"We have just returned from a visit to The Talbot at Knightswick. We had a fantastic stay. I’m sure the gorgeous weather helped as we arrived early Friday evening and had dinner in the beautiful (playground) beer garden in glorious sunshine. Excellent food, locally sourced or grown on site and delicious in house beer. Our room was really comfortable; the bed and bedding particularly so we both slept really well and as it was warm with the window wide open and not disturbed at all - very quiet out of opening hours. We had a fantastic view out the front over to the riverside beer garden which was perfectly maintained with picnic tables and lovely river views. We ate outside again on Saturday night, another delicious meal. Breakfast was huge and equally as good as the bar meals. There is nothing “corporate” about The Talbot, it’s eccentric and eclectic, it’s a proper authentic product of a traditionally family owned local pub/hotel. It’s not polished, it’s real honest hospitality, ok it’s a little worn round the edges but that just adds to the charm of the place and it exudes good vibes from genuinely warm, friendly staff. We will definitely be returning."

"Had a three night stay here and had a lovely relaxing time. The property is a beautiful large detached house, set in stunning grounds. The bed was super comfy and the breakfast, one of the best I've ever had, using local produce. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and Gigi is the perfect host 10/10"
