Absolutely go ahead and BOOK this gem in Takamatsu as it’s an enormous blessing to find!! Minutes on foot from a train station (Hanazono, which accepts SuiCA FYI) and many great eats, and not only is the WakabaYa website (read it!!) an excellent resource for the different things to do/eat in Takamatsu/Shikoku, but as an extremely experienced traveller the proprietor of WakabaYa, Takeshi-san, has designed the perfect guest house. The house is perfectly clean, the rooms are sunny and delightful, the futons extremely comfortable, the kitchen well-furnished and the washing machine a life saver (and there are clotheslines in the room themselves), and any concerns you may have about a shared bathroom (I know I did due to bad memories from university) should immediately be banished - Takeshi-san offers a free flow of freshly-laundered towels and takes great care that the shower, baths and toilets were pristine (and as a guest I made sure to leave everything in the same way). And a final shout out to Takeshi-san and his beautiful family, who was always ready on hand to respond to any worries, queries and questions I may have. I can happily say that I had a wonderful healing time in Takeshi-san’s lovely guest house and I’m already planning when to return to my new home in Takamatsu :) 若葉屋はすごく綺麗だし、オーナーさんもすごく親切な人だし、いろいろお世話になりました。若葉屋の部屋は明るくて、布団もシャワーも清潔でした。ホームページもわかりやすい。朝に*かけご飯を作るのために、オーナーさんから、オーナーの親戚の稲田に育てたお米も買えて、美味しすぎてたまらなかった。すっかりした七泊を過ごしました。ありがとうございます！

It is a formal hotel that can stay at a reasonable price, although it is a little far from the station. Because I used it on a trip to sanuki Udon, it was good to be able to access the famous shop where the procession can be made in taga town on foot (２０ minutes) after the first walk in the morning. Other than that, the parking lot was ２４ free time access, so it was convenient. The room used a standard twin. It's not large, but it was comfortable with no inconvenience, clean and well-cleaned in a beautiful room. This is a hotel you want to use again when staying in Takamatsu.

I only stayed for one night, but I entered the natural hot spring three times. You can get rid of fatigue and warm up. The large bath is the best. The room is small but very grateful that all amenities, pots and humidified air purifiers are prepared. The bed was comfortable and I rented a soft pillow and slept soundly. The breakfast buffet was revived and I was able to eat it well from the morning. It's delicious, there are desserts, and vending machines are free in the morning, so you can even get coffee afterwards. Even though it is this price, this performance is more than 100 points. Infection control is also firm, and it is the first time to wear gloves and use tongs to divide them up at breakfast. The staff also finds time to clean and disinfect. I liked the route inn, so I used it for a trip to Shikoku with a couple. It is still new and clean. The room is also comfortable as a wide 々. The public bath is not so large on the １ floor. The staff is very polite and helpful at home. When I asked if the parking lot was full at a late arrival, I said, ”it's okay. There are enough cars. If you don't have enough, you will get off the employee's car.” I was so happy. Breakfast is always satisfactory. One of the breakfasts in the route inn seems to have local products. The dining room staff is also kind and polite.
