The Cloud Hotel
9.4 (624 reviews)

The Cloud Hotel ★★★★

📍 No. 2 Wenhua Road, Pingbian

"There's an activity room on the 4th floor for playing ping pong and mahjong, but it's only for overnight guests. Hotel staff asked us to leave when we tried to play ping pong or cards, saying it was booked for overnight guests who get a lower room rate and special privileges. We booked 4 rooms, and 3 of them had leaky sinks; the disposable slippers made it feel like we were ice skating."

"The room is large, with hot springs, about three pools, and the temperature is moderate. The restaurant has a set menu and is very unique. The sound of running water outside the lake view room is loud, and the sound insulation effect is good when the door is closed. If you mind, stay in the courtyard room."

Pingbian Yinfeng Hotel ★★

📍 Opposite Daweishan Plaza, Wenhua Road, Yuping Town, Pingbian

"Overall, the hotel is good. Public health is a bit poor. It was being renovated when I checked in. I could hear the sound in the whole building. I had to take a lunch break when I checked in. It was really noisy. I booked two large suites. One of them had just been cleaned when I checked in. Disinfectant water The smell was very strong. I found out later that the bathroom was leaking. The bed was large and the facilities were complete. However, the TV could not be turned on and the Internet could not be connected. There was no soundproofing. I could hear sounds from the corridor and other rooms at night. The parking lot was It's a public hotel. I had to wait for a long time to move my car when I checked out. It's not bad for a small county town. There's food downstairs. It would be nice if there were more types of breakfast."

The dinner included with the booking was also very good, a set meal for two with two meat dishes, two vegetable dishes, and a soup. The breakfast set meal was also excellent, with a wide variety of choices. The hotel staff were all warm, attentive, and hospitable. I will definitely stay here again!"

The Cloud Hotel ★★★★
"This is a terrible review! The service at this hotel is absolutely awful! I have to comment. Having stayed in countless hotels worldwide, the service at this hotel is simply incomprehensible! Around 1 PM, before checking out (checkout time was 2 PM according to the hotel), I discovered my car had been scratched in the hotel parking lot by a truck, presumably belonging to the hotel. I communicated with the truck owner as usual, called the police, and followed the insurance process. During this time, the hotel manager and other relevant personnel became aware of the incident! The most bizarre thing happened: while the incident was being handled, a hotel cleaning staff member suddenly appeared and told us to take our luggage and check out immediately! The cleaning staff member even questioned us: "You said you wanted to stay yesterday, why aren't you staying? If you're not staying, then check out..." My God, I was still dealing with the incident. I can stay or not stay, what's it to you? This incident occurred in the hotel parking lot and: 1. The incident is still being handled. 2. It happened in the hotel parking lot. 3. It was a parking space assigned by the hotel (we specifically gave up our space because the hotel had offered to help us find one earlier). 4. The hotel manager and relevant personnel were present but made no comment. 5. We didn't need anything from the hotel; we just needed to call the police and have our insurance handled normally. 6. After all, having our car scratched was bound to affect our mood. And then, a cleaning staff member came and urged us to check out, questioning why we weren't staying… The hotel manager and relevant personnel didn't say a word in response. Is the cleaning staff the hotel's boss? We hadn't even bothered the hotel, and instead of offering comfort and reassurance, they came to bother us? Fine, I'll give you a bad review! Note⚠️: This hotel's service is extremely poor. There are many good hotels in Pingbian; don't choose this one!"

"The newly built Miao city is nice. The basic quality of the hotel is very good in the county. The rooms are large, the facilities and linens are comfortable, the service is acceptable, the breakfast is average, and the hot spring is better than nothing."

"The bed sheets and pillowcases in my room were dirty when I called the front desk, and they immediately arranged for them to be changed. They also provided complimentary fruit upon check-in: an ugly apple and two bananas. After eating the apple, the cleaning staff brought the plate of bananas with it the next day."

Muyang River Landscape Resort ★★★★
"The screen is the biggest treasure in this trip to Yunnan. The hotel occupies the largest place in it, and the living is too comfortable! The price/performance ratio is bursting. This scenery is built in this space. The price is so cheap. I like it so much. If I have to be critical, I feel that the food is more general, but there are a lot of delicious food on the screen, and I can completely ignore this small point."

"It's nice to find a room like this in Pingbian. The only downside is that when I stayed there, some neighbors kept chickens, and they would crow every morning at breakfast. I wonder if the chickens are still there now."
