"The front desk staff is unparalleled. Each and every member made we feel welcome and at home. Until, I reported strange "bites." I didn't use the word bed bugs because I've been in the hospitality industry for 25 years and that's a killer. I went down not one or two or three time times, but 4, before I was told the GM was on site but "on a call." I waited over 15 minutes for him in the lobby and when i finally gave up to take my dog out of the infested room, who did I see in the parking lot smoking a cigarette, Scott Howard GM. I showed him the active and recent bites on my legs and he explained that as he was not a "pest control professional," he was unable to confirm my claims or help me in any way. except to offer me the internet rate, 25% off another booking, should I care to stay.... when I mentioned that was in no way making it right, he rescinded his offer, said, "now I offer you nothing, please vacate the property." I chose to stay at this property for 9 nights and would have stayed another 5 waiting for my new apartment if not for your Gm. i have traveled all over the world and this is the first time I've written an email like this... it took me a week because I wanted to be calm and clear when I reached out. You are doing a genuine disservice to to rest of the staff if you allow that gentleman to go unchecked.
