To sum it up, this was a nearly perfect vacation, and in my opinion, if you're looking for a quiet, tranquil, and comfortable resort experience, then Banyan Tree Sanya is the absolute best in Sanya! Beyond these advantages that surpass other hotels, Banyan Tree doesn't skimp on the expected perks of a luxury brand. First, the online claims of outdated facilities are unfounded; everything is in perfect working order. Second, regarding hygiene, even with a private pool villa nestled in the rainforest, I found the cleanliness to be absolutely up to standard! I was also quite satisfied with breakfast, especially the sour and spicy seafood noodles and the egg tarts – absolutely superb! And most importantly, the service. You can tell the front desk and concierge staff are genuinely dedicated; they are very patient and communicate and resolve issues promptly. Since it was our anniversary, they even upgraded our room when available, a big thank you to our butler, Youyou, for this wonderful hospitality! Overall, this trip far exceeded my expectations, and I am extremely satisfied!

Go in the morning for some shimmering, super therapeutic photos 📸 The rooftop terrace offers stunning sunset views too, perfect for silhouette shots in a dress. The town is full of snacks and coffee shops. The MGM Grand Sanya hotel was the last of our six hotels from our trip to China. We booked the Corona Sunset Sea-view Suite - Extra-large Ocean View Terrace via trip.com. This spacious two-room suite is 130 sq m with a large 100 sq m terrace. At reception we were immediately connected on WeChat to Sheldon, a butler who speaks excellent English and some Russian. The suite, with large floor-to-ceiling windows, is fully equipped: a capsule coffee machine, a hairdryer, an ironing board, an iron, fully automatic toilets (two in our room), slippers, robes for adults and children, and toiletries, including baby toiletries. We were especially pleased with the large live indoor flowers in the room. There is a minibar. Along the entire transparent terrace railing, on the left and right, there are fresh flowers with cute blue blossoms, which creates an additional cozy atmosphere: The terrace has sun loungers, a large table with chairs, and a small table with armchairs. There's also a clothes dryer, which is very convenient. The terrace offers a beautiful view of the sea and the hotel grounds. We recommend booking this room or villa, as breakfast in these room types is served in a restaurant next to the beach overlooking the sea. This restaurant offers both a buffet and an à la carte menu. Everything was delicious, and the service was excellent. There weren't many guests at breakfast in this restaurant. We also had breakfast in the main restaurant, but we really enjoyed the breakfast and service in this restaurant near the beach. The sea was excellent; there were some waves, but we swam. There were always sun loungers available by the sea. The hotel is large, with many children. Generally, the hotel is geared toward families with children, as there are plenty of activities for children. Some might find it noisy, but our room with a terrace was peaceful and quiet. Our booking package included a photo shoot, and we loved the photos – they were truly professional and beautiful. We want to say a big thank you to our butler, Sheldon, who was always available, answered all our questions, and made our stay even more comfortable. Upon check-in we encountered several cleaning issues, which Sheldon promptly resolved, for which we are very grateful. We have only positive impressions from my stay at this hotel!

This place is super convenient, whether you're driving or taking a taxi. The owner offers pick-up, and it's also easy to get around on foot once you're here. It's located in a villa community with a three-bedroom, two-bathroom setup, plus a kitchen and living room – just like a real home. The rooms are clean and tidy, perfect for families or a group of friends. If you stay for a few days, you can truly experience living like a local; you can even buy groceries and cook. The price is fair, and they offer one free drop-off daily within a 6km radius, which is super handy as taxis only take 1-3 minutes. Honestly, I found it even more convenient than driving. You can also rent electric scooters for getting around. The pictures were taken when I left, but it was even tidier upon check-in. The 500 deposit was returned promptly after check-out.

We chose this hotel as a one-night stopover. Our whole family stayed in a two-story villa. The villa is very dated, especially the living room and kitchen area. Other rooms were a bit better. One inconvenience about the villa was that the living room was separate from the sleeping areas; you had to go outside and re-enter. Another awkward point was that the rooms on both the first and second floors were locked. You constantly had to carry your key card with you. Otherwise, for a one or two-day stay, it's a good choice. This stay truly exceeded my expectations, largely thanks to the exceptional service from our butler, Xiao Jin. I have to commend her highly. From her proactive inquiries about any special needs before check-in, handling the check-in process, reserving our dinner table, to assisting with various requests during our stay, and even arranging airport transfer after we checked out – Xiao Jin was always patient, responsive, and meticulously thorough. Her attentiveness to detail was evident, never intrusive, yet always there when needed. The professional and thoughtful service made our stay incredibly relaxing and comfortable. I'm thoroughly satisfied. The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Yalong Bay, specifically by the Yalong Bay Totem Pole. The surrounding area offers plenty of shopping and dining options. While a few of the hotel's facilities were a bit underwhelming, it is, after all, an established high-end hotel with a rich heritage. Overall, it's highly recommended!

Our stay at the Yalong Bay Mangrove Tree Resort was absolutely fantastic! Beautiful scenery, excellent service, and comprehensive facilities – we'll definitely choose this place again next time. We arrived at 1:30 PM and were able to check in immediately. We booked two nights in a Coconut Grove Seaview Room, which stated it offered a 20-degree sea view. Room 2327, which we were given, was the closest to the sea, and the balcony view was wonderfully expansive. Upon arrival, the front desk staff helped with our luggage and delivered it to our room. In the evening, we received welcome fruits and milk, and at checkout, we got a small gift – a truly special touch. The breakfast spread was rich and varied, and the dining environment was lovely. The hotel has several restaurants with reasonable prices, and the food was delicious in terms of taste, color, and aroma. The beach management was also excellent: safe storage for valuables, beach chairs and towels readily available, and lifeguards on patrol – everything was well taken care of. A big thank you to our butler, Coral, who responded instantly to messages and promptly resolved any issues perfectly. We are genuinely satisfied and look forward to our next stay!

The environment is very good. My family is very satisfied. The room is large and clean. The community environment is also very good. It is only a 10-minute walk from the beach, which is very convenient. The living facilities in the room are complete and suitable for living. There is a swimming pool outside the house. The scenery is very good. The surrounding transportation is also very convenient. It is very comfortable to live~

The decor is a bit old-fashioned, and the shower drain in the room was clogged. The bedding felt damp, but the cleaning lady was excellent. Seeing that there were four of us, and worried that the two beds might be too small, she kindly brought an extra comforter and suggested the sofa could also be used for sleeping. I'd say this hotel is mostly frequented by foreigners; I almost felt like I was abroad myself! The front desk staff was also very good. I had originally booked two nights, but after checking in, I wanted to cancel one night, and they agreed without any hassle.

Our family's stay in Sanya this time was a great overall experience. The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient to get around, and it's very close to the beach, just a short walk away. The room was clean and tidy, well-equipped, and the bedding was very comfortable to sleep in. The staff were enthusiastic and polite, and responded promptly. The environment is quiet, perfect for seniors and children to rest. The breakfast selection was rich and tasty. Our comfortable stay definitely enhanced this trip. It's highly recommended for family travel, and we would consider staying here again next time.
