Sunrise Jade - Adults Only

"This was our third stay at Sunrise Jade, and honestly, you just can’t beat it! Every time we visit, we’re reminded why we keep coming back! The staff are exceptional. A special mention to Anna in the restaurant – she is an absolute gem! Whether she was serving breakfast, the evening meal or working in the ice cream shop, she was always so friendly, welcoming and genuinely lovely. The reception team were also incredibly helpful throughout our stay, and the bar staff made the best mango daiquiris. The food in the Ginger Restaurant was amazing, delicious and beautifully presented. Our room was spotless every day, with fresh towels provided daily. We love that pool beds are allocated, which means there’s no need for the usual early morning rush to reserve a sunbed, it’s a more relaxing way to start the day. The location is perfect too. It’s close enough to walk into the Protaras strip when you fancy a bit of atmosphere, but far enough away to enjoy peace and tranquillity. We especially love the beautiful walks along the coastline. Another fantastic holiday at Sunrise Jade, and we’re already looking forward to coming back again next year."

"We had a very positive experience at this hotel and truly enjoyed our stay. The location is fantastic — right in the heart of the tourist area and just a few minutes’ walk from beautiful beaches. The staff were exceptionally friendly, kind and helpful throughout our stay. As we were celebrating our honeymoon, the team kindly helped us prepare a surprise and arranged a lovely welcome in our room. It was such a thoughtful touch and made our stay even more special. Our room was spacious, modern and spotlessly clean, and it was cleaned every day. The food was excellent and varied throughout our entire stay. We were especially impressed with the snacks, which were a refreshing change from the typical fast-food options. Instead, there were different salad boxes and toasties — a great idea! The drinks were also very good, with a wide selection available. We also really appreciated the adults-only pool. It was peaceful and quiet, and we always managed to find available sun loungers and umbrellas. The main pool was a different story, especially in August. Despite the hotel’s policy against reserving sun loungers, some guests were already occupying the first rows from around 6:30 a.m., even though the pool officially opens at 9:00 a.m. By 7:30 a.m., it was already difficult to find a spot. The hotel is clearly trying to deal with the issue, but unfortunately, it is difficult to control guests who choose to sit on loungers so early. Personally, we didn’t come on holiday to wake up at 6 a.m. just to reserve a sun lounger! Fortunately, there is a beautiful, long beach only about three minutes from the hotel, where two sun loungers and an umbrella cost €10 for the whole day. Another big advantage is how modern and well-organised the hotel is. Check-in was convenient — we simply provided our details online after scanning a QR code. The hotel also has its own app, where you can check the hotel map, meal times, drinks menu, book a table at an à la carte restaurant and even order room service. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel. We absolutely fell in love with Cyprus and would love to come back here again one day!"

Kapetanios Bay Hotel Protaras

"We visited in June this year and to be honest this hotel surpassed our expectations wonderful location why this hotel is not four star I don't know. We stayed for 15 nights and the rooms were clean sheets changed daily all the staff were friendly and helpful nothing seemed to much trouble you only had to ask and it was done almost immediately. The pool area was perfect the service around the pool first class,yes it was a bit more expensive than the bars and restaurants around the area but you expect that, while we were there we never had a bad meal always tasty.noisy around the pool over the weekend but nothing to much overall it was a great stay for our first time so much so we have booked for next year. We both said it was the best relaxing holiday we had . looking forward to seeing you in 2026 and thank you for a great holiday "

"Our stay (with my twin) at the Atlantica Aqua Blue Hotel was absolutely fantastic from start. The hotel was good located, making it easy to enjoy Ayia Napa and Protaras have to offer. From the moment we arrived at the Atlantica Aqua Blue hotel we had a great first impression. We were greeted by the friendly reception staff, who were helpful throughout our stay and assisted with our cases to our room. The hotel was exceptionally clean at all times, with every area maintained to a high standard. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well looked after, which made our stay even more relaxing and enjoyable. Our room was grate with the terrace opening up to our own access to the pool. The food was fresh of our holiday. There was an good variety every day, with plenty of choices to suit everyone, and the quality was outstanding throughout our stay. Every meal was fresh, delicious, and presented to a high standard. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was welcoming and relaxing, and the staff consistently went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. A very special mention goes to Georg and his amazing team Elia Restaurant. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they made every guest feel valued and cared for. Their warm hospitality created such a positive experience that we already can’t wait to return. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Atlantica Aqua Blue. The main problem is communication after check-out. We left a valuable and expensive item in the room. I emailed and tried calling the reception the day after leaving, but unfortunately, nobody replies to emails or picks up the phone."

Narcissos Waterpark Resort

"Not long returned from a father & son trip for 2 weeks. Honest review. * Lower pool does get busy early & you struggle for loungers after 9am. There is always loungers at the waterpark & it’s more quieter up there too, there isn’t anywhere to swim in the waterpark though. The slides are fab, we had a blast. * The room was nice & very big. The fridge came in handy too. We had a kitchenette but never used it. * The afternoon food was great in the restaurant, the fresh made pizzas were amazing. The evening food seemed to lack variety, it was pretty similar every night. Plenty of grilled meat though. The salad was no where near on par with other 4* hotels I’ve stayed before. The Pan Asian & BBQ Night was great. Desserts weren’t great either, it was mostly stuff packed with cream, barely anything with chocolate. I’d recommend eating out twice a week, it’s not too expensive in Protaras. * Bar staff were great, a nice variety of cocktails are included & the iced coffee was great too. * The bus stop outside is only 10 mins from Protaras strip, the beach in Protatas is very busy all the way across. The steps directly into the sea outside the TUI Blue hotel are great & it’s the bluest water on the whole beach. Whenever we went to visit the beach, we went there every time. We spent time at a small lagoon (shingle) beach called Palm Tree grotto. All this can be found easily using Google maps. * The beach across the road from the hotel was accessible by walking through the staff apartments that’s next to the abandoned hotel. Both Nisia & Green Bay Beach were small but lovely all the same with nice sand. * The evening entertainment as a whole was lacking & that’s mainly because the kid’s disco (which plays the same songs every night) & the nightly Bingo both take up a decent chunk of the evening. The real entertainment doesn’t start until 10pm which is disappointing because the bar closes at 11pm so make sure you get a few drinks in before then. The entertainment booked was great though when it eventually started. * All staff speak great English. * There are lots of cats around the hotel & most are friendly. There are 2 shiops just outside the hotel & they sell cat food. * The only English Channel was Comedy Central (which was great for us) but obvs not everyone would agree. We enjoyed nightly South Park, Malcom in the middle & American Dad. * The hotel has a luggage room & a shower room downstairs (-1) in the lift, they have lockers too for your passports if needed so you can make the most of the your last day. _________________________________ The only negative thing I feel I must point out was one of the restaurant managers. (small guy with glasses) Openly shouting & berating the staff who were clearing/prepping tables, they work 3 shifts per day & they work damn hard & hearing the way this man spoke to them was appalling & extremely unprofessional. The other restaurant manager was lovely (big guy with glasses) Overall,"

"We were very happy with the hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful, rooms nice and clean. The breakfast was good but could be better, especially fresh fruit salad and more bread varieties would be good. We can only recommend the Evalena. Price/performance is right."
