Pullman properties in Sydney

The room isn't big, and neither is the lobby. I booked this last minute for a layover, mistakenly thinking the hotel was inside the terminal, which was my own error, so I can't blame the hotel. The airport shuttle service was not cheap, and surprisingly, it was outsourced rather than using the hotel's own vehicles to go directly to the airport. It even made detours to pick up guests from other hotels before heading to the airport, which was a first for me.

Pros: 1. The hotel's location is unbeatable, right next to Hyde Park. It's walking distance to Westfield, the Australian Museum, and the Big Bus stop. 2. For those renting a car, it's super convenient as it's directly an Eurocar pickup point. 3. There are plenty of great eateries nearby. If you're staying here, I'd say skip the hotel breakfast entirely and explore the various brunch spots around. Especially about 300-400 meters from the hotel, there's a fantastic Chaco Ramen place – their Yuzu Scallop ramen is highly recommended! We stayed for four days and ate there twice; both the adults and kids loved it. Cons: 1. The hotel is indeed old, and the facilities generally show their age. This is especially true for the sofa and chairs in the room, which felt a bit dirty. 2. The daily housekeeping service was really subpar; it feels like there's no consistent training. One day they'd toss your pajamas here, the next day they'd put them there... and sometimes, if they felt like it, they'd provide amenities, but if not, even if you were out, they wouldn't replenish them. Used cups also seemed to be placed wherever, without a fixed spot. 3. It felt like there were a lot of Indian guests staying at the hotel. If you're okay with that, then disregard this point. 4. The hotel elevators are very slow, which is particularly frustrating during peak times in the morning when there's heavy traffic!

Our 2-night stay was generally nice and easy, especially for a family with kids. The children absolutely loved the bathtub, which was a highlight for them. One thing to note is that the room has limited soundproofing, so noise from kids can be heard in nearby rooms. We also experienced some issues with the telephone connection, which wasn’t very clear. That said, the balcony view overlooking Circular Quay Harbour was truly beautiful and a big plus—especially in the morning and at night. Breakfast was excellent 💕👌 and definitely something we looked forward to each day. Overall, a pleasant stay with great views and breakfast, ideal for families who don’t mind a few minor inconveniences.

Very good hotel service. After check-out, the hotel also helped me find the thermos cup I lost in the room. The location is 20 minutes away from the city by taxi. Opposite the hotel is the Olympic Sports Center, not a commercial area.

Located in the prime location, easy reach to shops, central, restaurants, we enjoyed the stay in the hotel with a great cozy room, modern bathroom, customer service, daily room service, friendly staff, secured parking, adequate amenities and as a creamy layer, FREE EV charging station. I highly recommend this for the location and amenities, tidy spacious room and bathroom and all above features. One thing that I would like to suggest is to please provide clear adequate signs (EV charging stations)in the parking to avoid circling around.
