Amazing
GGuest UserIt was a memorable time for us traveling from US as family of four with two kids age 7 and 11. First striking thing was everything was included in the all inclusive price. There were no hidden charges or extra fees for things like ala carte reservations. There were plenty of activities for the kids to keep them occupied. Ice creams and desserts were available all the time. Only downside for us was that we are vegetarians and food options are very limited as Greece goes heavy on meat.
בבלConvenient location, about fifteen minutes from Heraklion and the airport. Located on a quiet and pleasant stretch of beach. The rooms are spacious and equipped. Thinking down to the smallest details. Outstanding user experience. A welcome collaboration with Psaki Restaurant. What made our stay extraordinary is the wonderful service and the kind and dedicated staff. Thank you!
ZZeroLossTravelRoom: sea view room was beautifully designed; simple and attractive. Spotlessly clean.
Outside; the pool was also immaculately clean with lots of sun beds and cabanas. My only suggestion would be to have a bit more shade.
Food; the food was fine. Nothing exceptional and a bit pricey compared to the rest of the island but it was ok.
Location; it’s a little way to walk if you want to visit other restaurants but the view is amazing. My photos don’t do it justice. There’s a lovely sea breeze.
Staff; this is where The Nest really shines; every single member of staff was amazing. So friendly, thoughtful and kind. I honestly cannot give enough praise to the staff. They were simply wonderful.
GGuest UserBeautiful hotel, right in the city center. I had a suite, but unfortunately, the room’s hygiene was disappointing. The air conditioning blew out strange dust clouds — it turned out to be extremely dirty (see photo). In addition, the shower seals were full of mold, so I didn’t shower. The room faced a derelict building, which also came with a terrible sewage-like smell. Such a shame.
With half board, you get a credit to spend — which is actually a clever system — and the food itself was very good and delicious. But having to pay extra for a cappuccino at breakfast is just absurd. That should simply be included 🤷🏼♀️
AApostolos KaponisAdvantages:1. The personnel all were very friendly from the lobby till the cleaning lady trying to solve all your problems 2. Minimalistic architecture give the space to breath very beautiful decorations Disadvantages: 1. Please don’t go to the restaurants of this hotel overpriced and the food sucks for two person 200 euros for a food that cost less than 20. 2. Rooms we’re comfortable but overpriced for the things that offered.
GGuest UserA stunning and family-friendly hotel with all you could ask for on the grounds. From a beautiful gym, swimming pools galore to an incredible water park on site for not just the little ones but the big kids too… it has it all! The food courts had so much variety too with different settings for different nights. The entertainment kicked in just as I was leaving and the bar side singing was just beautiful, a great touch to the space ito give it that adult-exclusivity feel away from the other areas of the hotel which catered for the whole family.
DDRIEDGERIt’s ok. Sone things are good. Like dinner is a fair price for the smorgasbord style. Breakfast is ok. Not great. But enough. Sufficient. AC does the job in the room. Slow. ButAC in common areas is at 25. For many cultures 25 is warm and puts ion a sheen or sweat still. Not fun to sweat indoors while eating. Prices are high for juices. Smoothies and such. Too bad. And some rules are weird. saying I can’t have my own food or drinks. Etc. sorry. Your a three star hotel. You don’t get to tell me what to do. We are paying for shelter annd accommodations. And we will live as we wish when it comes to basics. Food for thought. Wifi is useless in rooms. Or our room. Travellers need wifi in the modern eta. Simply unacceptable. Staff is ok. Not charming. But willing to try and help. Also: The pool - can’t be used after 6 pm, that’s insane. Travelled all over the world. I have never seen that before. It’s asinine. You leave for the day. Come back. And can’t swim after 6 pm, ridiculous. .
GGuest UserI was waiting more from the hotel… I don’t think the pictures shows exactly what the hotel offer… specially the pools…
Me and my boyfriend had a very bad situation.
We went to a tour in Santorini and the Ferry boat was late on the way back. Our guide called the hotel asking for a late dinner for us and the hotel said they would provide.
When we reached in the hotel we saw that they put our food ON THE FLOOR, close to the room door.
I made a mistake (I assume) I wanted hang out that thing saying “ make up my room” but I choose the wrong side and put there “ do not disturb “
But if our guide called the hotel saying that we were in Santorini of course they could go into the room to put our food in the fridge or keep in at the bar…
I went down and talked to a guy in the repception showed him the picture I attached here and he answered me that was my mistake putting the “do not disturb” at the door and he could do nothing for us, we should eat that food that was on the floor 😱😡. No excuses for this…
On the day after I talked to the manager and she apologized and gave us a voucher for the lunch.
We apologized but I will never forget this situation…
GGuest UserGreat location, friendly stuff.
Nice pools.
So so for the breakfast and dinner, coffee is not tasty- but that’s almost all over Crete :) the cold water are a bit salty.
Room was not enough clean when we entered, some remains in toilet and shower.
They clean the room only once in 2 days, and the cleaners don’t care enough for making it enough clean.
We really liked the room next to the back pool, but before that we got room next to central pool which was very uncomfortable, old bathroom and very noisy (we heard everybody walking up and down the stairs starting 6:30am.
The stuff is quit friendly usually, but over-busy.
AAlcinda Nalatche MendesI have been to this hotel before and I gave it 4stars. However, this time I would definitely give it about 3⭐️⭐️⭐️. The reason why is because, they started charging for air conditioning, when that was not a thing, the prices of the snacks, and food were very expensive, and happy hours is not really happy hour. Perhaps my first time was really good and the expectations were high, but I did not think the quality of the amenities were as good this time around. The staff is very friendly and nice, I have to say.
