Hotels near Dadonghai Square, Sanya

In comparison to my 3 weeks of hotel stay in 7 cities in China, this hotel has to be the most disappointing experience. Breakfast was poor. There’s a sign for coffee but nothing offered across the 3 nights we stayed there. No bacon or fried eggs nor western bakeries. However, there’s limited congee , noddles, cooked veggies & white bread with only one strawberry jam offered . We’re there at 750 am but was told some items was already out of stock. Limited napkins provided in dining area. Room was smelly of tropical dampness, but air conditioning helps. $300 deposit was required for room damage precautions. My friend has an argument over tainted bedsheet caused by previous patrons but has to prove it. So check your bedroom before committing. Location was fairly good, with walking distance to the beach and side street offered various food services and massages. Second level inaccessible by elevator but no one tells us until much later. Russian tourists loved this area & the abundance of Russian posters & welcoming signs told the story.

Two years before we were in this hotel and service was much better than this summer. This summer we got not cleaned room. The furniture was old, and irrigated, the fridge didn’t work and we asked to change it, the air conditioner was dusty, and walls were dusty too. The sink in bathroom wasn’t ok too,it was rusted and there couldn’t run water properly, we asked maintenance to fix it as well. As I said before we were there two years before and we got really nice impression about this hotel that’s why we went there this summer too, but it was last time ever. Also want to add about meals( restaurant ) was really good, a big variety of meals and drinks too.

The B&B is near Dadonghai, with Xia Ri Department Store just outside. It's a 5-minute walk to Dadonghai Beach. It's very convenient to Yi Market, Luhuitou, and Coconut Dream Corridor. You can go to Xiaodonghai to catch seafood. This store also provides free sand digging tools and fishing tools. The room is clean and tidy, very warm, and the air-conditioned lobby is very cool. The service attitude of the brothers and sisters at the front desk is good. If you don't understand anything, they will patiently help you answer. It's really a treasure store. Friends who come to Sanya must not miss it~

First of all, I would like to thank the staff for their service, which is great! After booking, they took the initiative to contact us about the arrival time. When we arrived, they received us on the first floor, took us upstairs to check in, and even explained the location of the parking lot. The details were very good! However, the hotel facilities are really average and very old. It is in the same building as the Berry Hotel. There is also the word Berry Hotel on the window of the room. It should be that part of the hotel has been rented to renovate the rooms as a B&B. It is not recommended for families with elderly people to stay in this hotel. The floor is too high. The elderly at home have always told me that their heart can’t bear it. The sanitary napkin shelf fell off because it was installed for too long and hit the elderly’s shoulder. Originally, Those who have booked for two nights can only check out early! If you are traveling by yourself, I would rather choose to live here. You can see the sea view from the balcony. It takes 2.3 minutes to walk to the seaside. There is a commercial street downstairs with a lot of food.

My family traveled to Sanya and wanted to stay in the Dadonghai tourist area as the first stop. I searched on the platform before departure and the platform recommended this B&B to me. The room quality is very good, clean and hygienic, the bed is very comfortable, the location is good, and it is close to The seaside is very close and very lively. There are various water activities, catering and entertainment and leisure facilities. The transportation here is convenient and it is convenient to go to various scenic spots. Close to Summer Department Store and Luhuitou Scenic Area. Will come again next time and recommend to friends.

The check in desk was very helpful, and met me even though my flight was late and I arrived close to 2:30am. The room was clean and satisfactory. The bathroom was a bit smaller than the photos. But the view from the balcony was amazing (in the photo). It’s within walking distance to the beach, less than 5 minutes, and close to all of the big tourist restaurants in Dadonghai. The location is super great.

Advantages 1️⃣Unbeatable sea view, standing on this balcony makes me feel so happy!!! It's better to live in a higher place, and other facilities (●.●) are a bit ok haha. 2️⃣The location is very good, it's convenient to come here, it's convenient to go anywhere, and it's very close to the beach, 5 minutes walk from the community, I think the sea is also OK, relatively clean. It's convenient to eat in the city center~3️⃣The service is also very good, there will be a housekeeper to communicate in advance, the Northeast elder sister is very straightforward („• ֊ •„)੭ 4️⃣The house is big, enough for a family. 5️⃣The furniture is still old, and the toilet has a bit of smell. I will continue to consider living here next time I come to Dadonghai~ In addition, it's really convenient to live in a homestay, you can wash and hang clothes. I dare not wash in a hotel for fear that it will not dry.

I stayed here for 10 days last year, on this side of the road. There is less noise in the upper floors. The room is clean and has plenty of hot water. This store is in a good location, just outside the bus station, with easy access to various attractions. Close to Big Pineapple, it is very convenient for eating and shopping. Very close to the seaside and Dadonghai Plaza! The only downside is the breakfast, which is located on the basement floor without an elevator. The food is average but filling.

The location was great! The beach area was nice but it’s not always allowed to swim. We paid for breakfast but we’re not allowed to take much food to our room and had to show what we took. Therefore if you buy breakfast you should make time to eat it in the dinning room, otherwise it’s a waste of money. We were allowed to have a late checkout free of charge which was nice. This hotel is mostly foreigner friendly if you can speak Chinese. If you are a black foreigner it will be an uncomfortable stay.

The hotel is situated in a very touristy area. Many Russian-speaking tourists. There is a mall by the hotel and a food court area across the street, the beach is within walking distance. The room was clean it came with basic amenities, I would take an extension lead to charge multiple devices. The elevators are very slow and if you want to relax by the pool and find a place to sit you need to go early as the seats get taken fast. The gym area has enough equipment to get the job done. Check-in and check-out were very fast, we had no problems. If you cannot speak Chinese they will translate. There were a few rude entitled tourists. Be courteous and respectful to the workers and people trying to help, and make an effort to use their language either via a translation app or learn a few words. You will see the instant appreciation and respect for trying. If you go to the front of the pineapple and walk left for about 5/10min you can find some Western restaurants called the Dolphin, Little India and an Italian place. If you want coffee early in the morning there is a Starbucks on that same road that opens at 7:00 am. Overall it was a good stay for a business trip with no issues.
