I would give the hotel a 4.5*. They provided free pickup and drop off from/to train station/airport. They also have oxygen concentrator in every room if you experience severe altitude sickness. The toilet seat was heated. You can wash your clothes (not thick ones though as there was no dryer) for free with free detergent. Dry it in your room at the heater provided.
There are 4 floors to the hotel, I accidentally booked a mountain view room which was the only room at the roof top...there are no lifts! (so if you have a large heavy luggage beware - the hotel staff was kind enough to carry it up after check-in and down when checking out! When booking they actually indicate which floor the room is located)
I found out the next day that they replace the towels, empty the dust bin BUT did not clean the room or bathroom, make the bed or replace the water bottles (if this is a major issue for you maybe this may not be the hotel for you).
There are a few halal restaurants just 100 m near the hotel. It is quite far from the Dukezong Ancient City Center about 1.7 km.

The owner was truly wonderful, and communication with her was very pleasant. She was always quick and happy to offer transportation to the station, and consistently went out of her way to help us with anything we needed. It was an absolute joy meeting her during this trip!
Cleanliness: Very clean.
Ambiance: The lobby area was great.
Service: Top-notch.
Facilities: My only minor suggestion for improvement would be to ensure bath towels and hand towels are replaced more promptly during cleaning. That said, when we brought it to the owner's attention, she quickly provided fresh ones.

The location is superb, just a stone's throw from the old town, and the area is wonderfully quiet. The room itself was very spacious and spotlessly clean. A thoughtful touch was the oxygen concentrator, which made for a very comfortable stay. The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming; you can often find them in the common area for a friendly chat. Plus, they have two adorable little cats! Highly recommended!
