Do note there is no elevator if you plan on staying on the high floor, and altitude sickness could be a problem for some to climb up. Moxi Ancient Town hasn't got much going on at the moment, but I think if you come back in a few years, it could be more bustling."

"I checked into the hotel on the evening of January 31st. My room was on the second floor, near the air conditioner unit, and the noise from the unit was quite loud, severely affecting my rest. Since I had already used the room, I couldn't request a change, resulting in noise disturbance all night. I hope the hotel can be more attentive in room allocation to avoid similar situations. The hotel customer service clearly stated that breakfast would be served from 7:00 AM, and this was confirmed repeatedly. However, when I arrived at the restaurant at 7:10 AM the next day, breakfast was not yet ready. Only one chef was busy, while the other staff were idle, even making noise at the restaurant reception, disrupting the dining atmosphere. I hope the hotel will strengthen the sense of responsibility and service awareness of its staff to ensure breakfast is served on time and to provide guests with a good dining experience. When I tried to check out at 7:50 AM, the front desk was unattended, and the lobby was empty. Because I was in a hurry, I had to leave my room key next to the computer at the front desk. I hope the hotel will rationally allocate front desk staff to avoid guests encountering situations where no one is there to assist them upon check-out. The parking lot exit gate was unattended, preventing vehicles from leaving normally. Ultimately, the passenger had to park the car back in the crowded parking space and search for staff to resolve the issue. Finally, a cleaning lady helped wake up the front desk staff, and only after entering the license plate number could the passenger leave. It is hoped that the hotel will strengthen its parking lot management and ensure that there are dedicated personnel on duty at the entrance to avoid unnecessary inconvenience to guests. The hotel environment is clean and tidy, and the exterior is also aesthetically pleasing, but there are some issues with service quality and internal management. It is hoped that the hotel management will pay attention to these issues, strengthen systematic training for employees, improve their service awareness and sense of responsibility, and optimize internal management processes to provide higher quality and more efficient service and enhance the overall guest experience."

"This was a total rip-off, I felt like I was scammed by a marketing account. 1. The view wasn't great; there were two construction sites right in front of the window, which greatly affected the experience. 2. The entire guesthouse was old and poorly maintained. The room doors wouldn't lock properly, and we had to call workers at night to fix them. 3. The worst part was the food. We ordered a chicken hot pot, but we couldn't find a single whole piece of chicken, just scraps like necks. It wasn't tasty, and it was expensive—nearly 300 yuan! The next day, we ate at Moxi Ancient Town for half the price, and the food was much better, with larger portions and better taste. I recommend eating at Moxi Ancient Town if you want to eat out. The above review is entirely because the guesthouse's price was completely inaccurate and not worth the price. It was a total rip-off, the most unpleasant place I stayed during my trip to Western Sichuan."

"This is a rare find in Sichuan, with a private hot spring pool directly in each room. The rooms are spacious, and the pool is equally large. Hot spring water flows into the outdoor pool 24 hours a day, so it's always steaming hot in the morning. The hot spring water is genuine, with a sulfurous smell and plenty of sediment. This experience was highly rated. The environment was tranquil and elegant, with a sophisticated and stylish design. The rooms were spacious and clean, the bedding was comfortable, and the underfloor heating throughout was a thoughtful touch. The private hot spring bath in each room was perfect for soaking while enjoying the mountain views. The service was warm and attentive, with attention to detail. Quiet, private, and perfect for taking photos, it's an excellent choice for a relaxing vacation. Five-star recommendation! I'll definitely come back."

"My husband and I traveled by car and took National Highway 318. Originally, Chengdu got off the highway, and then changed to Luding. I chose this homestay on Trip.com midway. Bring us unexpected surprises. Newly opened in 2025, clean and tidy. The mattress is very comfortable and the sanitary products are disposable towels and bath towels. The hair dryer is also very useful. The details are very good. Especially the roof design is very distinctive. There is also breakfast, according to our taste, cooked noodles. The little beauty at the front desk is also very careful. My husband is a bit hot, she gave us help, thank you very much."

"The hotel was clean and provided welcome fruit. The gentleman guarding the hot springs was very welcoming. We were assigned a street-facing seat. Although there were fewer cars at night, the quiet nighttime noise was very loud. The soundproofing wasn't very good, and I could clearly hear people knocking on doors in the hallway to the left and right, which made for a poor sleep. A big warning! Don't buy a package deal with the hotel and Hailuogou tickets. Hailuogou recently had a buy-one-get-one-free promotion, so you won't be able to take advantage of the discount if you buy this package. You can visit the Hailuogou official website or purchase tickets at the visitor center."

"The service was warm and attentive. The hotel had a TV with screen mirroring and a smart voice assistant (Xiaodu). The decor was elegant and sophisticated. The chubby security guard (a dog) was especially adorable. The hot spring was authentic sulfur. Each room had curtains on the balcony, ensuring privacy. The owner thoughtfully reminded us of the sunrise time, though he missed it himself. The room included bottled water, drinks, fruit, and snacks, breakfast, bathrobes, slippers, and even a sewing kit among the toiletries. Knowing we were out for dinner, the staff turned on the air conditioning for us – a very thoughtful touch. I would definitely stay here again. Five-star recommendation!"
