"We have been going to Vail and staying at Antlers for a number of years . Proximity to the mountain and amenities that Vail has to offer is ideal. The ski valet service is great, they also have an in house chef who can cater a meal for the unit. We had a four bedroom unit that was spacious and comfortable with a great view of the mountain"

"We had a comfortable stay at Simba Run for family of four. It had excellent amenities like full kitchen, washer/dryer, pool, gym, parking and ski shuttle. The only thing missing is blackout blinds or curtains. The service staff are very nice people and they are always available to help."

"I want to start off by saying: We had the best experience. check in was easy and the front desk personnel were very helpful in supplying all the valuable information we needed. When we got to our room, we were very pleased. It was a 1 bedroom, spacious, unit. Our view was of the mountain. We were very pleased that the bed was a king and not a queen. The unit had 2 bathrooms, one with a tub and the other with a shower. The showers was fairly small, but even at 6’3” and over weight, there was room to take care of business. The kitchen was well portioned. You really could not ask for anything more. there were two couches in the unit. Both of them have the ability to make into a bed. We didn’t use them, but there were there if you wanted them. There was also an oversized seat in the bedroom that made into a bed. I loved that there were two large TV’s in the unit with very good cable. We had no problems with it. The WiFi was very reliable and efficient. Probably one of the best benefits is that there is a shuttle from Streamside to Lionshead and Vail free of charge. It left the place every hour and half hour and you can come back every half hour as well. This was really nice. Both of the r drivers were friendly and even helpful with information. The pool is a great benefit. You can go inside and out and the water is heated to like 85 degrees. There are a lot of amenities available as well, ping pong, games, racketball, and more. This was a great facility."

Marriott's StreamSide Birch at Vail

"I reserved a studio villa at Birch and it has a murphy bed. I honestly think the one weird thing (and I've stayed at other places/hotels with Murphy beds) was there were no sheets ready to go on the bed and pillows were no where to be found. Had to dig around and I found a bag in the closet that had a flat sheet and a pillow, but surely it is all extra bedding. Not even a comforter to be found. Never had to make my own bed in a hotel..."

Legendary Lodging at the Ritz Carlton Residences Vail, A Vail Resorts Property Hotels in Vail

Legendary Lodging at the Ritz Carlton Residences Vail, A Vail Resorts Property

"The Ritz Carlton Residences in Vail claim to be 5-star luxury residences, and maybe this was true at some point in the past. Now, they are in serious need of proper maintenance and way overpriced compared to other, better-quality options in Vail/Lionshead area. We checked in for a week for spring break and were given apartment 616. On out first night, we realized the A/C was not working so called down and told reception who said if it was OK, maintenance would come by in the morning. That never happened so I called again and this time a maintenance man did come by but he did not speak English and had no idea what was happening despite me pointing to the A/C controls that were not on. After he left and nothing changed for the rest of that day I called again, and again they sent the same person and again, nothing happened. The major issue here is the apartment was too hot, and the bedrooms had no opening windows. During the evening of our second fill day, I called for a 4th time and this time two gentleman came in who did speak English and they spent 30 mins figuring out the issue before stating the management company knew the A/C was not working in this unit and were surprised they were putting guests in there. They also said, that if they had the parts needed, the repairs would take a number of hours. At this point I said not to do the work that night and called down to reception to get another room. After several calls to reception to get the valet to help us move, we eventually were given Room 111. Room 111, aside from being the most poorly equipped 'Residential Condo' I have ever stayed in, is on the ground floor with two sets of doors opening onto a small patio. Both of these doors had locks that did not work (we were not informed of this) so both doors could be opened from the outside. Rather than fix the locks, the management company had attached cheap latches, which themselves were put on so poorly they latch would not go into the fixing on the doors - I ended up forcing them using an attachment form a mixer in the kitchen to make them lock. This meant were unable to open the doors as it was simply too hard to keep forcing the latches to work. In the morning, I made the mistake of turning on the cold tap in one of the sinks in the main bathroom as that made just the worst noise and the water then came out in a somewhat stuttering style. If someone had rented this condo, that apparently sleeps 6, and had intentions of cooking for 6, they would have serious problems. The cutlery is a mishmash of knives and forks from differing styles and also, there were uneven numbers (6 knives, but only 5 dinner forks and three desert forks, as well as only 3 steak knives). The kitchen had almost no useful tools to cook with and frankly, was symptomatic of the lack of care and attention seen throughout this overpriced establishment. The majority of the staff are very friendly (there is one individual ion valet that clearly does not want to be there and has"

Vail Residences at Cascade Village, Part of Hyatt ★★★★
"We stayed in penthouse number 4 which is a platinum level and it was just okay. There were no napkins, paper towels, kitchen towels, dish soap, pot pad holders in the kitchen. The lighting was terrible - all the light bulbs need up leveled. The blinds in the main room and master bedroom didn't function properly so the view was obscured. Nice amount of space and the bathroom showers were great. We were there during mud season so paid a reasonable rate but otherwise would have been disappointed."
