"The hotel's location near pedestrian and shopping streets makes it easy to get around on foot. The bedding was comfortable, and the room was clean. It's a shame the ceiling covering clashes a bit with the rest of the room (giving it a somewhat dated look). The availability of drinks and cakes at any time, as well as the "aperitivo," were a welcome bonus during our stay and much appreciated. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Overall, a very pleasant stay."

"A beautiful place to stay for a night on the way from Provence back to the Eurotunnel (we would happily have stayed an extra night). Really pretty old hotel with very attentive staff and a beautiful courtyard. It’s a couple of minutes walk to the very attractive town centre where there’s a big choice of restaurants. There’s no private parking so the choice is squeezing into on-street spaces or driving a couple of minutes to the nearest underground car park which the hotel can give you a 5 euro ticket for. Double bedroom was small but nicely appointed, although no air conditioning, just a fan. Would recommend. The sister hotel next door is 5-star, this was the slightly cheaper option, although the very small swimming pool and either courtyard could be used by all residents."

"Two small problems during my stay: A small message at the top of the management office: Why are there no more toilet brushes? I had to buy one to clean up after using the toilet. It's not the cleaning staff's job to clean up after some particularly disgusting guests (because there are no brushes!!!). You should do what you do with bath towels: after a guest's stay, put the toilet brush in the laundry and replace it with a clean one for the next guest. And a second small problem: on my last night around 11 pm, I put my key card in the reader and the lights stopped working. The very kind receptionist gave me another room within 5 minutes. But otherwise, very good overall."

"Sympathetic and serviceable staff. But the rooms are 30° and even with the fan does nothing, it is hot air. The staff answer, we are a 2 stars, there will never be co air. But mosquitoes, outdoor stores, an isolator on the outer faces .... shortly pick up the wrong design of the building. Personally, without change, I will be dismissing your offers. We're getting tired back when you come from having a night without real sleep. Hello"

"We stayed in this beautiful historical hotel for one night on the way back to the UK from a week in Provence and wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel is lovely with two peaceful internal courtyards where we had drinks and breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful and the service was excellent. It's 5 - 10 minutes to all the shops and restaurants in the centre of Troyes. We would definitely go back. Highly recommended."

"The studio apartment was small and cramped on the top floor, with a feeling of suffocation and insufficient light. The blind was broken, and the price was too high, even though it was already on sale. It's only suitable for one night, no more. Otherwise, the host was responsive and provided clear instructions."

"I reserve for 3 people , in the apartment quite well placed and well equipped , 2 wallpapers , and no drape or haircut for the 3rd occupant ... Keys must be recovered to another address between 16 and 21h St Georges hotel , not practical , I find it by arrival , and on the phone, the person tells me that it is indicated and that they tell the renters by SMS , but I haven't received anything because they tell me that Expedia sold the room to Trip so they didn't have my number, so if you are aware why not indicate it directly and clearly on the product sheet , I think it is them to make sure that different information about their apartments ... A marble excuse without looking at it when I get the keys ... This is not all product , they also left plastic boxes on the floor , I feel like I'm fucking fucking and I'm not a very demanding person . In short , the apartment was not bad , but all the rest was wasting the experience ! "
