GGuest UserThe Vivanta Goa Panaji is an excellent hotel. My wife and I travelled from the US to visit in Goa. The hotel has an excellent location near the Campal Gardens and is a very walkable location. We walked to Fontainhas and into the city area several times. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. The hotel provided plenty of bottled water, more than we could use. The pool area on the rooftop is a great place to cool off and relax after touring, and the food/drink selections and service were very good. Our booking included the breakfast buffet, which I HIGHLY recommend. There was a very large selection of food, including western /continental, Chinese and Indian. There must be over 30 things to choose from, including whatever type of eggs you could think of, waffles, pancakes, dosas, etc. The quality was excellent, the hot food was hot and cold food was cold. We also ate at the hotel at least one evening for the buffet. It was also extremely extensive and high quality and a very reasonable price. The staff was amazing and the servers truly took an interest in making sure we were happy. They made suggestions for what to try, and if you let them know you are an adventurous eater, they will help you to experience something new and exciting to taste. The hotel is part of the Taj group, and their attention to quality and service is apparent. We will definitely stay at the Vivanta the next time we are in Goa.

JJadeYourJourneySuch a wonderful and beautiful hotel. The staff are helpful and go the extra mile. I was disheartened to observe several lapses in pool etiquette that compromised the establishment's otherwise esteemed reputation. Guests were seen entering the pool in inappropriate attire, such as pajamas and underwear , which is not only unsightly but also raises hygiene concerns. Proper swimwear is essential to maintain pool cleanliness and uphold the hotel's standards. Additionally, the presence of infants in diapers in the pool area is unsanitary, especially when a designated baby pool is available. This oversight not only affects the pool's cleanliness but also poses health risks to all guests. The disregard for established pool etiquette significantly detracted from the luxurious experience anticipated at a 5-star establishment. The unsanitary conditions and lack of enforcement of pool policies not only diminished the quality of the stay but also raised concerns about the hotel's commitment to guest well-being and satisfaction.

DDoufutravelsFor our India trip, it’ll be Little India Beach Cottages that’ll be our special haven! Goa is a beautiful stretch of India already, but this hotel has gone above and beyond to make it shine all the more! We’d originally booked a standard room, but we wanted something bigger so we asked at reception for some options. They jumped at the chance to help us, suggesting one of the larger spaces which had separate kitchen, living room and bedroom. It became our little home for three nights—and we loved it! That night, we tried to hotel bar and restaurant, and from then, we ate there daily. The food is divine and easily some of my favourite Indian food! As typical Brits, we loved the sweet and spicy potato! We also tried Cabo (coconut liquor) for the first time because of the wonderful recommendation from Sonu! Sonu made sure we were looked after whenever we wandered into the restaurant, hungry and in need of some delicious curry! He was so warm and really helpful with my dietary requirements! He’s such a sweetie!! We also booked our excursions through the hotel. Kapil was not only our driver but also our tour guide! He’s super knowledgeable about Goa to an almost superhuman level! He was such a laugh on the trip and made sure we had the best time possible. He really taught us a lot about life in Goa and how the history shaped the people and life the there. He was also the one to drop us off at the airport so we got to leave on a high note! Generally, all the staff were fantastic. We were sad to leave our haven by the end. Thanks so much for our Goan experience!!

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and excellent service. The beachfront location offered breathtaking views, and the facilities were top-notch, with well-maintained rooms and amenities. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the food. Each meal was a culinary delight, with a wide variety of dishes to choose from, ranging from local Goan specialties to international cuisine. The chefs paid careful attention to detail, ensuring that every dish was flavorful and beautifully presented. One of the most memorable aspects of my stay was spending time on the beachfront. Whether it was lounging on the pristine sands or taking a dip in the azure waters, the beach provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation and enjoyment. Overall, my experience at Lafoxoso Goa exceeded my expectations in every way. The combination of impeccable service, stunning facilities, and delicious food made for a truly unforgettable stay. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a luxurious beachfront getaway.

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a great location. Very friendly welcome. We were shown to our room and things explained. The balcony was small but ample. The room should have contained robe and slippers but these were missing, although didn't affect our stay so not a real issue. The pool is small but was very quiet and provided a nice cool off. Towels are available at the counter. The hotel is located directly on the beach with beech shacks and restaurants on the beach very nearby. The hotel does not provide beach loungers BUT if you head to a beach shack and buy a drink or two, they will allow the use of a bed for free. Directly out of the hotel gate on the beach there was a lady with beds trying to charge 500 rupees for a bed for the day. This is not necessary when you can get a drink for less with a free bed. We nearly learned the hard way. The bed was far too hard for me, resulting in reduced sleep, but some people may prefer a firmer bed. My partner slept better than me so this was a personal experience. The bedding was nice quality though. The whole place was clean and tidy. Rooms made up every day in the afternoon so not disturbed early morning which is nice. The rooms are not soundproof so a lot of noise can be heard from outside when people start moving around in the morning. Staff were friendly - everyone had a smile, and nothing too much trouble. We only experienced breakfast once, and I would say it is ok as long as you don't expect a full English fry up (which in my opinion you shouldn't as you're in India). The food was hot, tasty, and fresh. There was plenty to choose from for a breakfast selection. If I was to fault the breakfast, to provide a suggestion, providing tea and coffee black so that customers can add their own milk would make it more accessible to all. I can't drink too much dairy so had to give this a miss. Then the only real downside to this hotel we found is when checking out, you are made to wait until the room has been checked, in case you steal anything. I completely understand this, but this should be made clear when checking in. We had booked a taxi to arrive at check out time, which could have resulted in additional costs for waiting time. Just to be mindful if staying here and arranging onward travel. Or maybe the hotel could make this policy clearer upon checking in. All in all a very nice stay in Candolim and this hotel was a good choice.

TTema GWe stayed at Stonewood Hotel in Vagator for the weekend (Saturday – Sunday). The hotel is located in the Goa cluster area where parties and events are held, and if you want to sleep quietly at night, this place is not for you. Music and bases from the nearest parties felt right in the room, and sleeping was almost impossible, even with berries or earphones. On the other hand, the hotel itself is very pleasant: rooms are clean and comfortable, there is a swimming pool, beautiful views for sunset, and the downstairs to the ocean is comfortable. Breakfast is modest, choice is small but all fresh. There are several beach clubs next to the beach where you can eat cheap and delicious. The interesting element was the figure of Shiva's face on the beach carved on the rock. The hotel provides a taxi at a good price and location is convenient for travel to local markets. Staff friendly and responsive. In general, we liked our stay, especially the kinds, service and atmosphere of the day, but take into account noisy nightlife if you plan a rest with a full sleep.

FFreebird_GraceOverall this was a very satisfying stay. A few major hiccups but less on account of the hotel or staff. Certain times of the year it does get too busy. During our stay it was found to be comfortable and satisfying. I think the staff here are very professional and dedicated to what they are doing. I would return for a stay here.
