This isn't my first time staying at Jinjiang. I used to prefer the Jin Nan building, which was a great experience, but this time I chose the Jin Bei building, and it was even better. I especially love its grand yet understated exterior, filled with memories of an era, a classic landmark on Maoming South Road that has witnessed history. It and its renowned owner will surely become a vibrant footnote in modern Chinese history. Although it's an old hotel, it perfectly blends luxury with a humanist spirit, as if every amenity is full of stories. I'll definitely choose it again on my next trip to Shanghai.

Had a weekend getaway with friends and stayed at the Jinjiang Hotel. The environment was lovely and the facilities were complete. The female lobby manager had excellent service awareness, which really enhanced our stay, haha! It was a beautiful weekend, and I loved the Christmas decorations in the North Wing.

This is a very stylish old-school 5-star hotel in Shanghai. The room was comfortable, the service was excellent, and the breakfast buffet was great with a wide variety of delicious options. A classic Art Deco building with an undeniable prime location.
However, the room I actually stayed in was completely different from what was shown on Trip.com. The sofa, desk, and other furnishings in the photos were nowhere to be found. I specifically called the front desk to inquire, and they insisted it was the same room type, just with a different layout and furniture.
I couldn't be bothered to argue with them. When staying at a hotel, the room type and layout are key. What Jinjiang did is, to put it nicely, misleading, and to put it bluntly, fraudulent.
