"We recently stayed at the Belize Budget Suites on Ambergris Caye. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. The grounds were well kept and the ownership/staff were responsive and friendly. The location, as stated, in a residential community, was several miles from the frenetic nature of San Pedro, something we welcomed. Lucinda, Jose and Miriam were all friendly and run an excellent accommodation, beginning with emailing very complete and useful info. Rather than renting a golf cart, we used taxi services of Sponge---501-623-0692, who was wonderfully responsive, informative and accommodating, less the stress of downtown San Pedro golf cart "swarming" and parking."
