Disappointing experience — Misleading imagery and outdated facilities Pros: Convenient location Polite and attentive staff Cons: Highly misleading promotional photographs Considerably aged and tired building and furnishings Missing standard four-star amenities (no mini-fridge) Detailed Review: My stay at the Mehood Lestie Hotel was rather disappointing, principally because the photographs on Trip.com present a somewhat misleading impression of the property. In truth, the building is notably aged, and both the decor and facilities feel rather run-down and in need of refurbishment. Whilst the location was entirely acceptable and the service provided by the staff was laudable, the establishment certainly does not meet the standards one would expect of a four-star hotel. Basic provisions expected at this level—most notably a mini-fridge in the guest room—were conspicuously absent. Unless the management undertake necessary renovations or provide a more accurate representation of their facilities online, I would hesitate to recommend this hotel to fellow travellers.

Le Méridien Qingdao, a long-standing five-star hotel, truly delivers on quality. The room was spacious and airy with a comfortable layout, and it was quiet enough for a good night's sleep. The location is excellent, with plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby, making it a top choice for getting around. I was very satisfied with my stay! Oh, and there's free coffee every day ☕

The room was great, a bit smaller than a family room, but with small kids, it was fine for a family of four. Parking and dining around the hotel were very convenient. There's a small convenience store across the street where you can buy Tsingtao beer, which is delicious, and the owner is very nice. The two young ladies at the front desk provided excellent service, thumbs up!👍

First off, I have to commend the hotel staff; their service attitude was exceptional. The front desk gentleman even upgraded my room! The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, very close to the subway station, and surrounded by plenty of restaurants and amenities. The room was spotless, and the soundproofing was excellent too. I genuinely believe this is a trustworthy and great hotel with fantastic value for money. It's the most comfortable Atour I've ever stayed at.

After a lot of comparison, I finally chose Atour. It hasn't been open long, so the facilities are all quite new and the environment is nice. It was very comfortable to stay in and my child loved it. The breakfast was plentiful and you could even take it to go. They also had congee in the evening. The front desk lady was very enthusiastic.

It's pretty good, the hotel is quite new, and there's no unpleasant smell. The air conditioning works great, and the hygiene is also very good. The only downside is the service level; both the security guard outside and the staff in the breakfast restaurant need proper training. The front desk staff, however, were very good.

Due to remaining paid leave, I decided to visit Qingdao. This trip involved staying at three different hotels. The front desk staff at your hotel were very attentive, and the cleaning ladies and breakfast staff were also very friendly. Since I was taking international flights, I chose Atour because they offer parcel collection, which was a huge help! I'll definitely stay here again if I have the chance.

Even though it's a new hotel, there was no strange smell in the room. It was clean, quiet, and the bedding was excellent – they clearly chose good pillows and mattresses. The service was very thoughtful, and they even gave us a welcome gift. Hotels in Qingdao are a bit pricey this season, but overall, this place is highly recommended. It's close to the mall and the subway, making it super convenient for getting around. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Qingdao.

The room is large, with an independent cloakroom, and the bathroom is separated from wet and dry. The service staff is very good, there is a buffet breakfast, and there is a robot food delivery service. It is clean and tidy, and the transportation is convenient. There are many bus lines in front of the door.

This attendant was so cold and distant. I don't expect to be treated like royalty or for you to be all smiles, but if I ask a question, you should at least answer it, right? I asked her something the first time, and she pretended not to hear me, didn't respond. So I asked again, and then she finally went, “Huh!” This is what I call a delayed-response passive-aggressive defense. A brief raising of the eyebrows, a deliberately feigned surprise. Someone who genuinely didn't hear would show a longer period of confusion. Will they try to argue they didn't hear clearly? Well, then I ask, if a normal attendant doesn't hear what a customer right in front of them is asking, wouldn't their first reaction be, “What did you say? I didn't hear you clearly!”? Will they insist they didn't hear anything at all? You were right there, not even blocked by a computer! You're telling me you couldn't hear a sound being made? That's just not logical. So, whether it's an attitude problem or a lack of professional ability (like not being able to hear external sounds while typing), you clearly need more training! On a final note, all the other staff members I encountered during my stay were polite and easy to communicate with.
