"The front desk staff were very warm, polite, and efficient. We arrived before 11 AM and thankfully, the front desk promptly arranged a room for us. Luckily, the front desk staff informed us that the ticket office for Danxia Mountain Scenic Area was right opposite the hotel. They also explained in detail how to buy tickets, the process of driving into the scenic area, parking locations, and an itinerary suitable for us. The room and bathroom were very clean with no strange odors. The shower had sufficiently hot water and good water pressure. I really liked the hotel's garden; it was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was just so-so. The parking lot was well-lit at night and had security patrols. There were plenty of parking spaces. Breakfast was quite simple. There's a lack of dining options near the hotel, almost all of them are farm-style restaurants."

"Came here with my kids after seeing this place pop up online and thought it was a pretty good deal, so I booked it. It's quite new, with construction still ongoing nearby. Its location is super convenient, right between the Danxiashan Customer Service Center and the night tour pier. The room was spacious, with electric curtains and a smart toilet. The only downside was that the shower water kept fluctuating between hot and cold. The included buffet breakfast was also good, with a decent variety, and you could even catch a glimpse of the beautiful Danxiashan scenery from one corner. I extended my stay for an extra night, and the kind front desk lady even added an extra breakfast for me! 😊"

"Take the minibus on Line 5 from the high-speed rail station. Get off before the traffic light at Danxia Mountain Terminal. Walk straight for about 30-50 meters to reach the guesthouse. The view room is nice; it's clean, comfortable, and has a good environment. However, the bathroom drain is a bit slow."

"Lightning warning! We were supposed to check in at 2pm, but we actually had to wait until 4pm before the room was cleaned, and the hygiene was worrisome. There were red and yellow unknown residues on the bed sheets and quilt covers, and there were big spiders and geckos in the room. The bed was not comfortable to sleep on. When I turned over, the bed creaked. When I opened the door, it creaked. The sound insulation was also very poor. I could hear the footsteps upstairs clearly. The service is basically zero, the boss is too busy and is often nowhere to be seen. He also owns the Ju Fu Xuan restaurant across the street and recommended us to eat there. Although the dishes are 10% off, they are expensive, unpalatable and the service is slow. There is no late check-out and no bottled water in the room. For 200 yuan, to be honest, it is better to stay in a hotel. The houses in Duanshi Village are all converted into B&Bs. If you want to sleep well, I suggest you stay somewhere else."

"Let me start with the positives. The room was very clean, the bedding was good, the toiletries were also very good, there was a clothes dryer, and the metal hangers were a thumbs up. They also gave us sweet soup in the evening, and asked for two more bottles of water, which were delivered quickly. The soft service was better than the hard environment. The breakfast was simple, but clean and tasted good. The coffee was also very good. However, the room rate was too high. It was about a 20-minute walk from the scenic area gate. The surrounding environment was average, not as beautiful as in the photos, very simple, and the price/performance ratio was not high."

"The environment of the villa is very good. You can see Danxia Mountain and you can get there in a few minutes by car. It is very quiet at night and the air is good. The quality of your sleep has improved. There is a swimming pool and karaoke in the villa. The children had a lot of fun. I will come again. , find some time to come and stay for a week or two"

"Hiking all day was tiring, but the hotel's Yao-style bath was very relaxing. The hotel's facilities were excellent; they even provided body lotion, sewing kits, and all the disposable toiletries were of good quality, showing the hotel's attention to detail. If you're driving, I recommend coming during the day. There's a long road leading to the hotel, and during the day you can enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way."

"I was very satisfied with this guesthouse. First of all, the location was excellent, situated on the edge of a guesthouse area with unobstructed views of fields. From the rooftop, you could see the back of Monk's Hat Peak, and even catch a glimpse of the sunrise in the early morning (because the opposite mountain is quite high, the sun rises rather high, so it's not a bright red sunrise, but it's still a nice view even if you're not going to Danxia Mountain for the sunrise). Secondly, the owner was very kind and patiently explained how to explore Danxia Mountain. The location is relatively close to Danxia Mountain, about one kilometer from the outer gate, making it very convenient to drive to the Danxia Mountain parking lot. It would have been even better if there were more power outlets in the room, haha. Overall, I was satisfied."

"Stayed 2023/08/22-25. The location is wrong on the map, as there is not an entrance to get to the actual location, thus they should put the gate as the location!! The room's view: I wouldn't describe it as "a room with a view"!! The stone footpath is so uneven, it is very difficult to pull a suitcase on wheels on the path... They lady at the reception was very unfriendly and not helpful at all - throughout my stay there. Grumpy and inappropriate behavior I would say! She is really not an asset to the business as I wouldn't call it a guest house!! The Friday morning when I left, there was another lady.... So friendly and helpful, she even helped me with my luggage! I have many food allergies and thus always carry non-perishable food with me. That first evening I wechat with her for an hour and a half, trying to find out if there would be something for me to eat at the breakfast... I sent to her my allergies in Chinese, but she kept on saying "you can eat what ever you want, it is a buffet" but she couldn't understand that although they have a buffet, doesn't mean there will be something that I can eat!!! She didn't want to tell me what they have on their buffet..... So lateron I gave up! The pictures on there page on Trip com, IS NOT what was served for breakfast!! In the morning again she pushed a plan or cartogram in my face as to where to go for breakfast.... The thing was so confusing that I couldn't understand it (and I am a geographer!!) Even a WeChat map with a point on, would be much better!! Breakfast was served in another building, a distant from there.... The inn us part of several other accommodation, namely Danxia Impressions. I could only eat 2 things: watermelon and sweet potato.... Then another lengthy Wechat conversation!! In the end she said she didn't see my allergy list, but I mentioned it a couple if times and I sent her a Chinese list of my allergies!! She gave me back the money for the other breakfasts, but did not even offer to prepare something for me like many other hotels did where I have been to in China.... The first evening I asked about entrance tickets to the different parts of the scenic spot and her answer was only: go to the ticket office! No directions or indication on the Chinese map (it couldn't translate) to show where the ticket office is.... One evening I went for dinner in the town with a Chinese friend I met there on the mountain and went back after 24:00, then I was locked out. The last afternoon late at sunset, I was overwhelmed by a thunderstorm on the mountain and came down with the last cablecar... There was no doormat at the entrance door and I was sooo wet, I couldn't even press on my phone, thus I showed her I need towels and that I would wet the floors.... But nothing... Thus I needed to go upstairs to dry my hands and typed a message to ask towels... In the beginning I said I do not need clean towels everyday, but anyone with common sense would have been able to see that I then needed towels as everything was wet from my head to my toes, included my backpack... Apart from the grumpy "hostess", the room and bathroom was very clean, but the bed very hard.... There was a smart automatic toilet with fountains spraying your bums🤣😂 I will not recommend this "inn" to any foreigners. @@@"

"After driving through a narrow bridge that seemed impossible to pass, I quickly came to the hotel. The boss was very enthusiastic to help with the luggage, and quickly helped us prepare the dishes. I have to say that the onion and ginger chicken made by the boss is really delicious. The homestay is clean and tidy, and the bedding is more comfortable. The only thing that can be improved is that the bathroom needs to be separated from wet and dry. Come together in the morning, open the curtains, the bamboo forest is nearby, and the typical Danxia landform is in the distance. The landscape is first-rate and the air is fresh. Breakfast is simple but healthy. Before leaving, the boss also enthusiastically brought water and fruit. In short, this homestay is really nice, and I will stay next time."

"I spent a long time researching online before deciding to book this place with my parents, and I was truly satisfied! The room was bright and quite clean, and the surrounding environment was quiet, perfect for light sleepers. The landlady was also very welcoming. We went to Elder Peak in the morning and ended up spending too much time there, not returning to check out until after midnight. She readily agreed to help us get our luggage and check out via WeChat. Overall, a very pleasant stay!"
