also the water pressure is low. This a good little boutique resort to chill and relax and to meet other travelers. The services are very good. The foods are excellent and tasty."

"Beautiful place"
Amber Yao Noi
9 Hornbills Tented Camp
"After weeks travelling through Vietnam and Thailand, we were so looking forward to a few days and nights of luxury and somewhere to properly relax and rejuvenate. We had an amazing Panorama Tented Camp with pool overlooking the spectacular limestone islands of Phang Nga Bay and Krabi in the distance. The accommodation (glamping with dark wooden floors, a super comfy four poster bed, bath with a view and an outdoor shower) was even better than the photos online. The service was wonderful and staff incredibly helpful and friendly. We organised a half day boat trip to visit Hong Island and other nearby sites, allowing time to explore beaches, coves and do a little snorkelling. It was one of the highlights of our trip. The food was also great. We ate at the sister beach resort (Koyao Island Resort) but also ventured out to nearby bars and restaurants which were greta value and offered tasty food. We both also enjoyed an incredible full body deep tissue massage in resort. I would happy return and would recommend 9 Hornbills Tented Camp (and Koyao Island Resort) to anyone wanting picturesque luxury away from the more crowded places like Phuket. Overall, it was great value for money and just what we needed before continuing our island hopping."
Purana Resort Koh YAO Noi
"The service is very friendly, the food is very good, Thai delicious. If you can try to book a villa, the view and private swimming pool are very good. It is a niche travel and there are not many tourists, so you can relax and enjoy it freely."
Jaiyen Eco Resort
"The resort is very secluded, but surrounded by beautiful nature. You have to be aware that there's nothing within walking distance. It's a place to truly unwind. Our room was lovely, and the dogs and cat living there were incredibly cute and well-cared for. We were only moderately satisfied with the service, and the prices for the rather small portions were a bit steep. We booked a boat trip through the hotel and specifically asked if they could recommend something less touristy. Unfortunately, the trip turned out to be to several overcrowded, extremely touristy beaches—a real tourist trap. We were totally disappointed and found it a shame that Jayen Resort recommends and books such excursions. This mass tourism doesn't really fit with their "sustainability concept." I wouldn't recommend staying longer than two nights. Overall, it's a nice resort, but for us, the price-performance ratio wasn't quite right."
Koyao Island Resort
"I visited over a weekend with my wife and three daughters. We booked a family beach villa and had a beautiful stay. Please note, that for those who are sensitive to mosquitoes, the rooms are infested with them. The property does their best in providing repellents of different types but good to know ahead of time. Also, to note, the family villa is one large open room with two king beds; perfect for families with small kids but not for two couples. The property’s access to the beach is ideal. We experienced the complimentary kayaking, and our long boat ride came to pick us up right off the private beach. The gardens, the swimming pool (1.2mtr), and the beach access makes It ideal for families with young children."
