Our early morning arrival was met with a warm welcome and an unexpected early check-in. This considerate gesture allowed us to freshen up and kick-start our adventure, setting a positive tone for our stay. During our visit, there was a minor hiccup with housekeeping - a misplaced pair of Nike Air Max shoes. Thankfully, the vigilant receptionist swiftly resolved the issue, locating and returning the missing item promptly. To make amends for the inconvenience, they went the extra mile, offering a small gift and complimentary breakfast coupons as a gesture of goodwill. Such attentiveness to guest needs is truly commendable. While we chose to explore authentic local cuisine during our trip, bypassing hotel dining, I cannot provide feedback on the food quality or variety. In terms of location, this hotel scores points for convenience. Taxis are readily available, and it took us just 30 minutes to reach the stunning Laoshan Mountain, a must-visit destination. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to a bustling night market right across the street adds to its appeal. However, there's room for improvement, notably in the cleanliness department. The bathrooms, in particular, left much to be desired, with an unpleasant odour lingering during our stay. Broken equipment, such as the wardrobe, was also in need of repair. Furthermore, the electric kettle was not up to our cleanliness standards, discouraging its use. In summary, this hotel offers excellent customer service, convenient access to transportation and local attractions, and a proactive approach to guest satisfaction. However, attention to cleanliness and maintenance, especially in the bathrooms, is an area that could use some enhancement.

I found myself having to take taxis everywhere, though fortunately, they’re inexpensive in Qingdao. The rooms are spacious and generally clean, with a comfortable bed, but the bathroom felt a bit outdated. Breakfast was just average, nothing to get excited about. Although the hotel is listed as 5 stars, it felt more like a 4-star experience. All the rooms face the streets, which can be noisy – I had to switch rooms because of this. However, my second room was a bit quieter. The staff were all very kind, especially the cleaning ladies who were always smiling and helpful. 最值得一提的就是，酒店性價比真的高，房價很優惠，居然還有機器人送餐，如果機器人忙不過來，外賣騎手還可以把外賣送到房間。酒店停車場車位比較多，免費停車。有地上停車場，還有地下停車場。前台服務態度好，前台領導處理事情很專業，遇到問題會及時處理。還幫忙免費升級房間，房間窗户大，都是明窗，化粧鏡也是帶燈光的。早餐菜品味道好，種類多。位置便利，酒店整體入住感受特別滿意。前台提供行李免費寄存，叫醒服務。服務效率高。房間內乾淨整潔，床高低合適，空間大,性價比很高，以後還會經常來住，非常推薦！

Holiday Inn Expo is a nice hotel, but it’s in the middle of nowhere. There are no shops or restaurants nearby. It’s even difficult to waimai food to the hotel. There is a subway stop within walking distance, but iOS’s a 20 min subway ride from anything of interest. This morning at 7am, I was awoken by loud construction noise. So annoying! What hotel allows construction to happen at 7am. I was thoroughly looking forward to sleeping in on my weekend vacation. 😡

Came here on a business trip and chose Novotel Hotel. The experience was great! As soon as I arrived at the hotel, the exterior was grand and upscale, and the lights were on at night, creating a full atmosphere. The room was spacious and tidy, the layout was reasonable, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the office and leisure area was also very practical. It was comfortable and comfortable to live in. I ordered some delicious food in the evening. The grilled skewers were tender and fragrant, the instant noodles were tasty, and paired with fresh beer and cola soda, it was simply too good! The staff was warm and thoughtful, and I will come here again next time!

I read many reviews before booking. And I will happily return in future. I am an overseas Haier employee and the closeness to Haier is excellent, and the connection with the Metro Station. As other reviewers have said - the noise from other rooms is sometimes disturbing. Hearing loud voices and even snoring. But not so bad that it would keep me from coming back.

the room is clean and big, staff are helpful. We need to check out early and they helped us to arrange simple breakfast takeaway as well as getting ready a cab for us. i think this is the extra service that they offer to help foreigners (unable to use their local DIDI / e-hailing app). food options are available within walking distance. Breakfast choices are excellent. will come back to this hotel again.
