The hotel is well located in the heart of Gusu district. There are many busy streets around with clothing stores and restaurants. The hotel itself is large. The check in was pleasant, as was checking out. There are some English speaking staff if speaking Chinese is not possible. We stayed in the Premier Queen room, which was completely fine. Comfy bed, working appliances. The only issue was that the tap in the sink was leaking for our whole stay. We probably should have brought it up. The pool is nice, a 5th floor open deck area. Unfortunately, it is only open after 4:30pm. They have a pretty decent gym, as far as wanting to exercise while staying in a hotel goes anyway. Fair to say we would gladly stay again if we chose to go back to Suzhou.

This is the first time I write a ✍️ review. We arrived at the hotel at 9pm, and the hotel even gave me an extra breakfast coupon for a child. I am very grateful to the hotel for its generosity. When you go out of the hotel, turn right and you will see Pingjiang Road, which is just a few steps away. It's 100m away. It's very close to the Humble Administrator's Garden, the Lion Grove and the Suzhou Museum. The Pipa Museum and Pingtan are also not far away. It's a great place to bring your children. It's quite convenient. You can spend two or three days in Suzhou. Here, my dad felt that the hotel restaurant was the most satisfying meal he had. The pickled cucumbers are definitely the best in cold dishes. The breakfast in the hotel was also pretty good 👍 Overall it was pretty good!

My family and I had a fantastic stay at Andu Hotel. Their service started from the moment we arrived in Suzhou station, up until the moment we left Suzhou. I want to thank Manager Meng who took us to the hotel from the station and gave us so many amazing recommendations to eat and visit around Suzhou. (We spoke in Chinese so it may have been easier to communicate that way, but I can’t speak for service in English.) There were so much amazing food within the vicinity of the hotel. There’s a restaurant called 鑫震源 (XinZhenYuan) right across the street from the hotel that is famous for their pan fried dumplings that’s definitely worth a try. The environment of the hotel is also very clean and well organised. The inside looks way bigger than it looks on the outside. The lobby is very modern and spacious. However there is a ramp leading up to the lobby area that may be a little steep but you only really have to go there during checkin :) Our family room had two bedrooms, each with their own TV and controls. Their facilities were also very modern; it was a smart room with stuff like switch controlled curtains. For us, we loved how their TV also had many choices for their shows, and we had access to their VIP episodes as well! Breakfast selection was also pretty good! But I was in Suzhou for the food anyways so I didn’t eat that much 🥲 There’s also free access to their laundry room with detergent provided (but you have to wash yourself). One thing to note, if you booked a family room and you have an elderly with you, you might want to notify them as rooms on level 3 are apparently only accessible by stairs, but this should not be a point to deter you away from the hotel. Just for their friendliness and impeccable service, I will definitely be back again when I return to Suzhou. My family and I loved the stay!

The hotel is very clean and have free laundry which is a big plus for us! Staffs are friendly! It’s not on the main street so you need to go through a parking lot in order to see the hotel. It’s opposite a temple and just a few minutes walk from Chayuanchang station. Convenient location! We had a happy stay :)

Very good location, in the center of the old town, walking distance to Guangchien Street, easy access to subway system. I stayed three nights, very friendly and helpful staff, helped me getting around. I forgot to bring some of my pernal items that I left in my room, and I called them after two days of my departure, the staff immediately located my stuff and send them back to me via courier with n hour. The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel was a few hundred meters away from the subway station which was convenient to travel around the city. Upon check-in the staff were unfriendly and unprofessional. There were a few others checking in and the staff had no order in doing this. It was chaos. The lady at the check-in actually helped others who arrived after me to check-in first. It was very unprofessional and quite frustrating for us. I will not stay at this hotel nor would I recommend it to other friends, I'd rather stay at other hotels in the area.

Really popular old hotel, lots of people. Staff spoke English (which is not the norm in China). The hotel has a “theme”, not sure which theme it is (😂), but at least is not a copy-paste business hotel. Latin music was playing in the lobby. Breakfast was surprisingly good. Lots and lots of options. From rabbit candy to pork buns. The best thing is that it is included for free. The not so good part: room shows the age of the hotel. A bit dusty in some areas, bathroom door didn’t fully close. Leaving a considerable gap. My girlfriend and I had to take turns to use the toilet comfortably, but we were there only one night so it wasn’t a deal breaker. We got a really really good deal for the one night + breakfast, so I feel that its short comings can be excused.
