"It was an amazing place to stay! The staffs were very kind and accommodating. It was such an amazing place to have a staycation. I wish we stayed longer. The breakfast was really good."
El Lago Waters Hotel
"Booked this based on location & price. Hubby read the reviews & said it didn't sound great. I like to give things a chance & was only 1 night. We arrived and were greeted by Julie. She was pleasant. Our family room 212 was spacious, facing the car park. Kettle, toaster, microwave & WIFI worked, TV looked decent gave up trying to watch anything on it, and used our laptop & phones. Bathroom was fair, mattresses were fine, you get what you pay for, it's a 2 star motel not luxury end. We just needed a bed and shower for the night & we got it. Pool was nice, kids had a ball, we left early in the AM. We drove down the block and realised the bad reviews are for the EL LAGO Water Resort, which is the tourist park & that looks shady not for the EL LAGO Water Motel we stayed at. Cheers"
The Beachcomber Hotel & Resort, Ascend Hotel Collection
"great stay"
Ocean Front Motel
"I booked a double room on the top floor. The view was great. The room was slightly small, well-equipped and relatively new. It looked like it had been renovated not long ago, but the door had not been replaced, so it was a bit too old. There is a very clingy cat downstairs😀"
Ibis Styles the Entrance
"Nice clean hotel"
The Lakes Hotel
"Easy check in, toilets very clean, they said music might be loud but I couldn’t hear it,"
Blue Lagoon Beach Resort
"Nice we loved it"
Mercure Kooindah Waters Central Coast
"We booked a 3 bedroom apartment and we liked the spacious environment and with excellent swimming pools and sauna room. They provided buffet breakfast with fresh juice you can make at your choice. We had an issue of leftover a personal stuff at the apartment and the customer service deck helped to mail back to us without hesitation. This was a very pleasant experience and will book again definitely."
Grand Hotel and Studios
"Very nice and warm"

The Entrance Backpackers
"The place itself is spotlessly clean and well maintained. I really appreciated how safe and secure it felt, with clear rules in place that keep everything organised and respectful. It’s not a party hostel, but a place where you can relax, meet people in a welcoming environment, and feel at home. If you’re looking for a great value stay in The Entrance — clean, safe, with a warm and well-run atmosphere — I would highly recommend"
Nesuto the Entrance
"Good location, suits family holiday The room has some strange smell, though"
Perfect Retreat Absolute waterfront, Stunning View and Direct Access to water.
Shelly Beach Holiday Park
"Great location, lovely individual cabins with the comforts of home, fantastic for a family holiday without costing an arm or a leg. Lots of amenities on site for easy access. Water park & pool on site for the kids ( & adults) to have fun & the beach is right across the road. Only a short drive from Bateau Bay & The Entrance if you want to sightsee."
Budgewoi Holiday Park
"We took our new caravan to Budgewoi. Great park, green and leafy. Walk to the lake & the surf & bike ride on a path to Toukley. Dog friendly Park too. We were site 77, it felt like there was room at that end of the park, rather than those in the 200-300. Close to the newly renovated Budgewoi Pub. Will go back for sure."
Pullman Magenta Shores Resort
"Got lucky to be upgraded to the 3bedrooms villa! Have own car space correspond to the villa. Overall hygiene is acceptable. Amenities are adequate to family use. Not expecting luxurious experience but definitely a cozy one here. Reception staff is friendly and work till 10pm. Many guests are here for the golf, which is incredible."
Norah Head Holiday Park
"My wife and I have been on the road caravanning for over 10 years, and this would be the worst managed and poorly maintained park we’ve ever stayed in. We were evacuated from another caravan park due flooding. Rang and booked ahead staying for a week and asked to be close to the amenities, they placed us 400 meters away. Upon my complaint about the location, was advised by management to pick a site that’s suitable. However, after setting up at our chosen site I was informed that we can’t stay there for the week as it was booked for the weekend. We refused to move. (We were told by management to choose a site, so we did and we were comfortable). They relented and moved the double booking. When we wanted to extend our stay, we were then informed that the site was booked the following Friday and we were again asked to move (third time). So, we left. Despite that fact that the site directly behind was free it was insisted that we had to pull down our setup and move, these people were here for two days, and we had offered to stay for six weeks. Just about every park that we’ve been to if a site has been extended, and space wasn’t an issue future booking are moved to a site close by. Zero maintenance - the showers all had broken door locks as did the toilets and graffiti on the walls. Park was not well maintained, there were weeds that had reached maturity so had been there for quite a while. A lot of equipment was also “out of order”, like dryers and washing machines, their maintenance vehicle has only one working headlight. The Park advertised free WiFi, there was such thing as it did not extend beyond the near office surrounds. The management were extremely rude, condescending and espoused all their issues and as a customer I was not interested in their issues. All I wanted was some simple customer service that was absolutely non-existent. Common sense isn’t that common with these people. A very sad state. The council should be looking into this! We simply drove out the gate next morning."
Jetty Motel the Entrance
"Conveniently located close to everything. Nice Indian restaurant next to it. I stayed in the upgraded room which was big with a comfortable queen bed."
