"This 273-square-meter pool villa was an absolute steal at 600 RMB per person, including breakfast, for Chinese New Year's Day. The privacy was excellent. We checked in on Chinese New Year's Eve and stayed through New Year's Day. It was 1200 RMB plus for the room, which included two breakfasts.
The hotel boasts Six Senses-level infrastructure combined with a Sheraton-caliber management team. The attention to detail was impeccable, and everyone was incredibly welcoming and hospitable. Bicycles were free, and cycling around the hotel and its surroundings was a true delight.
Breakfast was exquisite and filling. The highlight was the lakeside setting, complete with resident wild ducks, dragonflies, and small fish. I spent two hours every day in the lakeside pavilion, soaking up the lazy sunshine – it was incredibly therapeutic.
The 273-square-meter pool villa, their most basic room type, was perfect for the two of us. The bed on the second floor felt a bit empty, probably due to the minimal furniture. The outdoor shower area was fantastic, completely open-air and offering a wonderful connection with nature.
A 20-minute walk brings you to the nearest 7-Eleven. Just outside the hotel, along the beachfront, there's a small street food night market that pops up daily. While the quality isn't top-notch and can't compare to what you'd find in the city, it's a great alternative to the hotel's dining options. The beach here is very quiet and much more pleasant than the city's. Although it's a bit further south in Hua Hin, the hotel's value for money is simply unbeatable.
