"We booked a suite with a sofa in the living room for playing cards. The overall decor and cleanliness were quite good by county standards, and the room was a reasonable size. The downside was that the hotel faces a street, a road with heavy traffic at night, making the noise quite noticeable. Of course, the hotel owner had called us on the day of check-in to let us know about the street frontage and the noise. I didn't think it was too serious at first, but it was actually quite loud, so I brought earplugs (they're included in the hotel rooms). Light sleepers should exercise caution."

Every aspect of this place has been well designed and intentionally thought out. The only thing downside was that a lot of common spaces were sadly lacking maintenance and upkeep. There was a flood last year and the upkeep has probably been difficult. But once tidied up and properly maintained, this place has everything to qualify as a five star nature retreat."
