"The exterior looks okay, but the interior is incredibly old; it couldn't have been renovated in 2021. There were also huge cockroaches. I only took a few eggs for breakfast; the breakfast was practically nonexistent. The service was alright. When I arrived at the hotel and was given a room, the door lock was broken; the door wouldn't close and wasn't deadbolted, showing just how old it was. Looking at the pictures, do you think this is supposed to be a smart hotel?"

"I chose this hotel based on a friend's recommendation, but my experience was terrible. Strangely, the hotel corridors were completely dark, eerily so, and a bit scary. The noise was deafening; the plaza downstairs was incredibly noisy at night, and the building across the street was also very loud. The hotel's soundproofing was practically nonexistent, severely impacting my rest. The room layout was very poor, feeling cramped and oppressive, making me feel extremely uncomfortable. When I requested a room change at the front desk, the staff were impatient and showed absolutely no service awareness. I was told that "changing rooms would cost extra," and they claimed that "single rooms have a fixed layout on each floor," refusing to offer any reasonable solutions. The price was severely disproportionate to the experience; it failed to provide a basic quiet environment for rest, and the service was both impatient and terrible."

I called for cleaning the next day, and the melon seed shells were removed, but the betel nut shells were still not removed. The sofa was large but had stains on the fabric. There is breakfast, the experience is average"

"I stayed at a rather old and somewhat run-down hotel these past two days, but it had two glorious periods in history: first, it was built as a residence by General Li Jiezhi; second, it was transformed into a star-rated hotel through urban renewal. The current owner said that preserving it is not easy, as the maintenance costs of an old building are very high. Any building needs to attract people for its upkeep, and he hopes that more people will discover it to slow its decline. In addition, the chef and the waitresses deserve praise; they are all very warm and friendly Hakka people. The chef even specially made a childhood-remembered version of stir-fried pork belly with preserved vegetables according to my request, which was delicious. Unfortunately, I didn't get to try the taro root stir-fried with pork intestines that I wanted. The waitresses were also very honest; regardless of whether you drink or not, they always brewed a pot of Hakka-style Dancong tea. Although it's a hotel, I prefer to think of it as a guesthouse because it's run by a group of warm and friendly people. And Hakka cuisine is always delicious; I highly recommend everyone to try it."
