"The cabin was clean and comfortable. The one bed cabin was just the right size to spend some time together as a couple. The full-length window beside the bed gives a beautiful view into the woods, and neighoring cabins are far enough away to rarely be noticed. Kitchen supplies are light, so bringing your own cooking and grilling utensils might not be a bad idea. The drive up the the cabins can be a little rough on the gravel road, but our sedan made it well enough. You are out in the middle of the woods, so expect some bugs to follow you inside occasionally and know that you'll have little to no cell service."

"Well I wanted to write a nice review for the sweet young couple that owns this place, but it seems others have already said pretty much everything I was going to say. This is not the Ritz-Carlton. It's no-frills. When I arrived the gentleman owner was folding fresh towels in my room and I joked with him that I was disappointed because I'd requested the towels be folded into little swan shapes. But I'm not removing a star for that haha Bottom line: the Barnwood Inn was clean, the bed was fine, and value was good. That's all I really need or expect for a location such as this, so I'm satisfied just with that. The fact they've done a little extra with the themed decor is kind of tasteful and shows a little extra effort to make it a pleasant stop on your travels."

"Trapped by the snowstorm, temporarily stayed for one night, the price is a little cheaper than the c hotel next door, the quality is great, the standard holiday inn breakfast, the interior is clean, much more novel than the c hotel next door, it is worth 120 dollars The price, the c hotel is damp and moldy, the sink bathtub is blocked, disgusting and strange, The P aunt at the counter is very kind. You have to charge an additional $20 for booking through trip.com, saying that it will be refunded, but I haven't received a refund after a few days. I hope I can refund it at the end of the month."

"I thought at first sight the room was fine. When I got up and was gathering my things, I saw a bed bug. I immediately shook my things out and loaded my car up. I went to get a refund, they were only going to give me half of my money back. I then complained more and they gave me the whole amount back. Place would’ve been great if it hadn’t been for finding the bed bug. When I arrived I had checked and there were none."
