"The hotel's location is fantastic, right on the beach, and there's a restaurant downstairs too. The sea view from the balcony is beautiful, a full 180-degree direct view of the beach and ocean! The service was excellent; the front desk helped me call a taxi and recommended places to eat and things to do. It's a shame the weather wasn't ideal, but I'm planning to come back again in the summer!"

"So beautiful island and cute hotel. For me was really big surprise that near Shanghai have such a small and cute place. We choose this hotel because of the pool. It’s was so amazing to open balcony and see u private pool. Actually one pool is sharing between 2 room but nobody swim, so everything was only for us. Also the staff in the hotel is helpful, helped with booking tickets, explained about islands, took us to show bioluminescent plankton. Could be nice if hotel provide one free coffee for breakfast (now need to pay) and some international food (was traditional chinese breakfast)"

"I've been to Shengsi many times, and this hotel is by far the most reasonable accommodation. The street food stalls are a rip-off – expensive and not good at all. The hotel owner recommended going to the county town for food, which was a great tip; it was both affordable and delicious. Renting an electric scooter from the owner to tour the island was also fantastic."

"The location can be said to be the C position on the island, facing the sea and facing the main street. After reading the reviews, I booked three days at Alice without hesitation. As expected, I was not disappointed. The room was very clean. After the aunt cleaned, the staff had to check it, which was very responsible. Every night, a young lady took me to see the fluorescent sea. The young lady knew that my feet were not good and waited for me specially. She also introduced the island on the way. If it weren't for the upcoming school, I really wanted to stay for a few more days. I like this kind of isolated and slow life. My son said this is the best homestay he has ever lived in. It was too hard to encounter a typhoon on the way back, and I went back all the way. The owner of the homestay also sent a message to take care of the strong winds and waves and pay attention to rest on the boat, which is very heartwarming. For those who have requirements for homestay 🈶️ check-in, choosing Alice is right."

"It was my first time to arrange my own itinerary. I compared many hotels and finally chose this one. The result was unexpectedly good. After my first night, the sound of the air conditioner affected my sleep. After talking to the landlady, I decided to change the room. I was very touched. The second night was very comfortable. I had two lunches at the boss’s house. They all bought fresh seafood from the market and cooked it themselves. It can be said that the cooking skills are as good as those in other restaurants. The boss caught the seafood today. I also helped with the processing, which is really full of praise. Before leaving the island today, the boss taught us how to book a boat at a low price. We learned from it and we will come again next year. We will also choose Xinyue. Thank you to the boss, wife and family for taking care of us for 2 days."
