"It was a great experience staying at Tharu villas Wilpattu. Villas are spacious, with modern features and has great architecture. Secluded without any disturbances. Property is located about 15 minutes from Wilpattu NP, Eluwankulama entrance, which also is not very crowded. Staff is very friendly and caring. Would highly recommend for anyone who likes nature and wants a peaceful secluded stay."

"We had such a lovely stay at Dolphins Beach Resort and honestly wish we’d booked more than one night. It’s the kind of place you immediately want to slow down in. The safari-style tents are way more than glamping — they’re big, super comfortable, and have proper bathrooms, air con, and everything you need. The whole place is really nicely designed, with lots of cool little details (like shells instead of taps), and the tents are spaced out so it feels calm and private. The grounds are beautiful. The pool area is great, the beach was clean and quiet, and everything just felt relaxed and easy. We only ate the Sri Lankan food and it was excellent — fresh, tasty, and really well cooked. All the staff were so kind and helpful, and the owner was a lovely gentleman and really helpful with guidance and advice - or for a general chat….You could tell he just wanted everyone to have the best experience possible. The dolphin watching was such a highlight — amazing value and absolutely incredible. We saw hundreds of dolphins. You really feel close to nature here in the best way — we loved seeing frogs and little geckos around the grounds. It just added to the whole experience. Overall, we loved it and would 100% go back… next time for much longer!"

We were traveling with young children and the staff was kind and giving so the children didn't feel like a burden. We enjoyed the pool and the meals and the rooms. A lovely place to be."
