"We chose here to stay firstly because we wanted less city noise than our previous accommodation on Independence Avenue. We weren’t disappointed. It was very quiet and we were still able to walk into the CBD in 15 minutes. On arrival we were greeted by a friendly welcome and shown the lounge where we could wait, as we had arrived early. We enjoyed a complimentary coffee and relaxed for a short time. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed. Our early morning checkout went smoothly and a staff member was on hand to help with our bags and open the gate for the taxi. Highly recommend this little gem."

From contemporary ambiances that immediately relax to well-crafted food and an excellent wine curation, everything about Livega is about the details. The a la carte breakfast menu is to die for, from indulgent to healthy, we were able to vary each morning. But above all it was the warmth of all the staff that made our stay special and longing to come back soon."

"Definitely not worth 5 stars! The entire building is extremely overdue. Broken chairs and sunbeds, mold running from the pools. The breakfast was very poor. Some fruit, white bread and yogurt without bowls to put it in. We had a good laugh about it and are glad we went out for a nice meal last night instead of eating here. The room was full of dead moths, but was okay for a night. Few staff walking around and those walking around can't even say hello."

Also the waitress told us that if we tipped her by signing the bill to our room she would not receive the tip .. so we gave her cash …. The marriot higher ups should be aware of this !"

"We were booked into this hotel by Wilderness, a luxury safari company for our last night before leaving Namibia. We were led in our room (room no 2). We were just ready to “jump” in our plunge pool when it knocked at our door. A really unfriendly staff member explained to us that we have to redress, pack our luggage and change to another room (room no 6), not as nice as room no 2, because she was mixing up names. We felt like second class people, no apologies, just the explanation that they made a mistake."

Breakfast was freshly prepared every morning and offered a nice variety of options. It was a great way to start each day before exploring Windhoek. The staff were always happy to help with local recommendations, transportation arrangements, and any questions I had, making the overall experience even more enjoyable. The guesthouse is conveniently located within a short drive of the city center, shopping areas, and several restaurants, making it an excellent base for both business travelers and tourists. Despite being close to the city, the property has a calm and relaxing environment that feels like a home away from home. Overall, Tilla’s Guesthouse offers excellent value for money with comfortable accommodation, attentive service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I would gladly stay here again on my next visit to Namibia and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant, safe, and affordable place to stay in Windhoek."
