"The staff are very friendly and helpful.  The lobby has a nice wood burning fireplace that was pleasant to hang out by in the evening.  The breakfast was excellent and included delicious breakfast burritos. The room was a bit small and dark.  The toilet could have been cleaned better."

"Our 5 night stay in room 20 at the China Clipper Inn was so enjoyable. The room was large; very comfortable and new bed; loved the in-room jacuzzi tub. We used the hot tub several times: very clean and relaxing. Breakfasts were delicious, filling, and fun. Perfect location right by downtown. Innkeeper Kristin is attentive, kind, knowledgeable of local and nearby attractions, and committed to the Inn's longterm success."

"⚠️ Unsafe Property, Damaged Bikes, and Completely Indifferent Staff Rating: 1/5 Our stay at this property was an absolute nightmare, made worse by a front desk clerk who openly did not care about our safety or property. •Negligent Front Desk: We explicitly told the check-in clerk that we were on motorcycles and expressed serious concerns about the unsafe conditions of the property. His literal response was "so?" before indifferently telling us to just drive around to the backside of the building. •Property Damage: The unsafe environment proved disastrous. A bear entered the property and knocked over our two motorcycles. Because of the hotel's terrible parking lot and lack of security, our bikes sustained actual physical damage. •Deceptive "Ground" Floor: While the clerk technically gave us a room on the back side of the building, the layout still required us to haul our gear up a flight of stairs, completely defeating the purpose of a ground-floor request. •Filthy & Broken Room: The room was disgusting and unmaintained. A dirty towel from the previous guest was still hanging on the bathroom door. The TV did not work, and the area behind the TV stand was caked in thick filth.The staff's total disregard for paying guests is unacceptable. Between the property damage and the filthy rooms, staying here is a massive risk. Avoid this place."
