"Location: Ski in Ski out Beautiful Red Runs, trees areas Nice and wide slopes Rooms: Clean but old Desperate for renovation Onsen: There are 3 choices The best renovated looking one is the North Wing 6/F Vale also uses the same onsen Breakfast: Octoberfest Crazy amount of people Need to go super early Food Ok Ambience old like a canteen Lunch/Dinner: The mall looks like it used to stuck in the 80s with not many restaurant choices Better off go to the restaurants just outside of hotel Ski Lockers: Handy but very run down looking Overall: We paid USD390/night but didn't enjoy the overall experience and the tour group like canteen feel at breakfast. It gives a very 80s vibe that wasn't very appealing. Will definitely not come back."

The Westin Rusutsu Resort

"Facilities: The hotel is old and renovated, with very low ceilings. Taller individuals might hit their head in the bathroom. Cleanliness: Usually cleaned in the afternoon or evening; a basic tidying up. Environment: The natural surroundings are great. Encountering fresh powder snow made for very comfortable skiing. Service: Friendly, but with many people, you'll have to queue."

The Vale Rusutsu

"Very spacious room with a well-equipped kitchen, washing machine and dryer. The hotel connects to the West Mountain and offers shuttle bus services to Mount Isola. Parking is free and abundant. We will be back!"

"The location is very close to Rusutsu Ski Resort. The kitchen and bathroom are fully equipped. The shuttle bus booking and cancellation is also very convenient. The shuttle bus is very punctual. If you are a large group of friends who want to book a hotel, I highly recommend this place!"

"This is a single-family homestay owned by a Korean owner. The guest rooms are on the second floor, and the restaurant is on the first floor. It's a 10-minute walk from the Rusutsu Hotel. It's actually quieter here, and there's a daily shuttle bus to the hotel."

"Excellent! 👍 Suitable for family trips. It takes 7-8 minutes to walk to Rusutsu Resort."
