"Website clearly states "No Pets" , upon checkin we see several people walking their dogs on the grounds. So much for that policy. I have allergies to dogs and can only hope that a dog was not previously in the unit we rented. Overall clean, but the black mold around the shower head and around the top of the shower in unit 848 was a bit concerning. Was quite surprised when getting hit with a $27.92 charge for "Resort Fees" otherwise known as "Junk Fees" upon check-out. Was not informed of any additional fees upon check-in. Office manager was unmoving on this. This has been reported to the Massachusetts Attorney General."

Econo Lodge Lee - Great Barrington

"This place hasn't had maintenance at all. The bathroom is disappointing; door doesn't close well, walls are dirty and have holes, the bathtub was dirty and stained, the curtain, that apparently used to be white, is now yellow and had a big hole and the toilet seat kept sliding. Old , yellowish and stinky towels. Gave us short supplies, had to ask for more. In conclusion, I don't recommend this place at all. Go somewhere else"

Quality Inn

"The hotel is quite old, the room facilities are outdated, and the cleanliness is average. The breakfast is also average, but it's considered relatively good for this small town, especially since we came during peak season and all the rooms were full. After checking in, we found that one bed's bedding wasn't made. The receptionist came several times to get the bedding, and then we had to make the bed ourselves. There's nothing we could do since there's no housekeeping staff on duty at night."

Chambery Inn

"We stayed at the Chambery Inn this weekend. It was beautifully maintained, clean, a great location, easy/contactless check in and check out. We were asked our wine preference and a delicious bottle of red wine was waiting for us. It was also great to see some of the pieces of the schools history maintained and fun reading all the notes left on the chalk boards by previous guests. There was keurig machine in our room and outside in the hallway as well as an espresso machine, both fully stocked with lots of great options! We happened to be there over Memorial Day weekend so had a nice view of the parade sitting right outside of the Inn! We will definitely be back!"

"So grateful to have discovered the Devonfield Inn. After determining that wedding planning was just not for us we decided on the Devonfield Inn. They have a perfect all-inclusive elopement package, which had everything we wanted and needed. Doug and Jim make you feel like friends from the first point of contact with them. The entire experience of planning our wedding was seamless Jim provides a delicious breakfast. The entire space is immaculate. We chose the gorgeous treetop inn suite. Very spacious with a separate living room area and a huge bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub and double sinks and such a comfortable bed. Easy drive from Boston to Lee. The inn and grounds are charming We felt we could not have picked a better place to hold our elopement. Doug made sure every detail was taken care of. It was truly a no stress ceremony. Everything was perfect right down to the handmade fresh bouquet that is included in the package. Doug was very helpful and providing information and restaurant recommendations in the area We can’t say enough about our experience at the Devonfield Inn, and how they made our marriage ceremony so memorable. If you’re looking for a no hassle, hands off, stress free, unforgettable elopement experience, you must choose Doug and Jim and the Devonfield Inn!"
