The Dorset Golf Hotel ★★★
"I recently stayed at the Dorset Hotel. Overall, it was an okay experience. The room itself was very small for two people, which made it feel a bit cramped, and it could have been a little cleaner. One thing to be aware of is that reception closes at 5pm, so after that you need to collect your keys from the bar, which isn’t the most convenient. On the positive side, parking was excellent it’s free and you can park anywhere, which was really handy. I also asked about a late checkout, but the hotel said they were fully booked. Standard checkout is 10am, which feels a bit early compared to other places I’ve stayed. Apart from those points, everything else was good and the stay was comfortable enough."

"Excellent location : At of lulworth cove and at the beginning of the walk to Durdle door ( 30 min). Small hotel of 20 rooms , nicely decorated rooms with lounge corner ,.desk.and chair, bath and shower, lovely breakfast room ( mini paint au chocolat and croissant , bread , butter , jam, honey , marmite , a few usual cereals like coco pops, cherios type, muesli, orange or appl juice , banana, apple or small oranges ), some tables outside on the patio as well. The location is definitely 10/10"

Mortons Manor ★★★
"Mortons Manor is well-located in the centre of Corfe Castle with the Castle just a short walk away. The hotel is very quiet and very relaxing. Furnishing reflect the style of the building itself - the comfort of yesteryear rather than something more modern and functional. There's plenty of parking. Accessibility for one of our group who uses a wheelchair was first rate. The room was good, the bed comfortable and it was spotlessly clean. Equally good was the food - for breakfast and for dinner. The staff were excellent - welcoming, friendly and efficient. Overall our stay was relaxing, problem-free and pretty good value for money."

Kingston Country Courtyard ★★★★
"Wow, this hotel is absolutely fantastic! The location is great, the rooms are comfortable and clean, and the garden is beautiful. I would love to stay here for a few more days if I could. It's very convenient to get to nearby attractions, and the receptionist was very helpful in proactively recommending places to visit."

The Bear Hotel ★★
"My wife and I booked The Bear for a long weekend stay. We were very pleased with our experience. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Aloysius Room. It was a lovely big room with an enormous bed (very comfy). The bath/shower room was very modern and the bath was a feature in itself (See photo). The room did overlook the main road and you could hear the traffic noise, but this wasn't really a problem for us. Although The Bear didn't have its own car park, there are several nearby - both short and long stay. We parked at the Connenger Long Stay car park. It was a four minute walk from there to the hotel. Parking fees were of the order of £6-7 for 24 hours. I used the JustPark app to pay. Phone reception around Wareham is a bit borderline, but I was able to connect the app from the car park (O2 provider). We had our first evening meal at The Bear. It was very tasty and reasonably priced. The service was excellent. We had meals elsewhere for the rest of the weekend simply for a bit of variety. We had all our breakfasts at there. They were excellent, with plenty of options. My only gripe was the meat sausage. It was disappointing. Rather flavourless. One small thing I do commend The Bear for, which many hotels are dropping these days, is the provision of complimentary packets of biscuits in the room. A small thing, I know, but adds that extra touch of class. All in all, an excellent experience and I would highly recommend The Bear."

The Old Mill Bed and Breakfast ★★★★
"Just returning home from a two night stay at the Old Mill, visiting the area for a wedding. Great location, charming property and our hosts could not have been more welcoming. The owners parents could not have looked after us any better! Breakfast was superb, eggs from the chickens in the garden; an introduction to the Llamas, anti-histamines when my hay fever flared up and even help retrieving our car the morning after the wedding. A genuinely lovely couple to meet. We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the Old Mill and hope to stay again in the future."
