"I was a little worried about staying alone in a dormitory room, but once I closed the curtains, it was private and I was able to stay comfortably. It was clean, and I was personally happy that there was a freezer in addition to the microwave and refrigerator! One thing that bothered me was that I had heard that the cafe space in front of the front desk was open to guests only in the evening, so I planned to relax and read manga in my pajamas. However, I was bothered by the fact that two men who were not guests suddenly showed up at that time and continued to talk to the young woman at the front desk without ordering anything. What's more, the woman was closing the front desk while talking to her friend on speakerphone (at full volume), which made it very difficult to relax. They seemed like high school students working part-time and still getting used to the place, so I don't think it was the inn's policy, but it didn't have the atmosphere of a local izakaya or a guesthouse where you'd normally socialize, which was disappointing. I guess it's because it's an island that things are more relaxed, but I thought I'd write this review in the hope that they'd improve if I were to stay again."

"The open-air hot spring is neither hot nor cold, the room is relatively large, smoking is allowed, there is a hotel shuttle to and from the port, the service attitude is relatively good, and the services of a Japanese-style hot spring hotel are basically provided."

"I was satisfied with the room, meals, baths, everything. There were only 3 rooms, so I was able to have dinner slowly. I had wine as a birthday celebration. From appetizers to two main dishes of fish, and the meat is stewed beef hoho meat ... all are wonderful. I used plenty of local vegetables, and even though I was traveling, I didn't run out of vegetables. There were many breakfast items, and the dried cherry blossoms and the next day's cherry blossoms were completely flattened. Thank you for the feast. I also asked for a milk bath and enjoyed it in the bath in my room. Anyway, I'm glad I was able to fully enjoy the heartfelt "hospitality" trip."

"A very cozy and beautiful cottage on the ocean shore. We stayed for two days and would happily stay longer. Everything inside is made of wood, and the design is tasteful. There's a room with beds, a Japanese-style room with futons (we chose to sleep in that one), a loft room, and a spacious lounge area. And in the evening, it's very pleasant to soak in the bath. The host is a very nice older man."

"It's located in the center of Oshima, and there are many supermarkets, liquor stores, and restaurants nearby, which was very convenient. It's cheap and has a hot spring, so I'd like to go again."

"It felt like a good old-fashioned Showa-era guesthouse. I wanted to enjoy breakfast and dinner at a lodging like that on this trip, so I was satisfied with the fish-focused Japanese cuisine. In the morning, I had a view of Mt. Fuji, and from my room I could see Tokyo Bay. I also enjoyed the unique view of Oshima. The innkeeper was very friendly and chatted with me, creating a great atmosphere. I was able to enjoy a solo trip starting from New Year's. ^ ^ Thank you ♪ This time I traveled in the winter, but I would like to visit Oshima in the summer as well."

"Fantastic comfortable stay with a family-run business! I stayed at Hotel Kailani during a recent trip to Izu Oshima Island (a ferry ride from Tokyo). The hotel is located on the hills of Habu Port, with waterfront views and 2 minutes walk from one of the best lookout spots on the island. The hotel was clean, quiet, spacious, with plenty of amenities and facilities, and a great breakfast cooked daily by mother and daughter. The staff are very friendly and you can really feel the care and attention that has been given to the hotel. I believe this is one of the best hotels on the island, and I highly recommend it to all travellers!"

"It is an inn just up the slope from Okada Port. The car stopped at Okada Port. The inn was very friendly and politely responded to the accessories I lost during my trip after returning to the mainland. Izu Oshima is talking about going again in a very good place, and it became a very nice memory. Thank you."
