Azur Hotel Volos ★★★★
"Location of the hotel is perfect, next to the port, but if you prefer sea view make sure you book a room with it. Breakfast could be a bit more rich, but it's still satisfying. Rooms are new, super clean and beautiful."
Domotel Xenia Volos ★★★★★
"The balcony of the room can directly see the ships returning to the port, and the sea is visible as soon as the window is opened. The disadvantage is that it is quite humid, there is an outdoor bar downstairs, and it is quite noisy in the morning"
Hotel Hani Zisi ★★
"Unfortunately, there was a big problem with the fireplace. In the hour that I was able to sit down (because I assumed it was something temporary), I found that the entire 1st floor had a big problem, since it was leaking smoke! When I asked the hotel if there was another room that wasn't leaking, the answer was negative, and the reason for the problem was that it was leaking because "wind is blowing and we can't do anything about it"!!!! Unfortunately for the hotel managers, I work for a technical company and have (also) worked on chimney installations. Therefore, I know that when the chimney is leaking smoke, it's not the wind's fault! Quite simply, either the construction is wrong or the chimney has not been maintained. Too bad, because the place seemed to be about the same as the photos, even if the room (triple) needed a renovation, while the tavern outside looked amazing. I say it seemed because I didn't sit down to eat, of course. Finally, the manager, in addition to writing me down in a place where ink doesn't get caught in my remarks about the tobacco, almost shouted at me (classic behavior of a Greek "businessman" when he doesn't need the customer) because I told him that I would delay leaving a little until I found another place to stay. And because I didn't want to "poison" (literally, because I have respiratory problems, and figuratively) my vacation any more, I got up and left. My "poisoning" cost me an overnight stay, as is also provided for by the hotel's policy. I was expecting something better because of the inconvenience, since I finally found somewhere to stay in the afternoon, and not in the mountains of course, but we said, it was August 15th and they didn't need us, so..."
Portaria Hotel ★★★★
"The hotel is located just 5-10 minutes walk above the lovely village of Portaria. From most of the rooms you have a splendid view over the bay and city of Volos which can be accessed only by car in about 30 minutes along a windy but scenic road. The hotel is divided into several houses with no central hallway. Therefore you have to walk along the parking site in front of the hotel in order to access the wellness area. Swimming pool and fitness room cost an extra charge of 15,- EUR per day and sauna another 10,- EUR per person on top. Therefore we never saw people using it and this seems to be intended. We had a spacious junior suite with our own fire place. But when we lit the fire, the whole room was full of smoke despite a closed glas fire door. It seemed that others had the same problem since the room smelled already smoky on the day of our arrival. The personnel at the reception seems not be prepared for foreigners even though they spoke English quite reasonably. Different people were not very helpful and we always had the impression that they were glad when we did not bother them with questions. One highlight was the breakfast with a wide variety of fruit, bread, cake, cereals, cheese, omelette, sausages, fresh pressed orange juice, mountain tea etc."
Archontiko Evilion ★★★
1910 Lifestyle Hotel ★★★★
"The hotel is conveniently located, about a 10 minute walk from the port. The room is small but clean and tidy. Breakfast is good, and the view is excellent. I booked a sea-view room, which indeed offers a nice sea view, but it is also next to the road, so it can be a bit noisy at night."
Hôtel Argo ★
"I recommend this hotel if you’re going to be getting on the ferry or not. It’s a very nice hotel. The staff was fabulous. The room was great and the bed was awesome."
Aegli Hotel Volos ★★★
"Classic hotel with all what a traveller needs, e.g: helpful staff, clean room. Refrigerator in the room, air-condition, which does not stop working after leaving the room. Good breakfast. Bed was too soft for me, but it is a personal preference. Good breakfast."
Magnes Hotel ★★★★
"We had an absolutely perfect stay at Magnes Hotel! Everything was spotless and well taken care of, but what truly made our holiday exceptional was the incredible team. A huge thank you to all the staff for their kindness, professionalism, and constant attention. Special thanks to Dimitri, the manager, who was always available to answer any of our requests – and went above and beyond every time. Georgia at the reception, along with all her colleagues, welcomed us with infinite kindness and helped us with every detail of our stay. The servers were equally wonderful, combining rare professionalism with genuine warmth, always greeting us with a smile and a kind word. Thanks to their dedication, we were able to fully enjoy our holiday and organize everything seamlessly. We are deeply grateful and will remember this experience for a long time."

Valis Resort Hotel
"The hotel does not quite live up to 5-star standards, although it has a few positive aspects. The room was large and spacious, but poorly ventilated, with signs of dampness – which can be an issue, especially for guests with mold allergies. In the bathroom, several details required attention: the sink faucet was broken, the bathtub had no plug, the jacuzzi system was out of service, there was no shower curtain (making showers uncomfortable and slippery), and the entrance door was damaged. Additionally, the cabinet housing the fridge was swollen from moisture. Regarding general facilities, the absence of a terrace or balcony was a drawback. The air conditioning in the hallways was not working, and there was a persistent smell of fried food from the kitchen, combined with stained carpets in the corridors, which created an unpleasant atmosphere. At night, the noise from the air conditioning compressors was disturbing. As for the beach, I did not ask or check about its location, but the photos might give the impression that the hotel is right next to it – which is not the case. Breakfast was generous, though not very varied. Overall, the experience felt closer to a 3-star stay rather than a 5-star one."
Elite Cottages
Hotel Karagianni
"We had the friendliest welcome of all our stays this trip. We are on a ladies motorbike tour of Greece so a warm welcome and immediate space made available for our bikes right outside the hotel was hugely appreciated. The rooms exceeded all expectation with thoughtful touches like a separate makeup face towel and toiletries which were lovely. Fluffy dressing gowns and slippers made it feel much more luxurious than the stars and price would suggest and the bed was the most comfortable of the whole trip for me. Air con worked perfectly so I got the best night sleep also and woke to an outstanding breakfast! Highly recommended and we’re very likely to stop off again on the way back through."
Palladio Hotel - Portaria
"The room was awful when you entered the room.Of the five rooms only in one had towels, so we could get us to the rest of their rooms we asked for it three times and they finally brought them in the evening. The worst was that they did not turn on the heating, and in the rooms the temperature barely reached 18 degrees (then they closed the heating and fell to 16). Every 2-3 hours we had the time to look for the person responsible to do something with the burner that didn't work (even at 4 o'clock we were looking to turn on the heating so we wouldn't freeze). You understand that in a mountain destination and indeed in winter this is a big problem; the score with 1 star is done because there is no 0 (or even less)."

"19/06-22/06 Very cosy hotel very polite people very convenient spot in the town of Myconos!Great breakfast very quiet!!The staff was very professional and friendly!Always at our disposal!Thank you all!See you soon!I have already made recommendations to my friends"
Xenia Palace Portaria
"I and my wife stayed for 2 nights during a conference for pediatrics. The hotel has an interesting old architecture with heavy rustic furniture in the lounge and bar and more modern in the rooms. The breakfast room and the restaurant are placed outside of the hotel with a very good view to city of Volos and Pagasitikos golf. Breakfast is quiet good and rich. The stuff is well trained and gentle. The hotel is about 10 min by feet away of the village centre."

"Very beautiful mountain town and hotel"
Manthos Mountain Resort & Spa
"If you are looking for a destination that combines comfort, hospitality and natural beauty, then Manthos Hotels Mountain Resort & Spa in Pelion is an ideal choice. Our stay there was extremely pleasant and unforgettable. From the first moment we distinguished the warmth and kindness of the staff. Everyone was helpful and willing to help us with our every need, making us feel at home. Special mention deserves Mrs. Kiki at the reception, who was always available, with a smile and a real desire to serve. Our room was clean, comfortable and offered peace and relaxation. The breakfast was rich and tasty, with a variety of options that satisfy all tastes. In the restaurant, Mr. Grigoris stood out for his professionalism and kindness, as did all the staff, who contributed to our beautiful experience. We would like to warmly thank everyone for the hospitality and say with certainty that we will return! Manthos Hotels is a jewel in Pelion that is worth visiting."

Kenta Mountain Hotel
"nice and relaxing great service and very good restaurant ,. the room are clean and large,. all seem newly renovated ,. the owner are very welcoming and warm,."
Tasia Mountain Hotel
"The hotel was centrally located for visiting both the east and west coasts of the northern area of the Pelion peninsula, (an area known for its winding roads which take a long time to get around). It was also spotlessly clean & comfortable and the breakfast superb. However, what makes this hotel really special is the warm, family atmosphere created by Anastasia who does everything she can to make your stay extra special. We would give her 15 out of 10 if we could! There is nothing to dislike but customers should be aware that out of season, there are no restaurants in the immediate vicinity and we therefore profited from Anastasia's snack menu each evening."
Hotel Nefeli
"We stayed in Room 601, not a bad view, of this small hotel, right in the middle of town, walking distance to waterfront. Room was very clean and modern, with a good shower, and few toiletries. We did find the bed a bit small though and we are not tall people. The buffet breakfast was quite traditional and very nice. Would stay her again and recommend."
