"We’ve been to Bulgaria twice before staying at a different hotel but opted for a change this year. The hotel is close to the airport which is always a plus when travelling with family. It’s located a few minutes walk from the beach and a short walk from the historic old town or a short bus ride (well worth a visit). Inside the hotel everything was super clean and the staff friendly. I’ve seen some negative posts about the animation team but that wasn’t our experience. We found both Alex and Artem to be super friendly and encouraging without being pushy. My youngest loved them both and followed them around and not once did they complain or moan and always welcomed her which was lovely. I thought they both were a credit to the hotel and without them my rating would have been lower - thank you guys from us all and will always remember the fun of those darts games. Negatives for me were around the food, compared to other hotels we found the food to be quite limited and not really varied. My two children both have food allergies and although there were some signs up the options for them both was extremely limited to basically beige food. The deserts were very repetitive and boring after a day or two and for my children we had to get them pudding outside of the hotel as none of the options catered for their allergies. We had even contacted the hotel in advance of our visit to enquire about allergies but didn’t receive a response. Overall a pleasant stay but personally wouldn’t go back and would prefer to pay a bit extra and stay at Sol Palace up the road which offers so much more variety in all aspects."

"Went there for our 10 year anniversary as I am a fan of secrets this really is not the quality I am use to. Firstly, the preferred club is not worth the money. I attached pictures but it is like a room with a few drinks and a few dirty lounges. Far cry from Lanzarote where you had a clear dedicated area. Also people can easily access this area. So safe the money. Also in contrast to other secrets resort you do not get extra drink options as preferred club. Half the menu cost menu even if you go for unlimited luxury. In Lanzarote you had amazing and unique cocktails here you have your four standards and the rest costpextra.Also while for example in Lanzarote you had a sushi place you could go to an Italian place etc the variety here is limited and you have to prebook. Also the coco coffee use to have lovely cake, special coffee milkshake etc this one has standard coffee and some small cakes that you also get at the buffet and bad petrol station sandwiches thattastelike fridge. The room is okay what you should expect however the cleaning is not great. This is afive star resort. Also there is a smell at the entrance and the toilets are filthy. We have forwarded this feedback and we received a generic response back but no time offered to talk to us even when I checked. You should not let customers chase you to talk to you. It's ashame as this resort has potential but it is not up to the secrets standards. Also the internet is so slow in some areas."

"It's not our first time in Nessebar, but it was our first time in MPM Arsena. We went to other hotels in that area and none of those was that bad. The good parts: - the food was ok, enough choice for everybody and it was fresh - the pool was clean - the bar had many choices for drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) - private beach - location - right on the beach - beach bar The bad - by far, the room was the worst thing about this hotel - cleaning was the worst that I have seen, speaking about long-term cleaning (mold between the tiles, stained sealing, stains on the walls, see the pictures) - we tried to change our room, but they didn't want to change it - the toilet was leaking, addressed to the reception but nobody came for the whole of our stay (4 days). More than that, the person from the reception was trying to explain to me in a bad English that maybe it's not the toilet, but from the ceiling. - the windows in the bathroom was so badly positioned that people from the other room could see me siting on the toilet - the view was to another room - in the room was so cold, that I came back home with a cold. Tried to adjust the temperature, but the thermostat didn't work at all; even switched off ventilation completely from the thermostat, but ventilation was still on. - the chairs on the beach don't have a small mattress on them, you sit just on your towel - on the private beach there was no "security". People that were not staying in the hotel were coming and sitting there and someone even took my chair while we were in the water. - the beach bar didn't have all the drinks - the outside of the hotel looked dirty - some of the stuff didn't speak English and were sometimes rude If you ask us, you are better off to another hotel than this one."

"We were 10 people, booked an apartment with 6 places and another room with 4 places. They were completely unprepared, in the 6 people room there were 5 beds and in the 4 people room were 2 beds and an extremely uncomfortable, crooked, squeaky pull out couch. In the "kitchen" there was nothing working. Only an electric kettle and a couple of glasses, less than the number of people staying there. No cutlery, no plates, it had a stove and oven but not a single pan in sight. The bathroom was extremely tiny and in bad shape, clearly in need of updating. In the 6 people "apartment" there were 2 rooms, which were actually one real bedroom and a bedroom / kitchen / living area, even though it was advertised as 2 seperate bedrooms and a living area with a pull out couch. The pillows were incredibly tough. The 2 people beds were actually 2 singles pushed together. The breakfast was not a buffet as advertised, instead they would prepare a plate for each person. It was exactly the same thing every day. Half a cucumber, half a tomato, 4 cheese pieces, 4 ham or salami pieces, 2 small butter containters and 2 small jam or honey. Sometimes they would forget things off the plates and they were extremely slow to bring them out. You could not eat or drink anything from outside the hotel by the pool, even though we were staying there and there were little to no people at the hotel the whole time we were there. The only positive thing is that they let us jump in the pool, but I think it was partly because it was empty. Overall they were slow, unfriendly, we felt lied to and they were trying to justify why there weren't enough places for 10 people to sleep in the rooms by saying the photos were old (the pull out couches were brought in later at our complaint and they didn't initially bring us bedsheets and pillows, or enough towels for all of us there, don't even get me started on the claim that there was a hairdryer in every room)."

"Wonderful place. The hotel is lovely and clean and the staff are very friendly. The entertainment staff are wonderful. Daytime thetes plenty to do for babies right up to adults. Water polo, are very, darts, games and more. The evening animation team are great. The work really hard to involve everyone and give anyone a good time. For a more relaxing break they have yoga or just quiet time. The yoga teacher does reiki which is amazing. This is our 2nd year here and its just so good."

The staff were so accommodating and welcoming, the rooms were fantastic, huge, clean and cleaned every day. About 15 minutes from central sunny beach we were far enough to be relaxed but close enough for everything we wanted to do. Honestly would recommend to anyone from families to girls holidays, I’d visit in again in a heartbeat. Psa do not let the pictures deceive you, the hotel is immaculate and the loveliest stay- photos do NOT do it justice!! Thanks to the wonderful team for having us. Xx"

If you enjoy hair in your food, head lice in the furniture, rude service, a flock of seagulls around you as you try to sunbathe, THE WORST AND MOST BORING FOOD TO EVER GRACE YOUR PALATE, and if you want to eat locally expect to hand over double what you would pay at home. It was a cheap getaway for us, but honestly I need a holiday to get over this one. I implore anyone reading this to save your hard earned money and please look elsewhere. Buyers beware!"

"Stayed at mpm orel hotel sunny beach for 12 nights all inclusive, location is excellent out the back gate and cross the road to the beach ,also very near flower Street but far enough away not to have noise ,the staff in the hotel are excellent,very hard working,can get a bus on the main road to nessebar which is lovely to visit only 1euro each way about 20 minutes away,or go to the bus station and get a bus to Burgas for 4.50 each way .there are lots of shops etc near to the hotel ,there was no shortage of sun loungers while I was there and also there are free sun loungers on the beach ,I was always able to get something from the food unless you are very fussy,only thing I found was a lot of it was only lukewarm,the room was fine justed like it looked on Web site,only drawback was the shower in the bathroom did not have a shower tray or curtain so all the bathroom floor got wet when you had a shower which was a bit messy and also a little dangerous because it could be slippery,but overall I really enjoyed my stay it was lovely and relaxing,there didn't seem to be any entertainment at night for adults but maybe that starts in June ,I think there was bingo a few nights,I would return again"

"So looking forward to our holiday but to be honest we are very disappointed.. the lack of evening entertainment and the bar shuts at 10 pm.. one member of bar staff so the queue is horrendous.. no bar snacks.. the daytime snack bar isn’t a snack bar at all.. never have I been to a hotel that doesn’t have a self serving snack bar with burgers , sandwiches, salad and chips etc.. to save you dressing properly and going into the restaurant.. The choice of food in the evening is very limited.. it’s like a budget all inclusive.. they clearly don’t want you eating or drinking.. needs a serious update and to find out what all inclusive really means …the bar and restaurant cooks are rude and unprofessional.. Spoke to lots of guests and they all said the same thing .. very disappointing and unfortunately we will definitely not be returning or recommending this hotel to any of our friends… lack of information about anything and cards to access the lift AND toilets .. ridiculous…"

"We first visited Helena Hotel in 2013. We have visted every year since, sometimes twice a year ( excluding lockdown). In total over 16 times. We wouldn't want to stay at another hotel in Sunny Beach. The staff are very welcoming, the rooms are very well equipped. Plenty of wardrobe & draw space for all clothing. The restaurant is lovely, with a great choice of hot food or delicious salad bread or rolls. A great choice of sweets & ice-cream. Or a choice of fresh fruit. There is always a crisp white tablecloth. Inside the restaurant & also the outside dining area. There are Coffee / Tea machines too. Great comfortable relaxing bar areas ( in both hotels) We have stayed in the Helena Park also the adjacent Sands Hotel. Which are both set in beautiful gardens. Both with great outside pool areas.. Also with a shared indoor pool. The fabulous beach is just outside the hotel gates. Helena Resort has it's own sunbathing area. With free Sunbeds & umbrella's. Also included are the use of free beach towels. To change as often as you like, during your stay.. Our recent visit was on June 8th 2026. A great ideal location, at the quiet northern end of Sunny Beach Mrs L Fisher."
